    Subscribed cause you’re doing most of the mods I had in my head. I just picked up my 23 two weeks ago in white also. This tire size looks way better.

    I got a Z250, it's basically the same frame and engine as the Ninja 400/Z400 bikes except with shorter piston stroke. I know all of them use the same size wheel but fitted 150/60 tyres at the rear for the 400s. Been wanting to fit my Z250 with Metzeler Sportec M5 but all the workshops in my country only carry big bikes sizes for that tire. Now I know I can fit 160/60 safely on my stock rear wheel thanks to you. Man I'm so happy I will get to try a lot of tire models knowing this fact.

      I don’t think a a 250cc is going to have the same engine as a 400cc…

      @jampiserapah 3 месяца назад

      @@Ninja.rider007 it's the same engine except for the fact it has shorter piston stroke and different crankshaft because of that. It's like the Zx-4rr uses the same engine block as the zx-25rr that we have here in Asia. Different stroke and crank configurations of course

    Beautiful bike! Getting one next week. Your videos definitely made me lean towards the white one, appreciate the good content!

    Just put a deposit down on one of these and will be picking it up in two weeks! Cool to see what the bike looks like without the stickers. I'll probably be taking them off too. Subscribed!

    Any difference with regards to the MPG of the bike, with bigger tires?

    I was thinking of upgrading to these tires and sizes on my Ninja400 as well. Aside from adding a little height, do you like the difference? Maybe feel like you're gripping the road a bit more?

    • @BillyOnroad
      @BillyOnroad  Год назад +3

      I love the difference. The bike is still very nimble and flickable. She definitely feels more stable at higher speeds as im not blown around as much. Grips very well. No regrets on my end.

    I got the blinkers, but they are sequential.

    I'm cutting my exhaust in half just next to the shield so it still looks stock but sounds great. Try it and make a video!

      Thats awesome, thats gonna sound nice! I ended up picking up the factory akrapovic exhaust. I'm trying to keep the bike quiet since I have 1hr daily commutes.

    How did the new tire size effect your speedometer? Have you had any issues with your ABS system? I have the same bike as you and I do a lot of highway driving in windy Oklahoma and would like some more stability in the wind.

    • @BillyOnroad
      @BillyOnroad  Год назад +1

      No effect on speedo or abs. Works as it should.

    I noticed you went with a 170 on the rear. No issues there? I was thinking 160 but want 170 😂 how’s the handling on twisties and any weather? Sweet bike btw, love the white. I’m on a Midnight Pearl (teal lol it’s teal) ‘21 400 but absolutely love white bikes. Haha prolly why I bought a white camera 😂😂 I was using a rokform mount BEFORE they added the dampener but it killed my front camera. Excellent mount but made the switch to QuadLock. New rubber and TST upgrades next!

      @@BillyOnroad oh ok I thought so. Tires look really nice. Havnt done much to my 400 just green rear spools. Ordered a two brothers exhaust only because I drive through alot of traffic on the way to work and a little noise might help them notice me . Definitely getting a fender eliminater. It makes it look a little sportier.

    • @BillyOnroad
      @BillyOnroad  Год назад +1

      @user-uo9mq6md7x nice! I picked up a fender eliminator as well. I found the oem akrapovic slip on that kawasaki sells, so will see how that looks on the bike.

    Hi nice bike. Im not a fan of the color white but it does look good and clean.
    The TST blinkers in my opinion look good but are not very bright in daylight nor night time. I also have a 400 but i replace the incandescent bulb with an super bright led. In bright daylight can be easily seen far away. At night its undeniably bright and of course highly visible. Again nice bike and tires too. Ride safe.

    How come you dont have frame sliders?

    • @BillyOnroad
      @BillyOnroad  Год назад

      I've never ran frame sliders. I know shit happens but I've been riding for 12 years. Only dropped my bike once and that was because an idiot driving stick killed his engine on a incline and rolled back into me.

      @_code_green_3859 Год назад

      @@BillyOnroad Oh okay i see. Im just asking cause im new to riding and im looking into frame sliders and dont know which to buy. Im leaning towards TST since their products seem to be genuine but no one has a review on them.

    • @BillyOnroad
      @BillyOnroad  Год назад +1

      @_code_green_3859 can't go wrong with TST. Not a bad a idea to install if you're a new rider. Everyone says the first drop is inevitable but just ride safe and you'll be fine.

    Isn't that a shame that Kawasaki hasn't modernized the 400, so that you have to buy relays just to add led lights. Old, ugly gauges too, no tech either. I just don't see why people buy this bike anymore.
