Their 2nd best scorer in that series was Jabari Parker. And Brooklyn didn't even sweep them. Once this matchup was revealed, I knew Boston was going to crush them. Why? Because the previous year regardless of injuries, Steve Nash was the main reason they lost to the Bucks because he did nothing to counter Giannis. The same thing happened here. The Nets made no adjustments on either side and thought they could play streetball and get to the Finals that way. Big mistake. When your best scorer is Bruce Brown there is a problem. Once Tatum hit the buzzer-beater in Game 1, the beatdown was about to begin.

The nets didn’t have a bad team, they had Seth curry, Bruce brown, Patty mills, Nic Claxton, these are good role players, people are just used to KD being on super stacked teams. 2022 was the only year KD wasn’t on a stacked team since he left the thunder and he got somewhat exposed.
Hell yeah, kyrie played with every top player in the league since leaving Lebron and he hasn’t been able to even get out of the second round since and KD been on like two superteams since leaving GS and he hasn’t gotten out of the second round either.
