Hi, Emily! So good to have you here!! 😍😍 We can’t wait to get that one out!! Your dad’s Birch Cabin was definitely a joy to stay in and to film! Lots and lots of love! 😍😍
Aquila is so cool. The animals are in the wild, it's not a zoo. And it is so accessible from Cape Town. We here in Cape Town have several Big Five reserves within easy reach, all free of malaria. Eland is a beautiful, timid antelope. Hippos are scary; they kill the most people in Africa. Them rhinos actually are battle unicorns. Look again 😂. Zeb-ra isn't a zeebra, btw 😊
Interesting to know! Thank you for your informative comment! Here in North America we call it a zeebra, but in Brazil, where I’m from, we also call it ze-bra 😂
Great video! How would you compare Addo to Aquila? If you had time to do either, but only chose one ......which would you visit and why. Also, do you know if Malaria is a concern in Addo?
Thank you! We liked both Aquila and Addo, but by far, Addo was a much more real safari experience to us. Although the animals at Aquila are wild and free to roam and hunt, they’re still fed by the staff so they know always show up in the same spots. Addo is different… it’s a huge reserve where the animals HAVE to hunt for their survival PLUS you get to drive your own car if you want to. Driving was a big thing for us and added to the excitement. Also, as the animals are completely wild, you never know what you can find - we saw no lions in Addo and that’s fine for us. I would say: Try both reserves and see what you think. We would do Addo again in a blink of an eye 😃 Addo is more far out than Aquila, tho. About Malaria, we don’t know think either areas are affected, but just check to make sure 😉
Yay can't wait for the next one with my dad's Birch Cabin 😍 been loving your South African tours, thank you

Incredible, I liked to watch this safari per your eyes.
