Saw these guys about 10 years ago when they opened for Stone Sour, Hollywood Undead and Avenged Sevenfold. Had no idea who they were before the show, and they absolutely blew me away. Being the opener, this is technically the first band I ever saw live.
Still revisit this album every now and then.

Like any lazy rock fan arrived at Carnival of Madness in Chicago yesterday late and missed half their set, caught this song and redeemed the fact that Chevelle and Evanescence got rained out and now i'm hooked!

no shit. actually, i believe they really were riding in an old convertible ford, driving on a street made of fire, swinging chains over the windshield, all the while helicopters are bursting into flames in the distant sky. meanwhile, hookers are shooting automatic miniature weapons single handed and Jake's Harley really does spit flame out the exhaust pipe. whats really incredible is while all that was going on they never missed a beat or got thirsty playing in the middle of that desert highway.
This is more rock than I've heard in a while,rock&roll,metal,and even a little rap are blended well in this song and video.When you look at it this is almost the persona of rebellion,self personification,freedom,and saying what the fuck you want,nickleback may be classified in the rock genera but true rock shouldn't fit in any one specific genera
