  • Hi!
    No music. No talking. Just work.
    If you are taking your HP MINI 110 laptop apart be careful and wear an anti-static wrist band or use other anti-static device. If you need to change a LCD usually you don't have to take screen out of a laptop. You can leave it on a laptop and watch the last part of the video where I am taking LCD apart. If you need to change a keyboard, you don't have to take all bottom screws out. There are usually some marks, like a keyboard picture, on a case bottom. If you need to put a laptop back to work be aware of screws. They are different and you better remember or mark them somehow to insure that you will put them back in to a right place.
    Some laptops I take apart first time, so don't be serious on my time and performance.
    If something got broken - ooops, it's your fault.
    Believe me, some parts in your laptop are already broken, you just don't see that.
    This video is like insurance for your laptop. With this video and some skills you will be always sure that at least you can try to repair your laptop. If it's broken you don't have to sell it or throw it away. You can find some new or used parts somewhere and change it. It maybe will be your new job or hobby. And if it didn't worked out you still will be able to ask somebody else to fix it.
    So, just watch this video and fix your laptop.
    Have fun and good luck!!

    I had to change a hard drive, couldn't figure out how to access it. Thanks to your demonstration I had it done in minutes! Thanks!

    This was the first laptop I disassembled to learn how it's done and for practice. The screen was broken and wasn't worth fixing it since I could buy a used laptop with similar specifications in excellent condition for the same price I'd pay to have it fixed, so I had fun taking it apart. RIP my good HP mini 110...

    One more minute and I would have destroyed the integrity of my HP mini. Thanks for the video.

    Thank you. I just wanted to get the HDD out before disposal. Couldn't for the life of me figure out where the 4 screws were, which turned out to be under the rubber feet in the first minute of this vid! :-). But then of course, all I needed to do was pry out the keyboard, and I had already found those screws behind the battery.

    DO NOT pull the keyboard off like he does in this video. I almost permanently fucked up some buttons on the keyboard doing it this way. Pry the keyboard off by pushing up on the two metal pieces where the 2 screws were directly under the screen. Other than that, great video.

    • @regazzz
      @regazzz  4 года назад

      I guess, fan is there if there will be heat. Maybe someone will watch some high def video or play some simple games...

    • @redariahi5377
      @redariahi5377 4 года назад

      @@regazzz usually for a fan to cool down the heat on the cpu it need to have a heat sink or heat pipe connected to it , but in this scenario there is only a fan blowing air on the open
      like a case fan
      and it's pointless

    • @adinovv4412
      @adinovv4412 3 года назад

      @@redariahi5377 not really useless,, i think its main purpose to make air flow,,,it blow the warm air out from system,, and cool air will get sucked from the bottom,, but i tried powering this notebook without fan in it still working fine and temperature monitoring show around 29-34°C (but casing in opened condition lol)
      the heat pipe does not needed for this kind processor (intel atom if im not mistaken? ) since it doesn't make too much heat,, but air circulation still important for the system, so here comes the fan

    That is NOT how a professional pops up a keyboard. Where's your spudgers for a start. Can tell just by your layout and movements you are heavy handed.

    This is very kind of you to show this. The hard drive in mine is stuck in a loop. It loads windows and stops. It Tries to repair under windows repair and i left on for hours and it does not repair. It says "A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer" "Unmountable _Boot_Volume" On self test it says Primary Hard Disk Test Finished : Failed Test Status 7 Completed with the read element Test Failed"
