Nice Fred. Now I want to get back into RC with watching your video and talking to you on IG. Make sure you use the two small shims when you mesh your ring / gear shaft for the rear differential in your RC speed runner. The shims go on the gear shaft. You might need 1 or 2 thin shims depending on how much the gear mesh is on your set-up. For all RTR's that i've worked on for friends, I would take their new cars and rebuild the differentials with the proper shimming. Change out the differential oils as well to a slightly thicker viscosity.

I love RC Cars. So much satisfaction after fixing after you break it. The aftermarket for these are very helpful also.
Good to see an update, If am not mistaken you can purchase a GearX rear diff viscous coupler that eliminates the rear dual pump inside so you don't have to pin and lock that differential and you could use that driveshaft cut down of course for your chassis. Gives you a more likely hood if you ever wanted to run an exhaust ever again, you could do so...

44:26 You might need a o ring metal shim to tighten the gear gap. I am actually a pro b main racer for carpet 8 scale buggy well use to be track closed down wish I lived in America only for RC lol, I have never felt a high that I felt from 8 scale racing on carpet.
