He speaks their language. When we stand up, unafraid, unashamed and tell others our story like Mr. Deford individuals tend to relate and understand. Leading to what made the difference? Allowing for those that believe to share that when we attempt to make change on our own we fall hard and keep messing up. The answer is Jesus and when we put our trust in him our old man and ways might not disappear right away but when it's all left in Jesus's hands old thing and ways become new.

I’m not a religious person, but I feel like if there was a person doing “the lord’s work” it most certainly is Jelly!! I’ve been a fan of his for 5-6 years now at least. Came across his song Train Tracks on RUclips and I was hooked. There is no one right now that deserves their flowers and their success more than this man. He is an amazing human being, period!! More people like Jelly and this world would be a much better place. Love this man!!

Thanks jelly. I wish someone like you woulda come chat to me when I did my time in juvenile. Even tho those times hardened me up and made me tougher, I will never get back the kid I was. The dreamer was lost forever. It’s our job to teach these kids there is a better way forward and set the example. Hopefully they don’t go through what we went through. I rather them make dreams come true.

      Fair enough.
Have you ever heard ANY of his songs?
We all listen to different music, and we all feel our own way.
I am not articulate. Maybe 7:21 you tried his music, but you didn't care for it. I totally get it, but I encourage you to listen to a few of his songs.
SAVE ME spoke to me, but definitely wouldn't for everyone.
      I am speaking respectfully.
Maybe someone in your life might need it.
I'm so incredibly sorry for rambling.
      Thanks for listening.

This man didn't have to take time out of his busy schedule to do this. I appreciate Mr. Jelly Roll for his loyalty and love for kids and change. I learned about him from my son, who listens to his music. What an inspiration keep up the great work sir.

I remember as a teen being in a place like this and we would have to listen to a speech like this every so often. You could always tell if the person was being paid to speak, or was motivated to speak. You could just feel it in the air. JellyRoll was there because he was motivated. Not by money, not by attention, but motivated by the possibility he could make a change in those kids lives. They know that too. Even "funny man" knows Jelly came becaus he cares. Shout out to JellyRoll for bein a real one, and best luck, wishes and blessings to those juveniles 💯

I'm so impressed with Jelly Roll. He never forgets where he came from. What a kind and caring person. Wow. Thank you Jelly for speaking for Indiana youth, I never went through any of this and am thankful for great parents and love. I respect and understand all these kids, I didn't do the walk but man can I do the talk. I've done some things I'm not proud of but my brother was in and out of facilities all his life. I understand the love these kids need and want to teach kids in NEED of history and fall in love with something. I am thankful for your speech and want to follow in your footsteps of teaching kids PASSION. These kids have much more love and endeavors than a regular kid just not set up for success. I want to make that change take their mind off of the bad and set them in a direction where education and love can make their life complete. READING can help, history or not it's just wanting to show them my passions and hopefully, it brings their passion to light. God Bless.
