Dean you are a life saver. Ive been reading endlessly, never understood what the hell was going on. After this video, I feel like I completely understood everything. Thank you for much for your time!
I passed the series 7 today! I wouldn’t have been able to do so without all your videos. It was very heavy on option and Margin and math in general. But I was prepared for that thanks to your videos. Great addition to my STC.
DEAN! I could cry, man. Thank you. Your lectures so far have been priceless, especially these on options. I take the 7 for the first time here in a week and a half. You have been helping tremedously. I don't come from a finance background in my education, so before these lectures attempting options has felt like a fight for a knife in the mud. Once again, THANK YOU!

This was utterly amazing! I have been stalling my series 7 exam because I was struggling with the concept of options. Never has it been more clear. I’m now ready to complete my options chapter and start taking my practice exams. Thank God for you!
I was searching RUclips yesterday as a last ditch effort to understand options the day before my exam and stumbled upon your videos. Wonderful explanation and immediately saw better scores on my practice tests as a result of your video. The matrix was very easy to remember and I wrote it down as soon as my test started. Also watched your summary of the FINRA practice test and it was the perfect review. Passed first try!! Thanks and onto the 6 and 63!

I LOVE your current format of slides and handwritten notes to keep things clean and easier to understand, especially as you go back and forth. I rewind a ton and re-watch as it is. GREAT job!

You asked in the recording if as a viewer/student watching would it be preferred to watch the lecture with prepared slides or the the whiteboards. I have watched both now for that last two days and whole heartedly I prefer your slides with the annotation. Let me add before closing I do thoroughly appreciate your clear explanations and relatable examples. TY!
really great video Dean! I was like others you referenced, Puts were a challenge. Thank you very much! Slides were great, white board would be less satisfying. I took screenshots to make the "poor man's" note card.
Hey Dean, love the lectures; they are a great help. I recently took my S7 and there was a question that had me kind of stumped and was wondering if you could answer it one of your next videos or reply back to this. The question was basically an options question dealing with calls and puts and how they would be applied to a customers portfolio; example: four different funds (A, B, C, D) each containing various amounts of different assets such as: fund a - 40% equities and 60 %debt as compared to fund d - 10% alt investments 90% commodities. Depending on market conditions, what call or put would be placed on what fund? Thanks
Will add to Series 7 Practice Exam 4. Looks like maybe testing on systematic risk in stocks and bonds. You would buy index puts of the index that most closely approximates the stock portfolio. Hope to make money on the puts to offset losses of the stock portfolio. You could also buy calls on the VIX. The VIX goes the opposite way of the market. Portfolio goes down VIX contracts you are holding go up. Hope, once again, to offset losses on the stock portfolio with the profit on the VIX call contracts. Systematic on the bond portfolio a little trickier. Afraid of interest rates going up causing your bond portfolio to go down. So need to do an option that goes up in value if interest rates go up. That would be a yield based option. Yield based options have a direct relationship with interest rates. So to make money on rising interest rates buy a yield based call. Hoping the profits on the yield based call offset losses on the bond portfolio,
