I have resigned from German base listed company and I have invested money on company stocks and now I have to transfer those shares on my personal demat account. I do not have an idea so what i have to do to transfer those shares on my demat accout. please tell me the procedure.
This depends on how your company is distributing these stocks. Chances are that your company opened some sort of depotkonto for you. If thats the case you can simply transfer that account to a broker like Scalable Capital.
Hiya - here's a random one. I'm no longer a resident in Germany and moved back home to Australia. Should I leave my $ in German account? Can I do anything to invest the money without a German address/residency now?
You only pay Capital Gains Tax on your investments if you realize the gains. Meaning that you sell your stocks/ETFs at a profit. Capital Gains also applies on the interest you receive. However there is a tax free limit of 1000 Euro per year for individuals and 2000 Euro for Couples

I have just moved to Germany last month. I signed up on Scalable Capital using your referral link but I am unable to activate it and need your guidance. Can I activate it using Pakistani passport?
You only pay taxes on realized gains (after a stock is sold and profit is made). Losses can also be adjusted agains any gains from the same category where capital gains are applied

Hello Ahsan, I am masters student in Germany and I started earning from last month. If I started investing my money here in stocks did that affect my tax class?? Currently I am in Tax class 1.
Hey there, if you invest your own money and realize the gains. The profit you get will be taxed as capital gains and has nothing to do with your tax class. If you start day trading then that is a totally different scenario.
