Very interesting act. Thank you for posting this . Do you know what show this was originally broadcast on ? The sound appears to have been dubbed over the original sound because Mr. Cox seems to be speaking frequently throughout the act , but there is no sound of his voice . Also there is no crowd noise from the studio audience and no applause from the audience in the first part of the video, then later on there is some applause dubbed in at certain moments , but it doesn't sound like it was recorded from a live studio audience watching the act. Anyway, it is a fascinating glimpse back at a style of cabaret magic that no longer exists.

Do you know if this is the routine wich won the Grand Prix 3 years before?
Very different times then...for that kind of repetition and timing to be interesting...
Seems very "removed" from audience by todays norms.
