One of THE most talented, blessed, music artists in the business. He has a unique and beautiful style.
I've been a classic rock fan all my life, I recently started listening to Crowder, he's taking place of the secular music I've has in my life for 50 + years, praise God for his music
Hit like if you clicked on this because you thought maybe this was Steven Crowder wearing a beard.
That would be hilarious! I didn’t but just because I grew up listening to Crowder
yes the Steven Crowder who treated his pregnant wife like shit
@@aliassmithandjones9453 No the Steven Crowder who was recovering from heart surgery and had a wife who STARTED a fight so she coulod record it. She is a piece of trash.
Exactly what I was thinking... 🤣
Got me.
Man did I need to hear this right now. I'm going through a rough time and I've been praying for God to help me out of it when I need to be praying for God to help me through it. Thank you
If yall didn’t know, when he says he just started out trying to help a church, he started leading worship at a church in Texarkana. And it all took off from there.
My oldest grandson is almost 28 and he has down syndrome. His favorite Christian artist is Crowder. When he comes to visit we put crowded music on and we worship and we dance.
I think his brain must go 90 miles an hour! He is almost on genius level when it comes to writing amazing songs and compiling them into musical works of art.
It isn't often that I am glued to an interview, but I was glued to this one, excellent interview with an amazing Christian artist.
Yearning for our forever home. 🙏🏻💙
Love Crowder even more after seeing this video. Great interview - thank you!
I'm 66 and when I was fostered in Denver at 15. My friends and I use to go to Red rocks every Friday night and climb up to the cave above the amphitheater, it was a great summer! I went back a couple of years ago and it was all fenced in....made me sad. On my bucket list is to see Jeremy Camp play there if he ever goes back there.
Crowder, you have such an amazing testimony and walk with The Lord. God Bless you and yours. ❤
And this land is getting stranger by the moment!!!
I’m glad I took the time to click and watch this video. I love the way he explained Exile, gave me chills. I remember seeing The David Crowder Band years ago at Spirit West Coast in Monterey, CA. Glad he is doing well…❤️🙏🏽😊
I had the same feeling... God bless.
My church in Houston… cy-fair Christian church…. Got Crowder to play a concert at our church right before he got really big. The next year I was so bummed he wasn’t doing the concert again that year and our worship leader said he got too expensive super fast. So glad I got to see him at least once and so glad he made it big!
Crowder, my favorite gospel singer. Keeping it real.
Also a huge Crowder fan. So raw and real.
I've been a Crowder fan since the mid 90's. The CCM industry has seen so much change in the last 2 decades. Yet Crowder always stays current in his song writing, music technology, and style.
Amen. So creative.
Crowder band’s first song was in 2002. When did he start??
@@johnzimmerman6516I've been aware of him since the late 90s. He had the David Crowder Band and I know they came my region performing at an area church. That is how i first heard of him before his music hit the radio. CDs were around and some of their music was starting to get popular in churches before they hit it bigger and then later he became just Crowder. His style has evolved some and I really like a lot of his newer stuff. Whatever he's done, he's always been current.
I really need to listen to this guy. Unfortunately most of the music on stations like K-Love just sound like manufactured processed formulaic music-it's like the same five guys in Nashville are Now writing all of the CCM songs! Seriously, I cannot tell the difference between any of the top 10 CCM songs!
He has such a diverse musical spectrum. Last Christmas I discovered his Milk and Cookies:A Merry Crowder Christmas. The Elf Song is hilarious. My first love is his Christian music, but that album is fun.🎉
Exile is great and the song “ Rinsed in The Blood “ , chorus is like Sami yoihku , their traditional songs (people in north Finland) . Your lyrics are awesome , they speak powerful, I love them
Love my brother Crowder
A great interview with a great artist. Thank you. I understand exile and it was communicated very well.
Love Crowder. And yes we are waiting to go home.
LOVE his music.
Glory. God's all in. What God's all in us for. Glory. Can't be measured. Glory to you, Lord. 🕊
I love Crowder! When I saw him it was like the whole atmosphere changed!
Love Crowder, Love this interview, Exile Album is powerful and powerful message in every song.
I met David Crowder at Chick-fil-A one day outside of New Orleans 💕 such a nice guy!
Wow 🤩 excellent!! Thank you! 🙏💕🙏
I was just thinking the other day “I wonder when they’ll have crowder on sometime.” Great interview 🤘
Love Crowder’s music! 💪🏼👍🏼
HAH!! Love the beard talk. About 7 years ago my wife started talking about "what do you think about the scruffy look?" I was hesitant. A couple of weeks later I took the beard down to stubble. When my wife saw it she said "Why did you do that?!" I replied "You told me to." She said "But I didn't know it would look like that." OUCH!!!! (that was my face.)
Crowder is amazing!
I caught the exogul misspeak. The force is strong with crowder!
Even so come Lord Jesus come! Exile, right on!
We loved getting to see you at Red Rocks with Matt Maher and Third Day. That was one of my favorite concert nights. Red Rocks (IMHO) is the best concert venue around!!
Wow, that must have been an AMAZING concert
I really enjoy Dave Crowders music. A unique style. Please pray for one another
I had the opportunity to enjoy one of his concerts in Columbia SC years ago. He was with a few other artists. When they left and people were leaving, a good crowd of us stayed and he came rolling back out. He stated for another 30-45 minutes. The greatest things is he was playing different instruments like Sax-A-Boom.
