What Are The First Signs Of Bone Cancer?

  • Bone cancer is relatively rare compared to many other types, accounting for less than 1 percent of all cancers diagnosed. Many of the symptoms are the same as other types of cancer. These include fatigue, sudden weight loss, difficulty sleeping, unexplained anemia (low blood count), and less desire to eat.
Symptoms that are specific to bone cancer include the following.
    Bone Pain
Typically, bone pain feels like it's coming from deep inside a part of your body. It also features burning, itching, or may radiate. Often, the discomfort is chronic, or long-lasting.
Pain may originate from a tumor inside a bone, or it may happen when the bone tumor presses against nearby nerves or organs.
    Inflammation, Swelling and Tenderness
Inflammation near the location of the cancer often causes swelling and tenderness. Inflammation tends to be more pronounced in places where there are lots of nerves ad body tissues. Sometimes, bone cancer causes nearby skin to look red.
    Increased or Frequent Fractures
Many people find out they have bone cancer due to a light fall or injury that causes a fracture. Cancer weakens bone structure over time, leading to frequent bone breaks, or breaks that seem to happen too easily.
Bone deterioration can cause a fracture even when you're doing ordinary, simple things like standing up or leaning on something.
As bone cancer grows, it may spread to surrounding areas, weakening them as well. If you have recently suffered a fracture, consult your doctor.
Bone cancer most commonly affects the pelvis or the long bones in the arms and legs, but it can happen anywhere in the body. For some reason, noncancerous bone tumors are much more common than cancerous ones.
The most common treatment for serious bone cancer is surgical removal of the tumor, depending on the type of bone cancer being treated.

A bone is a rigid organ that constitutes part of the vertebrate skeleton.
Bones support and protect the various organs of the body, produce red and white blood cells, store minerals, provide structure and support for the body, and enable mobility.
Bones come in a variety of shapes and sizes and have a complex internal and external structure.
They are lightweight yet strong and hard, and serve multiple functions.
Bone tissue (osseous tissue) is a hard tissue, a type of dense connective tissue.
It has a honeycomb-like matrix internally, which helps to give the bone rigidity.
Bone tissue is made up of different types of bone cells.
Osteoblasts and osteocytes are involved in the formation and mineralization of bone; osteoclasts are involved in the resorption of bone tissue.
Modified (flattened) osteoblasts become the lining cells that form a protective layer on the bone surface.
The mineralised matrix of bone tissue has an organic component of (mainly) collagen (called ossein), and an inorganic component of bone mineral made up of various salts.
Bone tissue is a mineralized tissue of two types, cortical bone and cancellous bone.
Other types of tissue found in bones include bone marrow, endosteum, periosteum, nerves, blood vessels and cartilage.
In the human body at birth, there are over 270 bones, but many of these fuse together during development, leaving a total of 206 separate bones in the adult, not counting numerous small sesamoid bones.
The largest bone in the body is the femur or thigh-bone, and the smallest is the stapes in the middle ear.
The Greek word for bone is ὀστέον ("osteon"), hence the many terms that use it as a prefix - such as osteopathy.

I wanna ask if i have a bone cancer or not.
5 years ago my elbow got injured by falling down since then i felt a dense bone pain in my left elbow a week later the pain spread to my right leg ankle and then on my right leg knee then in my long upper bone of left hand.
    It is very painful.
I felt pain every time while working, walking and even if i didn't do nothing.
In night i was unable to sleep because the pain increases and sometimes i started crying at night.
For 1 and a half year i go through such constant pain. I had taken so much medicine but didn't shown any effect.
There are no lumps but there is swelling in these site.
Slowly the symptoms fades away and i got a high fever for 10 days with swelling in my lymph nodes then i decided to go to the doctor.
They had done my blood test, chest xray.
And told me that i am alright
    Gave me some tablets.
I still have pain in my upper left arm but is is bearable.
Now i learned about bone cancer osteosarcoma.
i am still alive so can there any be chance that i have osteosarcoma or not 😢😢😢
    I want to live 😅😅😅😅
