Visited in September. What makes this park so wonderful is the priority of making people have a magical day, rather than making money. There’s no fast track and the food is not only the best food i’ve ever had in a theme park, it’s CHEAP. I paid £2 for an ice cream. I can’t buy an ice cream for £2 from a local van! Merch is reasonable too and not shoved in your face - most rides don’t even have a shop.

Actually there is a service for souvenirs. They bring it to the entrance for you (or to the hotel), so you don't have to carry it all day ! That service is free of charge @@ThemeParkWorldwide

Starts love the day 2 vlogs as they focus on everything else the park had to offer. I loved the music from piranha, and could easily lose myself in fairy tale forest. Excellent job filming the park, love watching all the vlogs this weekend!
There's quite a few things i didn't get to see last time. The museum, shows and a couple of areas of the fairytale forest. Another fantastic vlog from my favourite place.

Thank you for sharing this amazing park. I am from the USA 🇺🇸 and have been to Disney World many times. However from what I have seen Efteling is so much better. I think originally this is what Disney had in mind but it’s been taken over by big business.
What a beautiful park. Love all the trees. All this park needs is a stand-out coaster, and it would be perfect. Hopefully, they can get a new coaster in the next couple of years.
It’s exactly like you said, nostalgia for me from when I was younger. Every time I see the dancing water lelies in real time or on a screen it remembers me of my mom, whom past away a few years ago, telling me about the story and it was a fairytale written by our Belgian queen at that moment queen Fabiola. My mom loved the fairytale forest, went there when she was young , took us when we were young, I kept going at least every few years an now I take my son to the wonderful world of the Efteling. For me with every new edition and every change or rebuild in the park, it is growing more and more into how it should be. What they do is always spot on who they are. Can’t wait for their next big project and to see them growing in big and smal places all over the park. It is absolutely my favourite park from since I was a toddler. So thanks for the vlogs the past few days and bringing up some great memories. You guys are really the greatest in what you do.
Really enjoyed watching your video after coming home from Efteling! Vogel Rok is one of my favourite rides, with its amazing soundtrack. Piranha in the dark was a highlight too, along with a night ride on Joris. Too many excellent rides to pick a favourite!
Another fun fairytale forrest fact: The Emporers New Clothes (the one with the characters behind the hedge) is actually a test setup for Symbolica. All the figures are moving on trackless vehicles.
Ahh you just missed it @47:18 Just before you go into the second room of the museum, if you look through that window around the left corner, you see the animatronic of the count from Spookslot which was visible as a peppers ghost effect in the attraction itself.
20:36 Unfortunately you missed Sleeping Beauty, that fairy tale has had a major renovation and the landscape around it has completely changed including a new pond with waterfall and two new residents have been added to the fairy tale, a knight and an owl that guards the key to the castle.
Vogel Rok is my sons favourite ride too. It was quiet the day we visited so we went on about 10 times! Would love to buy all those models and build a full Efteling replica :)

Thanks to u, I have never been, this is now my top spot place to go, I LOVE Netherlands been soooo many times, but where is it I need t research nearest trains etc. this is my 2025 trip, great posts of it u guys, love u loads ... Dance Macre looks, DIFFERENT ... like Hex on speed and moving and tilting love it, Matt South UK. (25 mins from Thorpe hope to meet u one day mate) x
If you're going by train, get a train to Breda, there's shuttle buses from there to the park in Kaatsheuvel. It's an easy station to get to from either Brussels or Amsterdam, both roughly 1,5 hours away. I'd recommend a three day visit and a stay on site in one of their hotels/holiday parks (I think Bosrijk is the nicest one), it really adds to the experience, and the park is way too big to take it all in in one day.

Gutted that I didn't see you guys at the park on Thursday, but I had to get that opening day ride in at Danse Macabre (and go to work right after). I was one of many in that huge cue line. 'Only' waited about 2.5 hours though. Not bad at all. And totally worth it. I went to the sneak preview event on October 26th and they improved the ride a lot after that. Can't wait to have many more rides on it.

Shawn, I had to go to the Dr today for a check up on a lump that I've had on my stomach for 8 years, went to have an ultrasound done and next week have to see a radiologist, I'm a bit scared but your videos are keeping my mind off it.

Shawn - You need to do an old school water ride bonanza like you did at (i cant remember the place!) but you went on a water slide about 50 times and got completely drenched!

Watching videos of European thrne parks makes you think Alton Towers has lost the magic. So many dark themes. What about magical, fun themes? At Alton Towers, I'd love to see a traditional fairground with the music, lighting and food associated with it open in the evenings too.

New homepark? 😁You missed out on the revamped (area) of Sleeping beauty castle. And maybe next time go inside all the buildings of 'The People of Laaf' including a new addition recently.
Yes, het Lurk en Limoen huys has a lovely new scene and animatronic. In my opinion the indoor scènes at Laaf are the most underrated and often missen gems of the park. Especially since the story of the people of Laaf was an original creation by then head designer Ton van der Ven. Also the new landscaping around sleeping beauty castle has really changed the vibe and refreshed the whole area.

It was already on the planning, but then covid happened and the plans got scrapped. They will probably make a new concept the coming years.
As much as I love Efteling, I think that adding a stand-out coaster to the park would be awesome to experience.