❤Crowder!
I thought I was been presented by youtube, somebody explaining his actual exile.... lol.
First time seeing this channel... first time seeing this brother Crowder. But just knowing He's playing Christian Music is great to hear! Thank you RUclips! Thank you Crowder
My favorite song off of the new album is Truth Be Told. There definitely is a broken branch on the Tree of Life.
🙏🏽😊
aBED-Nego. Not Abendigo 😂😂
I thought James Hatfield was interviewing David!
What’s with the John the Baptist look?
49k views and counting. some exile.
Where is Gavin at
He’s touring with Bush
Crowder is the Real Deal.
Wally, I thought you looked great sans beard. First time I saw your
earring!
Lookin a little shaggy Crowdy
NAR?
Is the co-host wearing a Keith Whitley t-shirt?
worked a couple shows for him, he was grouchy and very drunk...but on the road, everyone has bad days, that's just part of life. didnt make me hate him or his music, just wouldnt recommend a friend work for him. God bless him and everything he does for the kingdom.
Drunks aren’t doing anything for God’s kingdom. I love Crowder. I hate reading that. I’ve had a lot of Problems since 1974, but after I matured as a Christian after after the first few years, I never got drunk. I never drank alcohol. I never smoked dope. I think Crowder has been saved a little bit longer than a few years.
I'll take "Things that never happened for $800".
@@txag lol. not this time. but thats cool. didnt say i ran the show lol. just pushed boxes. and a drunk guy at a christian show isnt hard to spot 🤷🏻♂😂
@@610steve Prove what you said happened. 👂
I thought he actually got exiled from his country. That’s what I thought I was going to hear about🤦♂️
I took literally too! lol!
Don’t sell out for no one! The world is not worth it…
God's people, Israel, are still in exile. We are His people. We are Israel. (If you are in Covenant with the God of Israel)
I miss BWhack
I REPORTED IT .
I've seen a concert at the Ryman and it kind of stinks. Unless you are in the front, the obstructive view is really not good.
Ok I'm ua5q1
Stephen Crowder went off the precipice after his divorce. He looks legit terminally sick. I don't watch him anymore, apparently there is a good reason...looking at him.
You talking about ole boy in this video? This is David Crowder, Christian song artist. Different guy.
last stuff is bland.
Great clickbait 😅
I would never sign a contract with any music company. David, a show. Not worshipping. They make money. Period!
Is there a scripture reference for God having a problem with a record deal? Pastors make money. The priests of the old testament were provided for. Sure there is potential to let it go to your head, but you can make that claim about any job a Christian might be successful in. If a Christian can be a home builder and make good money, why can't a Christian write songs and make good money?
@@joemonroe9963 , I was speaking for myself. I personally know the tug for recognition. I avoid it. It's not about being payed for it, it's about how the root is. Being rooted in Christ is the goal. I stopped making money about 7 years ago and had to find that my value was in that and not being a man of God. He then took me and showed me how He can take care of someone. Pastors should see something similar, their job shouldn't be pastoral, it should be service. God sees the service unto Him and rewards him accordingly and that may mean financially. When a pastor gets paid, he opens the door to the government control and the congregation has dominion over him. Then, he must perform and if he doesn't, they let him go. The congregation ends up worshipping the pastoral efforts instead of the One that truly pays us. When covid shut the world's pastors down, I finally understood this truth. They shut the door's. The needs of the people get met by God, cause they depend on Him and His sovereign love. Hope that helps clarify things. I'm not against taking money but we better be darn sure it's coming from God and not man. I live this. I'm free to preach to the masses without someone telling me I can or can't do this or that. My freedom is in Christ the Living God. Tell me you can do that without consequences?
David’s music is far more scriptural and Christ-like than your self-righteousness.
@@tamstutz921 thanks for responding so nicely. My guess is you're not a believer? David wiggled like a fish when he had to explain his contract. That's one reason I'd never do it. He was extremely uncomfortable with it. I simply read his body language. Me may be good in that world but what do record people do in the music 🎶 industry? Ever hear the term, I sold my soul to the devil? Yeah, you wouldn't think that possible here but I feel it is. No contracts for worship. That's a matter of God and getting paid to do it simply wouldn't work for Me. It would be a show and I have to entertain instead of worship. I hope you can rest now cause I'm not a bad person at all. I personally don't care what he sings, he can do whatever he wants. I'm saying for me. I wouldn't cause it would feel like a show, cheap like. Taking the Spirit away. Replacing it with a feeling. Yeah! That!
@@ranman58635 You respond by denying my faith? Luke 9:49-50
DROP THE HAT, GLASSES, THE BEARD AND SHIRT...IT IS REALLY DATED BRO!!!
EXACTLY why he should keep it! LET HIM HAVE HIS OWN STYLE
Great voice, very talented, terrible theology.
He sings about himself. He's the center of his worship.
“Oh Praise my soul”…. Explain that verse to me
There is a very old, respected hymn with the lyrics, “Oh praise, my soul, the King of heaven…” I assume it comes from the Psalms of David. It’s the same as saying praise the King of heaven, my soul.
@@kathygreer2097 The problem with that theory is, the entire song is about him. It's self-centered. Everything is about what I get, and what God does for me and "praise my soul" mixed in.
It's a terrible song, sung beautifully.
It is a good thing that worshipping God is not about beards, being cool, record deals etc.
Just another fake Christian artist with no real conviction. It's an industry not a ministry.
