"You waiting for your girlfriends?" Walter is the man
I know I am
Should have said boyfriends pointing to the other guys with him LOL
@@StonedMeadowOfDoom he was talking about the other guys with him. He was calling the two dickwads his girlfriends, basically calling them bitches
@@StonedMeadowOfDoom boi
No one commented on how smart Walt was. He went through the back and came in through the front so the guy wouldn't see him coming. The guy obviously had a huge size and height advantage. Walt always sized up his opponents and then came up with a plan to take them down, it's what I always liked about him.
That makes sense. I always wondered why he did that

BRAVO VINCE!
lain iwakura Well maybe you do in the last scene while WW is fondling over his meth empire. He is heisenberg at that point since he's too far in, but also restored a little humanity rescuing Jesse, soooo one could say he is an intermediate at that point.

Walter White has left the game.
Hiesenberg as joined the game.
+lain iwakura You do ... in the last episode. Walt admits he is Heisenberg and accepts that side of himself.
Now imagine Heisenberg running into them.
imagine Mike going after them!😂
Imagine Tuco and the idiot's leg.
That WAS Heisenberg.
+MassEffectGER lol I guess they would lose both legs and some teeth as well if they messed up with Tuco.
That was Proto-Heisenberg. None of them left in a barrel.
I was so proud of walt when he did that
If that was Tuco….

Nah Walt should have used ricin on this guy.
Walt would be furious to hear you talk of him in that tone. He doesn’t need people like you to be proud of him.
If Skyler hadn't already been pregnant, she would have got pregnant in this scene.

+bobcrqw don't you know Aztec? arent you American?
Most people I speak to, inform me that this is the beginning of Heisenburg. I simply see it as a father standing up for his son
This is where Walt shows the first sign of being determined dangerous. The "This is not meth" was a bigger hint. The point is, this scene itself in a slightly more subtle way shows Walt becoming a force not to reckon with. Look closely from the point where he says "You'll only have one shot." He's showing that same "I AM THE DANGER!" thing that he's gonna be showing pretty soon.
This scene may not have been the beginning Heisenberg, but it was the first real lead up to him.
Mark McDowell
This showed just how loyal Walt was to his family, something that despite it all he never lost. Also that inside he wasn't a wimp either.
Mark McDowell If you payed attention to the plot, you would know that Walter White would have never done something like this. He says early on in the series that he always lived under the boundaries and rules of other people, and that he never truly lived his own life. Although this isn't 100% Heisenberg, it is showing the transformation that basically the entire series is showing. He doesn't just transform over one episode, the entire series is him getting worse and worse until he hits rock bottom.
I completely agree with you Alex. I just wanted to see how many likes I could get with that particular comment.
***** Imo he started his transformationas heisenberg when he burned that guy's car at the gas station and walked off
Walt leaves out the back door, and Heisenberg comes through the main entrance.

Everyone has a dark side, it's just whether you act on it or tame it.
Aww, such a caring man. I hope he protects his family like this forever and totally doesn't end up tearing his own family apart and kidnapping his own daughter.
I am being spoiled but had a good laugh thanks.
How can you "kidnap" your own daughter?
@@fenderbender2096 you can’t that’s not called kidnapping I don’t know what the original comment is talking about 😂
I mean, even with kidnapping his own daughter, Walter did it to protect Skyler. Had he not said what he had said on the phone call with Skyler (which he knew was being monitored) she likely could have received prison time as she knew about Walter being Heisenberg.
who the fuck makes fun of a crippled kid? Well whoever does better start treading lightly
MrPelhambay A lot of people actually. I've seen it and heard it a lot, and quite frankly, it just makes me sick. People also love to make fun of people with down-syndrome, which is incredibly heartless and pathetic.

It's heartbreaking seeing Walt's face when they were making fun of Walt Jr. Such a sad scene.
true that
Well, I was feeling so bad for Junior too. Look at his face at 00:59 - it´s really so sad and unfair.
The angry, helpless look on Skylar's face made me feel really bad for her, too.
Yes. Little did we know that Walter would beat the shit out of that asshole
It's a face full of embarrassment and insecurity that has developed over the years. This came the point where he couldn't take it anymore.

it was a nursing home. not a hospital

Walt walked out, and Heisenberg walked in
Take it, take your shot. TAKE IT! I Love how Walter is basically calling the bully out to hit him when he probably know's he won't.
Well the scene would play a WHOLE lot different if the bully took the shot. While it's a nice scene, seeing justice, what Walt did was actually pretty reckless and irresponsible, considering the fact that he was with his pregnant wife and crippled kid, and there where 3 guys bigger than him.
artur6912 True. But I think after he learned that he had cancer he decided to take control over what little life he had left and stand up for his son regardless of if the bully and his friends would fight him or not.
Awolfx
Actually I feel it's the opposite of taking control, more of not giving a fuck anymore and letting years of anger and frustration out.
@@artur6912 this scene is initially supposed to be seen as badass, but on rewatch, one of the many red flags that led Walt into Heisenberg
Walt didn't assume the bully won't take the shot. He was in full fight mode.

