That brown tweed/flecked yarn is screaming to be made into a sweater 😊! I actually have found, pretty recently actually, that I fleckin' love that kind of yarn too! I've bought a blue tweed and an off white color tweed from Hobby Lobby last weekend to try my hand at either a cardigan or a sweater! Can't wait to see what you decide to make with it!! ❤❤
Crystal, I have to satisfy myself with watching you get new yarns because I am overstocked right now. I did a lot of impulse buys, and now I need to use my current supply before getting more. If I don’t, my poor husband will go crazy. He’s almost there already. 😂😂
Love the brown fleck yarn and think it would be pretty in either a blanket or a wearable, but I vote for a wearable. I also think that green is pretty, and you could pair it with that brown shade as a border or just keep it green. Stop saying you suck at color cause it's not true and everything you make is gorgeous!
My youngest child never wears matching socks, hasn't since she was old enough to pick socks! They are 31. That blanket boarder is going to be stunning! Do it Bag-O-Day, Do it!!! The brown Caron needs to be a Cardi or jacket. It would be awesome!
Wow. Beautiful. Crystal, love ur idea of the taupe/gold & speckle as a blanket. The brown flex would look amazing as caccoon sweater, perfect for office sweater!! Lovely
That Mary Maxim Purely Soft looks just like the Red Heart Hygge Yarn Cloud. I've been using the Hygge for baby blanket borders. It is heavenly soft, as you said. I adore it. Thanks again for getting me back into crochet after 50 years. :)
Red heart super saver softens up a lot in the wash. And it will last for years. The most durable yarn ever. I still have the blanket my grandmother made me 45 years ago. 🙋🏼♀️💜🇨🇦
Hi Crystal, it Kayan here. I really think that you're right about both of those colors to make the specks pop. That Brown speckle would look great as a turtleneck sweater. That teal blue is gorgeous 😍 I like Red Heart yarns. I love the way you go off on a tangent it makes you real and fun. I also like your energy and love for yarn. Out of the red, brown and latte, the latte for the border.
Hey Crystal...IMHO I would keep the green as a stand alone, it is gorgeous!! The fleckin' brown would make a beautiful cardi. You mentioned the baby dresses...I'm in the process of making your Lil Sailor dress. Two of them for my grandgirls, size 2 and size 1. It's perfect for them b/c my son just retired from the Navy. Thanks for all you do!
I’m going to be starting making the sailor dress for both of my Granddaughter’s also. The same sizes. I absolutely love ❤️ the pattern that Crystal did on her tutorial for it. It’s absolutely beautiful and will look amazing on both girls.
If I put a border on a blanket, I almost always go for the darkest colour that was used in the blanket. The Caron flecked brown would make a great garment. If you're tossing up between a blanket and a garment, maybe a ruana would be a good choice.
All of the yarns are so pretty! I’m not good with putting colors together either. Can’t wait to see what you make. Enjoying watching Gary and Juan’s channels; thanks for recommending them.
Red ❤ green with toast is beautiful. Thank you for sharing. For durability red heart can’t be beat.. I have afghans 25 and 30 years old in our camper and the kids fight over them for bon fire blankets they do soften up. Just my 2 cents ❤ Caron fleck garment is my vote Huggs
With the browns and red blanket, I would go with the dark brown border. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us! I always look forward to watching every video. ❤
I love Red Heart Yarn. ❤️ I realize that it is stiff, but for myself, I like the texture. I'm always pleased with how my projects turn out. I love yarn and use many different brands. ❤️ Thanks, Crystal, for all of your yarn content. Have a Blessed Day
Love love love the yarn Crystal. Thanks for sharing. I got some Redheart sparkling yarn in white. I'm going to make a snowman .I live snowmen, lol!Hope you make a tutorial for the tree, please!
I would make a sweater with the brown fleck. For the Red Heart Super Saver blanket, I would use the dark brown for a border. I would use a cream or ivory color yarn with the green if I was going to use another color with it. I'm sure whatever your decision is, everything will look fabulous! It always does.🤗💖
I love that yellow sparkle yarn with both those colors! And would love to see them in an afghan. Also that speckled brown is beautiful and I'd love to see it in a blanket also and I'd go with the light color in it as the border. Thank you for sharing all this with us. I love all your tutorials!
