Great idea, Julie! I love your wonky pockets, it’s soooo you! Haha! Like everyone else, I always look forward to a lovely waffle-fest! You did not disappoint! You're such a giggle, chuckle and JOY to watch and listen to, m'dear 😅. Your results are lovely and remind me of your video and make me smile again. Thanks!
Oh Julie ... your crochet made me smile (actually I smile or laugh all the way through your video .. the things you say honestly crack me up). I have taught so many people to crochet. My last student was a prize. The only reason she wanted to learn was because everyone else was doing it. A year later and she is still on her first granny square and she still asks me what she has to do next. She does this weird thing when she gets to a corner. She has a perfect tension though. She was a real tester I can tell you. Only thing I can say to you is ... if my friend Sue can do it, so can you .
Thanks Sandy love 😊 i will keep on keeping on with the crochet, it's a vendetta now. It's come about because my youngest wants to learn. She's autistic and dyslexic and finding it very difficult to get the hang of, so we are doing it together. I think we are a pair of Sues😘😁🤗💜
I love the pockets! They are beautiful. Practice practice practice is all I can say about your crochet! Lol. You'll get there. I struggle with it, too, at times. ❤

Hi Julie. I love your perfectly imperfect pockets! They are so fun. I have so much fun watching you. I love your laugh and your “ waffling”. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. ❤
I just love watching you craft. I always learn something, and you make me laugh. You make me forget all about my problems. Thank you for sharing your time.
Awesome pockets made from the gorgeous Edith Holden pages. I love her vintage pages but I’m afraid here in the US I’ve never seen one that’s not an astronomical amount…so I will admire yours…😊. You always bring a smile to my face as I watch and craft along. I crochet but mostly only things like afghans that are easy. I haven’t done it for quite some time since I’m always paper crafting. For me I found a stitch like a shell stitch or some type of rows easier than granny squares. We all were the same in the beginning getting our tension even but I’m sure you’ll master it in no time. I’ll tell you something funny. My late mom used to knit with one ball of pink yarn. Now mind you as soon as she used all of that one ball of yarn she would rip it all back out and roll it back into a ball and start again…😂. She knitted to keep her hands busy so she wasn’t chain smoking or snacking 😂😂😂! Your pink yarn made me think of her so thank you for that. Thanks for the video 🥰!
Thanks Belinda love 😊 that is such a sweet story about your mum. The same think is going to happen with this pink ball due to crochet quality control issues😘 I will look up the shell stitch and try my hand🤗💜

I too have been trying my hand at crochet, it is a lot more difficult than what I see others doing on video. They make it looks so easy. I almost got a hat done, and realized I didn't count the stiches and it is turning out to be large enough to fit a gorilla. So it does take practice. My mom used to be a whiz at it, made some very beautiful doilies and such. I really like this project, I don't have an Edith Holden book, but I suppose any book would do with pretty pictures. Thanks so much for sharing and giving me a few giggles. Much needed for I have been very sick lately myself. Take good care, look forward to seeing what you come up with next.

Hey there pretty lady I hope all is well with you and your family! I’ve been missing in action for a bit and working on getting a couple of quilts finished for the kids as birthday presents this year. It’s going to be a bit before I make it back to working on anything Journal related but I still enjoy the videos when I’m chilling. I’m making 2 king size quilts for my kids and just finished my first ever quilt which was also a king size. I made my first on for my cousin/best friend who tragically lost her 15 year old son. I made the quilt in memory of him and I hope she’s at least warm and feels the love that I put into making it. May 12th is when we have Mother’s Day in the states, I never knew that a holiday like that would fall on different days throughout the world or even if all countries had it. You always get my mind spinning with questions from things that are different between our countries. 😍❤️ very pretty makes Julie. I just finished watching your video and the sirens went off announcing a tornado warning and to take cover. My dog, Argo just beat me down the stairs to the basement.😳
Ooooo i don't know how you can cope with that Carol, i'd be a nervous wreck. hope all is ok lovely🤗💜💜
@@CameliaCraftsDesigns everything is okay. It’s only a warning when activity is spotted in the nearby areas. No tornado just quarter sized hail. 😊
