This song is like the icing on top of an already amazing cake. To me, it sort of just pulls the entire album together into a single, beautiful piece. Hands down the greatest concept album I have ever heard. It's not too literal, and has so many hidden nuances that really go into defining it. I am in love, and I cannot wait until the next album comes out. Silverstein is one of those bands that just gets better with every release.

Hairs still stand on my neck when I hear this. The moment I realised both songs play together to make this!! It was before Silverstein released the bonus track in the UK. I used music software to put the tracks together. Even though I realised I wasn't the only one to notice, at that moment I discovered it myself, it was beautiful

Is it me, or did Silverstein peak with this album? By far the best they've ever made in my opinion, and the albums following this one just don't hit quite hard or do it for me...

Feel the same way. Don't get me wrong, they've had some pretty stellar songs since this album.. But _this album_ was an absolute _beast._ One where you don't skip a single track, and could even listen to the entire album on repeat.

There are two tracks on the album called "This is How" and "The Wind Shifts" this is those tracks played over each other.

The point is that there are different point in life that can change. The change represents the wind blowing in the trees and the ocean. The title of the song means that this is how life happens and the life can change in an instant.
