I couldn't get the solder to stick.

After I couldn't get the solder to stick where I needed it I went and bought a better quality electric gun and still couldn't get it then I remembered I had a propane torch with a soldering attachment out and I got it that way. I guess my electric soldering iron just wasn't getting the brass hot enough.. Thanks a million for the video though. I wouldn't have even known where to start without it.
