It’s not all about jackets. It’s about how you layer them. I have used just a layer each of thermals, a shirt and a normal 40 $ puffer jacket (from H&M) to survive -30 to -40 as daily wears in Manitoba
Irony right, Canada being a cold country should at-least have jackets and winter apparel that are reasonably priced that keep you extremely warm. But unfortunately The more warmth you want in a jacket the more bucks you have to be willing to spend ( North face, Canada Goose, Moose Knuckles etc) Otherwise prepare to freeze.
This winter I don’t have jacket yet. Good option for me and others is the Value Village Cuz I can get the north face jackets and if there any stains I can do marker over it or I can paint it. Super good idea to stay warm in the winter. I think Nike and the actual north face is out of most peoples budget so thrift stores are soo good!! ❤❤❤🥦🥦🥦
Except The North Face and Columbia, these all are stores. And The North Face has their own stores too besides their third party retailers. Winners/Marshalls, Sportcheck, Marks all are stores who sell products from different brands.
Too many students in Canada very overwhelming. My parents arrived in 70s- worked even harder but learned culture,earned English, was respectful, and didn’t dance on streets all night. Now it’s so embarrassing what some of these students are doing.
