Hi guys, welcome to my art channel and thanks for being here ❤️
Pillow/Base:
British Paints (brand name) house paint, low sheen with nothing added.
Faux Pillow:
Instead of buying a separate blue house pillow, I make up some Boomgel Stain with my usual pouring medium (Taubmans Doors & Trims, neutral in gloss finish) and Jo Sonja Gloss Varnish. I have never mixed boomgel with a pm before so not sure how it will react! Edit It dried perfectly!

Art Alchemy Metallique Mermaid Teal
Art Alchemy Opal Magic Teal/Pink
I bought these paints in Australia from craftydivas.com.au/ I know they're available in other countries also.
Golden Iridescent Bright Gold
My pigments and tube paints are mixed with untinted (neutral) gloss house paint (water based) and Jo Sonja gloss varnish. In some countries you may need 'Deep Base' you're looking for one without any (or a very small amount) of titanium white, or it will make your colours pastel.

Cell Activators:
Atelier Rich Gold
Atelier Tinting Pearl Titanium White mixed with a large blob of Atelier Titanium White
These were both mixed only with Australian Floetrol, approx 2 - 2.5 parts to 1 part of paint.

My lazy susan is glass and 20'' which was purchased from Coles supermarket, they can also be sourced from variety/dollar stores and on Amazon. The heavier the spinner, the easier it will spin, I'd also suggest you get the largest one you can so you can easily use it for larger substrates too. I have a 24'' (60cm) wood round placed on top of my lazy susan.
My metal spatulas are artist palette knives, they can all be purchased from fluid-art.co/

You said you wanted to make a mermaid's tail, well my dear, you did it. 😉 That is brilliant. 👏 👌 The colors you used are perfect for this painting. Now that you have inspired me again, as usual, I need to get those colors!! What boggles my mind is that you don't use any silicone yet you get the most incredible cells every time. I know you took it and recommended the Sheleeart class, but you have gone beyond that. I would like to learn your technique. It would be awesome if you did a video of you, from beginning to the end, showing how you choose your paints and canvas to begin with all the way to varnish or resin your artwork. I and I'm sure many, many other people would love to see how your process goes from start to finish. Just a thought from someone that loves your art. Thank you very much! 😀💙 I don't resin, as don't have a safe area away from everyone. I use spray varnish, but only apply once I've sold a piece and the buyer chooses satin or gloss. I actually dream up colours and what I hope to create in bed instead of sleeping 😂🤣

Love it, two thumbs up,gorgeous colours . I live in the Netherlands and never know what to buy fir the pillow. the only housepaint i know is wallpaint and that is just normal latex which is always mat. Could you please tell me what i should use exactly ? Thanks
Thank you 😀💙 I use normal wall paint that is an eggshell finish. Are you sure all your wall paint is matte? Usually it comes in a variety of finishes, silk, satin, eggshell, semi-gloss and gloss? I don't know of anyone who lives in The Netherlands, however, Chris Glatie lives in Germany he may have access to some you might be able to purchase? He's got a RUclips channel but you'll need to scroll through his older videos as lately he's been doing more resin work 😊

gorgeous, can i ask why u use all this housepaints & mix pigments with housepaints, can we not just use acrylic paints that we use for pouring?
Thank you 😀💙 It's the Sheleeart bloom technique recipe. Shelee found that by using this ingredients it created cells and lacing without any need for silicone oil. I do use acrylic paints as well as pigments
