For clarity: This is NOT meant to showcase EVERY class with these mechanics or classes that lack i-frames. You can find the classes with these mechanics on your own or ask for recommendations from people! I showcased Bucc/BM a fair bit since both lack i-frames (bucc has only fake and BM has a soft cheat death) yet they are both incredibly good at surviving in just about any boss.

I seriously think that you have the best produced MapleStory videos out of anyone else on this platform. The little care to detail that you place into even tiny things like a visual counter of how deep into a video you are keeps everything fresh, and that endcard is a wonderful idea. Great video
Really good video! If you ever do a deeper dive into s themselves, I think a really interesting point is between reactive s (ones with no startup) and preventative s (either slow to activate ones or stuff more like freud's wisdom), when bossing on my cadena the is a quick reactionary button which throws me off hard on my hero, as world reaver has a few split seconds of startup that can get you killed before the actually goes off
You really do make some of the best produced and well edited videos. It shows you put in a ton of time into making them. I particularly love your bossing guides. :D I hope you make one for Darknell soon because that guy is just hard to survive in. :D
Great video! Loved seeing all these bossing tools talked about! (Also quick shoutout to special binds too - some bind the boss for more than 10s (Kanna, etc), and some bind the boss with it's own separate bind timer (Zero)) You should do a video/guide covering all pseudo-iFrames, including Dark Sight! I think it's an interesting category with a lack of content/research, and could be very informative. The other types of pseudo-iFrames are Shell and Shelter types, which block different boss attacks. Shelter-type iFrames are also compared to Touch Cancel mechanics, because they work similarly, so Touch Cancel attacks could also be covered. Shell type skills include Bishop's Holy Magic Shell (which the category is named after), Paladin's Divine Shield, and Dual Blade's Asura's Anger. Also, everyone that completes Mushroom Shrine has access to Takeno's Blessing, which is a universal Shell, with a 30m cooldown. Being able to block one 1HKO every boss fight as an emergency button can be quite useful. (Only Bishop can give it's shell to other players.) Shelter type skills include Battle Mage's Party Shield, Shadower's Smokescreen, and Pathfinder's Obsidian Barrier. Since these all affect the entire party, it's useful to know what attacks they block. The Battle Mage server has a nice list. (Shelter is Party Shield's KMS name, which is why Shells and Shelters are how they're grouped/called.) Dark Sight I'd also put as a pseudo/conditional-iFrame, since it blocks more than just meteors and other falling objects. The Night Walker server has a great list. Each thief class has it's own unique conditions to trigger Dark Sight, so those would be really nice to cover since some classes' methods are much more complicated than others. amph did a great video covering some of these called "in-depth mechanics: anti-collision skills", so you could use that as a starting point.
I believe portals actually do bypass Lucid golems gimmick because they work as displacement rather than directional movement (I can confirm it's like this on BW's portal). It's the reason why Lucid's forced teleport through 20 golems doesn't kill you unless you literally land on a golem. Some more mechanics I want to expand on from the video: One form of defensive techs that was briefly discussed in the video is "forced movement". NW back dash is a notable example of forced movement that ignores super KB because the game forces your character to complete the full skill (it's the reason warrior rush skills and some dashes like WA and Mech's go through super KB). For example, a lot of Mercedes combo skills involve forced movement in the way it pops her up or down in the air, the forced movement allows them to ignore getting knocked back and continue the skill's intended movement. This is also why old DW's up down combo gave them super stance because of the forced movement. To further expand general movement skills, a good one to know is air momentum cancel. Everyone can momentum cancel in the air with mid-air Blink, it stops all movement and pauses you in air, even just tapping it acts as an immediate brake. Some classes can stop all air momentum at will without Blink which lets them needle through mechanics a bit better. Some examples include NW's reverse FJ (toggled), Cadena's Pursuit, Kanna's Exorcist Charm, BW's Inferno Sphere, Adele's Plummet, and Explorer Warrior's down+normal attack in the air. Having access to canceling air momentum is extremely useful for micro-movement heavy fights like Will, VHilla, Darknell, Kaling etc. And yes, I would love to see a Hero's Will video! Misunderstood and underused.
You have to be a beginner and kill low level mobs or be in a party with a beginner type character and loot it on the desired character. It can take a while sometimes!
does it matter if the beginner levels up? I've been farming the glass bottles in edelstein and gotten red and white bandanas so far but i watn the black one.@@RathGMS
Anvil's only restriction is that it match the type (hat to hat for example) and be either both unisex or be the same F/M. Unfortunately that makes things like top/bottom and overall near impossible to anvil.

I would like to appreciate the small raccoon moving along with the time. Truly a under appreciated channel
That small raccoon is just genius. Never have seen that idea ever before in other videos.

You should definitely do a dark sight guide - as a Khali main I just was trying to figure out what I could all dark sight

Your videos are so high quality my dude! Very refreshing to see
Great video bud! Keep them coming!! Waiting on the ctene guide ❤️
Bro your content is sooooo clean and i really loved that raccoon at the bottom to tell me the time of the video

How about blasters, Cadenas and Aran? I rmb them having some sort of air mobility or skill cancellation irc
Really nice video, I have probably survived alot of situations thanks to will of steel, and hadn't even realized it😳
Love your videos
very informational!
This whole time I thought Dark Sight only prevents touch damage and not any other type of damage.
There's one more thing that can help make bosses easier.
Having better hands
Rath content is good content!
Blaster has dedicated and fake s, %hp reduction, healing, mobility tools, and superstance!
buff phantom
Great video. Tnx
Super stance has a name its called knockdown resistance
Subarashiii!
where did you farm your black bandanas? Only bandana i know is the white bandana from lith harbour.

doesnt matter on lvl of begginer, we farmed blue snails for them, got yellow, blue, red, black and white@@TheStevedoubleU
Congrats on the HDark solo! Are you planning on soloing BM as a clear as well?
Everything in time! I'm pure solo progression so Black Mage may or may not take a bit.
Good luck! I broke solo prog for BM, but I'm looking to pre-lib solo him.
How did you anvil a thief hat on a dawn warrior?
Anvil's only restriction is that it match the type (hat to hat for example) and be either both unisex or be the same F/M. Unfortunately that makes things like top/bottom and overall near impossible to anvil.
Please, a heros will video, clearly I'm the dumb one cause I never use it.. Like it's not even in my keybinds on any char other than my main
Buff dB
bros trying to content farm. really trying to put teleport and other in-game mechanics as bossing "tools/tips"
