There is no "suffering thru" you! The last few lively videos have made a world of difference in my world and I am 100% sure I am not alone. Be you! Be "manic". Sniff your yarn and sing whenever you flecking feel inspired to do so! You are amazing!!
Crystal please never apologize for letting your personality show. I love it when you get excited and let your crazy show. You are great, and I know I’m like thousands of other people who watch you enjoy when you are playing and singing to your yarn. Let your freak shine girl!! ❤
The James C Brett Aztec has got a lovely sheen to it 👍 Yes, you’re right, we do (in the U.K.) generally call all yarn, wool. However since watching you, Crystal, I now call ‘wool’ yarn!
Crystal, Thank you for all of your videos. I am just learning how to crochet at 58. Your Granny square tutorial is great. My grandmother tried teaching me how to make Granny squares when I was about 10 years old. I couldn't catch on. Grandma would be thrilled if she knew I had finally learned that and the double crochet stitch. Thank you for the awesome tutorials!!!!
That's fantastic! I'm sure your Grandma would be thrilled. Both of my grandmothers could knit. One crocheted as well. I eventually learned. Crystal is a terrific teacher! 😊
Woo hoo.... I am appreciating the use of the scale every time you use it. It shows who's giving an honest deal. Always enjoy your yarn box openings. You are like a child on Christmas morning, which always puts a smile on my face.
I'm from the UK, and you are sooooo right. We automatically say wool. It probably comes for days of old when all " yarn " was made from sheep's wool. 😊 when we had an industry .
I love that you call things as see it Crystal. I adore you for being you & doing you. For being yourself! You have taught me not just crochet...you have taught me to be myself. I've watched you over the years wade through, see and conquer fears, frustration, ridicule and invasion (and more) to find strong self acceptance. Both your own self acceptance and your true RUclips family base. I'm grateful for you. I am grateful I came across you and the BOD family when I did. I knew that I wanted to learn more about crochet. I just didn't know what else I'd learn along the way, that which I need to learn the most. Self acceptance. Crystal, thank you for being a shining light so I could find you. Keep being you! 😃💜 p.s. The yarn is beautiful.
I remember when I first learned to crochet, I think it was the late 70’s early 80’s and it was called wool. The word yarn was not used to refer to the fiber. I can’t even remember how far back the word yarn became familiar to me. Very interesting Crystal, I bet many people didn’t know that. I have “days” too. I have MS for over 20 years, then developed anxiety. Don’t ever apologize for things you have NO control over. I enjoy you, your family (fur babies too) and everything on your channels. Keep being YOU it’s what keeps me here. I come here to enjoy all you offer not pass ANY kind of judgement. No human being is perfect, including myself. Love you Crystal.❤️ I have a dog and he acts the fool plenty of times, ALL 4lbs. of him. He’s a tiny Yorkie that just turned 4. 😂🤣 I love that fleck yarn…..so pretty. You’ve gotten some pretty great yarn recently. I can’t wait to see the tutorials. I’d LOVE to get the HUGE skein of yarn. It would be a dream to not have to connect additional skeins in a project. Too many tails for me to hide.😜 That tweed is gorgeous but I’m allergic to wool AND angora. I like using chunkier yarn but it’s too warm, I live in Florida. Great video. Thank you for all you do. You bring such joy to my life. Have a wonderful weekend.🤗
My life is mailing stuff and making videos tooo 😂😂😂😂. My daughter had a tumbler made for me that says “Art , Crochet and RUclips All Day “ Along with my RUclips name ArtJunkie and a big ball of yarn with a hook through it. That pretty much says it all and I’ve never been happier 😊❤😊
Wow, Crystal, I was on the Wool Warehouse site earlier today. I have basket started. But I paused and thought I would check for a yarn review with you. So what amazing timing tonight. This will be my 1st order from them I'm so excited to get my goodies. Thank you for your insight.
Thanks for a very informative video. I belatedly want to do something special for my birthday so I'm going to use this information and purchase myself some special yarns and enough to make that herring bone fleck. This was perfect timing. I'm also ordering some puzzle yarn and put in an order for some big twist value yarns. I admire and adore you so stop apologizing for being fun and singing and happy. You make me smile and laugh. Thank you.
Crystal thanks for sharing your unboxing beautiful colors of yarn. I love your singing your laugh your smile. That red would be a beautiful cardigan. Have a great day and weekend stay warm happy crocheting.♥️
Hi Crystal, you are absolutely correct, here in the UK we do call yarn wool, its all wool no matter what it's made up of. It could be alpaca, Marino, acrylic it's all wool to us lol. Yarn is an American term over here like sidewalks and pavements same thing different word ❤
I love the scale! It's like a game... "No whammy, no whammy, ah! You got cheated of 2oz!!" Lmbo!! & I love when you're singing & "manic", I am cracking up the whole time 😂
