Is it possible to build a frenzy by conducting a linked attack at full attack speed without building a battle frenzy? If it's impossible to conduct a linked attack in that state, should I use the passive method of turning off the booster and slowing down the attack to build a frenzy and turning on the booster again?

nah that's too much hassle. it's easier to stack frenzy in flora imo so you can do that