Caron's super soft, chocolate brown with a fleck .. definitely a garment .. a sweater would be so soft and snuggly for winter. ♥ Red hearts super saver you are going to use for a blanket, red and light brown with a dark brown border ♥ Love your video's so informative and the tutorials you make are inspiring ♥
Yes dark leaf and toast would be beautiful together. Yes the Mandela ombré is at Walmart for $5.97. I just bought some last night for a Christmas gift for my sister.
I think that beautiful brown flex needs to be a sweater. Omg. Beautiful. The taupe and yellow will be a beautiful border. Cannot wait to see what you make from all that gorgeous yarn ❤❤
Love those red heart yarns also. You can't go wrong with red heart. U want it to last for years use red heart. The colors never fade. And yes it does soften after washing.
Both the taupe and yellow for the border works. I'd do a small taupe and a wider yellow border. The double will set it off nicely. Flipping the colors isn't going to work because the yellow will get lost. The flecks come in tans and browns if I remember correctly. You did talk about making another herringbone hexagon sweater however... For the RHSS, I'd border it in coffee. But that's me. 😊 Yes, you can use the brown as an accent for the green. Have fun!
Thanks Crystal for sharing your unboxing all lot of beautiful colors of yarn the blue teal is so pretty blue is my favorite. I love your singing. I would use light brown for the border. You should make a cardigan with Caron Simply Soft brown it would be so beautiful. Have a great day happy crocheting.♥️
Oh Crystal, make a dreamy soft robe out of the Purely Soft yarn. Imagine a cold winter night snuggled on the sofa reading a good book wrapped in a robe made with that delicious yarn! Think about it!!
Love the dark brown with flecks. A blanket and a border with the same yarn! It is all beautiful yarn in beautiful colors and you will make lots of beautiful things with it! I love everything you make! 💕💕💕
I really like Red Heart Super Saver. I have made so many Afghans for gifts & everyone loves them & they still look as new as when I made them& they're soft too.
When you show the weight of yarn with your hand I can see the weight plus how the color looks next to your skin. It really helps see the true color of the yarn. Some yarn colors look better on your skin then in the skein.
I made a blanket for my granddaughter out of the Mandala ombré in blue. It turned out so soft and beautiful. She loves it and takes it with her always.
Just off the top of my head I'm thinking the Red Heart Super Saver Aran Fleck would make a great border for that gorgeous brown yarn, whether you decide on a blanket or some wearable like a sweater🤔❤❤
Wonderful show! My daughter in love is my color co-ordinator, she helps me choose colors that work well together; even if I didn’t think so! As I work it , she is always right!
I can't wait to see the blanket out of that Honeycomb yarn. I didn't think the 2 solid colors would work, but you do so I'm dying to see the results. I think seeing others use color combinations is never think of its very helpful. Even if it's not to my personal taste, it's inspiring and that's never a bad thing. That chocolate flecked yarn makes me want a sweater. I'm finally getting to work in the 3 blankets I started months ago since our CH kitten is bigger and doesn't require so much attention. He's determined to be independent and do things his way. I'm so behind don't think I'll be crocheting for Christmas this year. My hands need to build their tolerance back up for long hours of crochet. I love the shine on that navy yarn. That pale green yarn is screaming for Victorian rose and ecru to go with it. It's be beautiful in a rose granny square blanket. I love the feel of Mandala Ombre, I just wish they would add solid colors and more ombre options. Use white vinegar in place of liquid fabric softener, it helps set color and soften yarn.
Yes it's enough to knit a pair of socks by hand, not sure about the addi. Now I want to go buy the yarn and make some socks. Thanks for showing all that gorgeous yarn.
I like the dark brown fleck for a wearable. The Christmas yarns were beautiful. The leaf green was a great color yarn, the golden brown red heart soft was nice too. They both seemed like colors that Gary of Urban Yarn would like.
