- Welcome back to the Channel and the newest video. Today is a mixed video. One will be posted specifically for the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado Black Essentials badges install and removal. This will cover all models, silverado 1500, silverado 2500 HD, silverado 3500 HD and so on. That being said, this will also be for overall and general emblem or decal removal for all cars and trucks. I will also provide links below where to find the tools and how to use them. After all the years of trying all the other tricks, this is the easiest way and most cost effective and time saving I’ve ever seen. This will also help prevent and or lessen any damage through the removal process.

Got the emblems saved in my cart on the chevy website. When i get back from St. Augustine next week i am gonna order them. We have the same truck.
awesome video. I’m trying to figure out on the 2023 models. If you can replace the front grill that says the word Chevrolet back to a good looking original bowtie instead of the word Chevrolet.

Black soooo much better in a red truck. My Sports Edition came with black emblems.
I removed the chrome Z71 badges and put black/red ones on.
Installed a 6.6L L8T in red and stuck those on the black plastic hood inserts.
Now go get yourself some red recovery hooks!

Hi please check your window sticker and see if your truck came with the black essential package. If it does please contact your dealer since that package includes the black name plates you just worked on. This happened to us and our dealer was able to correct their mistake and installed the black name plates and removed the chrome ones.
I appreciate that. It did come with it. But they didn't show up with the truck. They did install the front and rear ones but they marred the grill when doing it, so I requested they give them to me and once they came in installed them so I didn't have to worry about them marring.
Great video. Thank you! I plan on doing this to my truck when it arrives. I'm told it should be at the dealer in a couple of weeks. Do you know how easy/difficult it would be to change out the Gold Bow Tie to a Black Bow Tie on the 2024's?
It's pretty easy on the tailgate...the grill will be easier if you remove the upper cover to reach the clips.. if you want to go cheaper, o e could just overlay it with black vinyl

Have you used the off brand amazon ones before and if so how's the quality compared to the stock ones?
I ordered some but never ended up installing them. With that being said in hand the quality is A1 i cant speak for how sticky they are though.
I heard a comment in this video about availability of the 6.6L hood emblems. Any idea where I can find the “Allison Transmission 6.6L” emblem in black?

Amazon has several versions but none all black that I can find. I’ve found black blue and black red.
Any suggestions to door emblems that are crooked from factory?
That I would see if the dealer would warranty and replace that. They should be level. If they don't, you can remove them, but they are basically one time use, and you can get them on the Zahn, for about half. But if it's still under warranty, push the dealer for free replacement.
Where did get the black bowties
Those came from chevy and were put on at the dealer. They are separate from the kit I showed today....the bow ties are really cool.
