@@effieclare I'm not from Boston, and I always thought her character's accent seemed a little over-the-top. I think it must be intentional for comic effect because Julianne's character work has always seemed convincingly nuanced. Now that I think of it, it seems like all the women in Jack's life had some personality trait that was comically exaggerated, didn't they? I don't know. I have a friend from Boston, though, and I really love the way he talks. He comes across as really direct and genuine, whereas where I live, we have a dialect halfway between Midwestern and West Coast and it usually comes across as incredibly fake and insincere.
I adore the fact that Liz created not one but two Christmas miracles by calling in a bomb threat
"There's an old African proverb, that I made up..." I need to find the opportunity to use that line.
Al Gore is a surprisingly good actor!

I assume the manager of this channel is not a native english speeker
Pay raises are called pay rises in British English.
I love Julianne Moore but she’s leaning wayyy too hard into that Boston accent. It’s distracting!
You’re so correct. It’s so bad! As a native Bostonian I can’t tell if it’s supposed to be that bad or people actually think it’s realistic! 😂