This is the scene where everyone went from thinking, “this shows not bad” to “Fuck, this show’s awesome!”
Walt exited through the back. Pre-Heisenberg entered from the front.
Walter had to do that. It’s genius writing. By defending his son gives us the audience a reason to like Walter
Whats wrong chief, having a little trouble walking?
I love how he looked about to cry and played the victim once he got his ass kicked
Imagine years later that kid sees that he was face to face with death. If he had only been in that situation barely a year later he likely would've been severely maimed or at least completely put in his place
Something so liberating about being able to stand up for yourself and the ones you love. A high that Walter couldn't get enough of
People say Walt slowly became Heisenberg over the course of the series. I disagree. Heisenberg was Always there. Underneath Walt’s fragile ego and mild mannered self, there was a psychopathic monster willing to do anything to get to the top
the “having trouble walking chief” gives me robin williams vibes, i love it
Fr it was hella comedic
Sounds like Robin😢😢
Even a man who has severe cancer will still defend and take care of his family.....Walter White is a real man
Ok, but Junior won me over with the "do i look like a skater?" comment 0:54
Crazy how they could only afford used closed and at the end they could afforded to buy the whole brand
This is like one of the best scenes in Season One............
"What's wrong, chief? Having trouble walking?"
Is such a simple line but *so* god damn good.
I love the look on Skyler's face - you can see she's pleased and proud that he's stood up to them to protect their son. And Walter is totally getting some tonight.
Skyler is actually an under-noticed character. Everyone realises how Walt goes from Mr Chips to Scarface, but she also goes from bored, suburban housewife to a kind of gangster herself. By the last season she's more assertive, more glamorous and a whole lot more interesting. She starts off as a bit of a Karen. But by the end she's pretty badass.
No, she’s pretty much a karen the entire time through, it’s just that her resentment with the life she feels trapped in grows
I don’t know why but when I first heard him say “what’s wrong chief? Having a little trouble walking?” I found it absolutely hilarious. Might’ve been the way he said it. Idk
2:16 , dude looks like he's about to cry hahaha
walt was actually a good guy in season 1 in my opinion. he was a chad too.
2:20 Well what did you expect!? You were making fun of his son!
In season 4/5, he would of killed him and got rid of him using a barrel of acid.
Frat bro should be happy he didnt end up in a barrel. Shit goes down when the man is bald.
I think they were very few things missing from this show, but the show did have a comedic element to it, and I think a dramatic as well as comedic addition would be this kid seeing Heisenberg on the news, and realizing how damn lucky he was.
Walt left the store and HEISENBURG CAME IN.
I don’t care what he did in the 5 seasons
Of this show, this will always be the most badass scene to me. Period.
the fact that he did it as a surprise attack made it that much better. that pos kid didn’t deserve a fair fight
If you don't know who I am... Then maybe your best course would be to tread lightly
I imagine walt just hyping himself up for a few seconds before entering the store, thinking what he'd say.
I don't think it's one of these Walter-changes-to-Heisenberg scenes..
it shows that there is more in walter than you think

This show is just plain outstanding. Gotta love Bryan Cranston
The way he delivers his line at 1:09 and then at 1:12 gives me goosebumps. Some of the best acting I've ever seen.
I love Walt Jr's. Little smile at the end
The moment they got home Walter soundproofed the bedroom in anticipation of the night ahead.
As soon as I've heard the beep and angry Walter running to them, I knew shit was going down
Walt was like:
"I'm done playing by the rules."
This is the exact moment that Walt jr became a skater
“Look at that weirdo with his mommy helping!” Walt: **hold my beer**
Nah, it should’ve been *hold my hat*
Skyler was being reasonable and I appreciate that from her, as that is a very good position to take, but she definitely was a fan of Walter's approach.
The look on Jr.'s face
This is the moment Walt entered through the back door.
“Psycho”
You have no idea boy