I love that blue it’s such a rich color. I say w/ the tweed do a cardigan, it will be awesome. Crystal, I could listen to you for hours so you never are long winded for me! See ya soon ❤❤gayle
12:56. I love the Caron flecked yarns. The dark brown , yes a blanket, with a border, the brown or another color is fine. As a garment , a longish cardigan sweater .
Those Christmas colors are gorgeous. Agree, candy cane, really? Lol.... the yellow caron blanket will look awesome with those colors for a border. The fleck brown would make an awesome boys/men's sweater. Have trouble seeing the dark yarns, although that navy is stunning! I think i just finished that dress you're talking about, but I made it in white, pink and gray out of merino wool and cashmere blend. Cane out awesome! Might have to check out these, the colors are beautiful. I've had Red Heart soft before, but haven't ordered any lately. Yes, the forest and brown match lovely. I have never used Mandala yarn! Amazingly enough. Those Red heart colors are amazing together, use both to border. 😊 thank you Crystal for another awesome video ....
If it isn't enough yarn to make a pair of socks, make one out of each and wear them. Life is too short to worry about matching socks! :)
Totally agree
There's enough to make ankle length "vamps" that Newfoundlanders wear as slippers all year long! I've probably made 10,000 pairs! Lol!
It's enough to make a pair of mid calf socks that will be beautiful.
I like the way you think 😉
Great tip
People write you real yukky statements they are just thoughtless.....ignore them. We are so lucky to have you do all this work for us to see.
That brown tweed/flecked yarn is screaming to be made into a sweater 😊! I actually have found, pretty recently actually, that I fleckin' love that kind of yarn too! I so agree. cannot wait to see it. I really want to get some on that yarn.
That would be a beautiful v-neck sweater. ❤ The speckled yarn.
Use the brown yarn for a shawl, like the one you did a few days ago, very large wingspan 😊
Crystal, I have to satisfy myself with watching you get new yarns because I am overstocked right now. I did a lot of impulse buys, and now I need to use my current supply before getting more. If I don’t, my poor husband will go crazy. He’s almost there already. 😂😂

The Red Heart Soft in that blue is very pretty.
Wow. Beautiful. Crystal, love ur idea of the taupe/gold & speckle as a blanket. The brown flex would look amazing as caccoon sweater, perfect for office sweater!! Lovely

The brown fleck yarn would be a beautiful knee length sweater. ❤❤❤❤❤
That green and golden autumn brown are a striking, beautiful combinatio
Non-traditional is something I flecking love about you!!
I suck at matching colors. And anything you do will be absolutely wonderful. Can't wait to make what you design!!!
Red heart super saver softens up a lot in the wash. And it will last for years. The most durable yarn ever. I still have the blanket my grandmother made me 45 years ago. 🙋🏼♀️💜🇨🇦
I love all the colors of yarn you put together . Love the red and dark brown in the main part and trim with the lighter brown . Love and Hugs .

Out of the red, brown and latte, the latte for the border.
That yellow speckle with those colors for the borders will be gorgeous!
Caron super soft brown needs to be a sweater. Love the green and brown. Looking forward to all the new tutorials from this yarn haul.😊
The green and brown go very well together. BOD talking about making blankets, is she on a mission to face her nemesis?🤣😂💕
Toast and garden definitely go together but garden is gorgeous on its own. I love that navy Nako yarn that you got! 💙🤎💚
The yellow and brown with the speckle is screaming fall sunflowers
Hey Crystal...IMHO I would keep the green as a stand alone, it is gorgeous!! The fleckin' brown would make a beautiful cardi. flecked yarns. The dark brown , yes a blanket, with a border, the brown or another color is fine. As a garment , a longish cardigan sweater .
Cardigan with the brown fleck. That would be flecking awesome!!! Maybe with a fur aspect. Ohhhhhhh pretty
You could do front post and back post double crochet first in the yellow then end with the taupe, several rows of each💕
I can see a shawl made with that dark brown fleck. Beautiful color.
Hi Crystal! I can picture a small yellow border surrounded by a broader brown border for your cream & yellow goodness afghan. Have fun! 😃💜
SC Border on the brown fleck blanket; or a brown fleck sweater with TC front/back posts border…Love your teaching!! 🫶
Wow! That sock yarn is so very beautiful!
