Elvis the Bulldog Puppy reads his mom the riot act

- Elvis gives Patches a few choice words. Elvis was an "only puppy". He was born with a cleft lip and had a permanent sneer, hence the name Elvis. My wife bottle fed him until he was on solid food. He became a very strong, energetic, and physically active Bulldog.
We gave him to a veterinary technician who always wanted a white bulldog, and she had helped treat him from birth. Everybody won with Elvis. We were blessed to have him, his new family was thrilled to get him. What he lacked in physical perfection, he made up for in personality. As you can see.

Elvis was a one pup litter and was born with a hair lip so I had to bottle feed him. The little lip sneer made us name him Elvis. Patchez our bulldog and his mom mothered him with her constant cleaning that annoyed him so bad so he would grow and bark at her. We had fun raising him and watching them together. Please share with your friends and family on your social media.
How unusual one lonesome pup plus the misfortune to been born with the hair lip, but my god what a feisty little fellow .He will grow to be a strong protective pet with a lot of personality, he's a. cutie 🐕

An angry marshmallow! ADORABLE!
Absolutely fascinating. Makes me wonder just how intelligent animals are. The mother realizes that the pup MUST move around to develop coordination and muscle growth. The heavy breathing from such movements also helps clear out the pup's lungs. So, no matter how much the pup objects, the mother persists in her job. Amazing. Such dogs are a lot smarter than some people.

My husband and I lost our Minpin/Pomeranian mix Harley about a year ago from cancer. He’s the only small dog we’ve ever owned and he left a big hole in our hearts. We haven’t been able to look at other dogs yet because the loss of Harley was a lot for both of us. Looking at this puppy and mother is making me think it’s about time we add a new member to our family. Your dogs are precious.
I am so sorry for your loss.

I know exactly what you mean. It is so difficult to get past grieving for them. Over the years we've had labradors, two doberman pinschers, and five poodles. We have loved every single one and still miss each one with their individual personalities. My husband has passed on now too. It was easier to handle the passing of the pets I still had when my husband was alive but losing each of the ones I still had was harder after he was gone. It's been several years since I lost the last one and, like you, I think it may be time to get another rescue dog. They need us the most.
@@donnahowell4864 I'm so sorry for all your losses especially your husband. I find the only thing that heals my heart is time. I've been watching some really cute videos about dogs and it's making me want to adopt again. I think I'm ready. It's been a year since the loss of our last dog but, still think of him and all the others before him all the time. They really do get into our hearts and become family. I wish you well and you'll know when the time is right to let another furbaby into your heart and life. 🙂
It will help you get over the pain you're not replacing your beloved pet but you're giving another sweet animal a chance to be happy and loved ♥️♥️♥️
It always pays to take that time to grieve. Because a new one doesn't replace, it just a joins the family and brings its own lovable traits.

Puppies usually play fight with their litter mates so actually mom was providing some vital play time. Since he was an only puppy, who else was he going to tumble with? That just leaves mom and human companions to teach him how to interact with the world. Just like humans, puppies learn by playing. She was a really good mom since she was not only cleaning her pup but also willing to play with him. Check out her play bow at 2:03. Way to go Mama Dog!

Elvis was born with a cleft lip so we had to bottle feed him and Patchez mothered him with lots of annoying cleaning which Elvis did not like hence all the growling and barking at her. It was a lot of fun to raise him and watch them play. Patchez lived to be 13 and Elvis would be around 11 now hoping he lived that long, we lost track of him after we gave him away to our vet tech when he was 9 months old. Elvis was a lone pup from our bulldog Patchez, we named him Elvis because of his little sneer hair lip that he was born with. Elvis had to be bottle fed because of his lip and could not nurse on Patchez but as you can see she cleaned him and played with him to the point of annoyance and he growled and barked at her with his funny Big attitude, but they had fun and we enjoyed raising him. Patchez lived to be 13 and we are hoping Elvis is still living but he would be 11 and that is getting up their for this breed. Elvis went to live with our vet tech when he was 9 months old and we lost track of him over the years. I am glad you enjoyed the video please check out all of them we shared they are also cute.

Thank you for letting us know what happened to these two beautiful animals.
Next he'll be slamming doors, lol
Thanks for sharing, I smiled the whole way through
Mama gave him the stare down though, then she laid her chin on him... All in all, that tells him "you don't bother me, boy" and "it's time to settle down"
I brought you in this world, I'll take you out
Just found this & awww what a good Mommy Patches is. Elvis complains, gives her hell & trying to say hes the boss however Mom gently lets him know who is the real boss is in her loving motherly way..
