As someone who has dabbled in piccolo, his ability to play not absurdly high is really underrated. Not only that, but the articulation is beautifully punctuated.
Also damn, he showed off a lot of really good percussion instruments.
My guess is that he started on flute, learned guitar because, and then learned all of the other instruments (you get piano and percussion almost for free from Music Theory classes). (I play brass) He seems the most natural playing flute instruments.

I’m not sure about the percussion, but the most impressive thing about the piccolo was that it was in tune.

Your Undertale covers are becoming something quite special, this one in particular. The percussion was a very nice touch and extremely well executed. Bevore you even mentioned it at the end, I could already imagine myself walking in a quiet snowy forest looking at all the lesser dog sculptures :p

* The gentle and slow swaying of this song always brought a lot of comfort. I love how it doesn't heavily rely on christmasy themes just to get the idea across. But through the echoing of the instruments, it brings this feeling of quiet emptiness that winter often has. With the slowness the notes are performed it gives off the sleepy vibes too.. Once again, a fantastic cover - very well done. And nice editing with the fade ins/outs. (And fun fact but this premiered on my birthday ^-^)

This is such a delicate track and you capture that so well. Full marks for using sleigh bells at THIS time of year and yet NOT making them annoying. That light touch is just right.
God, I cannot put into words how good your covers are. Even though some of them may deviate from the original a little bit, it still retains the energy or “aura” of the song. Man all of your Undertale covers are astounding, you can really tell that there was not only a lot of attention paid to the instrument selection for each one, but heart poured into them too.

You did quite a good job with capturing the theme you set for yourself, and your non-overuse of instruments, percussive and not, helped to keep the song’s original “empty” (in a good way) feel. It definitely made my day better.
I am curious, what is your process for making these songs? Do you set a theme for yourself first, and do you develop it by ear or use a music scripting program of some sorts?
This song is the essence of finding beauty in simplicity, and your choices of instruments were perfection.

This video was so incredibly pleasant and relaxing to watch. I could see the joy you felt while playing all the instruments. Your playing of the song was so good and accurate that before it showed yourself at the piano I thought you were playing a bit of the original for comparison's sake. You were that good at playing.

It's very peaceful, but the percussion near the end sort of gives it that... determined vibe. That you're going through the snow with a purpose.

I just adore all of your Undertale covers. They really manage to have the same vibe as the original while still expanding on them with the many instruments!! also they make for really cool driving tracks haha
This had such a different mix of feelings for me. At first it was neutral, then the rhythmic string plucking gave me final fantasy vibes before settling into a sort of genshin impact. The bells gave it bravely default vibes to me towards the end. As a lover of all those games/series, this was just a winner all around and really captured a nice wintery sound to me! Would be perfect for any winter zone ost, imo!

Dang, I can't believe a year has passed since I listened to this music. That winter was very hard for me because of bereavement, and these musics helped me to get some calm and closure with that. Really I appreciate you made this piece even if it was for your own amusement. Music embeds themselves in memories, and depending of the tune, they might help to improve them if they were awful memories. My best wishes to you both ✌

Right on time for the start of December, as cold sets in and we're starting to see more snow here, I get to play this at my workplace and enjoy the chilly atmosphere.

Suddenly remembering one winter years ago when it snowed over a foot and I went outside to walk around and had the OST version of this song on my headset. I remember it wasn't even that cold out, just quiet and beautiful.
