Rae and Ghost feeling the pressure due to BIGGIE "One More Chance (Remix)" being played on the radio. Видеоклипы
They went from being enemies to being homies for life
Thats how most friendships start off to be honest…
The best type of friendships start like that us men are simple beings 🤣🤣
My best friend of 32 years now met on a school bus in middle school about to scrap. We both stepped up and ended up both busting out laughing after locking eyes squared up.
He was new in town and I was too.
Ended up staying with him at his mama’s crib that night.
Been my A1 since day one.
Real recognize real.
Facts still mad wu tang show is over my favorite duo Raekwon and ghostface
This beef never happened. RZA just likes to tell stories smh.
We're witnessing the birth of the Purple Tape!
Them raekon sneakers go hard as hell too
They couldn't front... Biggie owned the summer of '95... until Rae & Ghost came out in Aug with the Purple Tape.
I remembered when I bought the Purple Tape in ‘95 when it dropped, bumping it in my homeboy Jeep Cherokee, driving to Willowbrook mall on FM 1960
True 👍
Damn I wish grew up around this era in New York.
@@38tonystarks Houston represent! Willowbrook is the bomb
@@djproductions1003 is Willowbrook mall still the spot or did it turn into Sharpstown mall?
And after that, "Ice Cream" had the '95 Summer Wave..
1995 was a wild time in Hip hop!
The 90s was a wild time in general. I miss it. 😂
That's an understatement...
Best Year Ever for Hip Hop
@@diesel101rawfacts out of all the years I always seem to go back to 1995 so many great hip hop albums that came out.
@@spiritualNaz 💯💯🎯🎯
Soon as I saw this scene my mind went 2 Sharks skit then the Criminology sample dropped
Watching this series gives me chills. This is real authentic hip hop and a blueprint for the future generations
This is what the Get Down was trying to be.
@@prizzle9234 The Get Down should’ve had a part 3! It wasn’t right that show ended the way it did 💯! It was too good
@@prizzle9234 The Get Down was one of the greatest depictions of black culture ever created. Most authentic. They always cancel anything that has to do with our culture being shown in an authentic light. There was another series on VH1 a few years ago that was great as well called “The Breaks” they canceled it after one season.
Same here
@@aaroniic I really, reallllllllly wanted them to finish The Get Down.
I never would've guessed that Ghostface was going to have the most romantic arc on TV. I wish I had a girl like that
I’m telling you man..When you get that girl? Don’t let her go man..I honestly wished them two was together today cause she was very supportive for Ghostface especially with taking care of her brothers when his moms drown in the tub 🛀

Nah fr she was on super groupie timing😂😂😂
I mean she’s a female 😂! She ain’t gonna keep listening to her man’s shit all the time 🤣! I can dig that cause my girl don’t listen to my shit like that neither! It don’t mean she doesn’t love me any less! Women like different shit different trends
@@91Definite It’s not even the fact that you bumping other niggas, it’s the fact that you bumping our direct competition, if I’m correct Wu and Bad Boy had a slight lil beef cause ghost said on a skit that Biggie bit nas’ album cover cause nas had a child on his first then biggie had a child on his afterwards
@@isaiahthompson6536 I mean true I get that! But the girl wasn’t with that shit, she wasn’t a rapper so it doesn’t effect her like Ghost and Wu.
cmon in the 90s every girl was probably singing 1 more chance biggie give me 1 more chance she was feeling it.
The most Powerful moment in Television 📺 This dead gave me chills
Yo the same...I mentally went back to 95 as a teen...yea I had got goosebumps
Swear 2 God I jumped n the car & put on Criminology & rode the strip
Ghost face killah character definitely embodies him more so far this season and the chefs
Its the opposite
The last episode he was the most spot on he’s ever been for sure
Nah Rae is character is a little spooky how he’s acting just like Rae
Facts to me they both killed these roles even rza damn I missed this show
I'm in Chicago and I remember when I first heard this biggie smalls song. I walked outside around 1pm and every car passing was playing it.
Facts!!!!
It was the smoothest rap song i ever heard when i heard it. Still can't get enough of it. From Nigeria
CHI-TOWN🥂
Damn. Going to the Wu store and seeing Ghostface and Raekwon outside would be pretty cool.
That ending was fire…
Rae and Ghost are like twins
Those jackets r fire
Talk about a positive mindset with a bank robbers mentality! That’s true ambition and motivation all in one!!! That’s one of the dopest scenes in this series!
gave me chills. i heard that beat and yelled. OB4CL changed my life.
This scene has me hyped af
They did a good job playing Ra and ghost, one of my favorite parts
That last part got watched over and over and over! Wutang again ! Ah yeah again and again!
That was the start of the Criminology Style.
Those jackets are fire 🔥
That's what I'm sayin
This was a Hypnotized with Hate moment that turned out good
😂😂😂😂😂
😌 I'm 43 now and I must've bought OB4CL at least 5 to 6 times on cassette, cd, and wax starting with the infamous "purple tape" at 14 years old. Rae & Ghost were so ahead of their time on that album (the whole Clan was) because the album doesn't sound outdated. In 2023 it still sounds as fresh and as relevant than any other album in hip-hop...it's damn near a masterpiece in terms of creativity in story telling, skill in rhyme between Rae, Ghost, other Clan members, and featured guest like Nas, not to mention production by the RZA. The Wu-Tang Clan (R.I.P. Ol' Dirty Bastard) is undoubtedly the BEST hip-hop group that has ever influenced the culture and graced the microphone and that's saying something considering RUN-DMC (R.I.P. Jam Master Jay), Ultramagnetic MCs, Tribe (R.I.P. Phife), De La (R.I.P. Trugoy), N.W.A (R.I.P. Eazy-E), Gangstarr (R.I.P. Guru), Mobb Deep (R.I.P. Prodigy), Cypress Hill, Souls of Mischief, The Alkaholiks, Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth, The Juice Crew (R.I.P. Biz Markie), EPMD and the Hit/Def Squad, The Boot Camp Click (R.I.P. Ruck/Sean Price), The Dungeon Family, UGK (R.I.P. Pimp C), were/are all great groups of the late 80s throughout the 90s of the "Golden Era".
👐 *u*
Thanks for this!!
Man this is why I miss the 90s. The 90s was a dope era but,? A lot competition on who got the best albums who got best bars
The best scene in that episode 👍🏽 Blackman & Robbin 😏
Best scene of the whole series next 2 the Staten Island Ferry scene when they formed with Reunited playing
I remember when all this was going on biggie , jay z and nas and ghost & rae fighting for that crown 👑 throwing shots at each other in their songs

BEWARE THE COMING OF THE LEGENDARY PURPLE TAPE!!!

Can't imagine listening to a radio station that replays the same songs every hour...oh wait 😂😂😂
I remember the time as well. This had to be the spring of ninety five. I was fifteen. The Source had it advertised that Raekwon album was titled Only Made 4 Cuban Links. Before the title was rearranged some. Tupac was locked up in Clinton Correction (a rikers island wing). And Biggie Smalls, in less than a year since the release of his debut album, was KING 👑
Dopest show
They was super hatin lmao
Hell Yeah ! 🎉
Best Rap Duo!
good build up , hopefully the making of ice cream pops up cause they made a ladies hit with that one
don't get me wrong it was still a good ep , just hoped it was like what really happened inside the studio
i love it i absolutely love it as a fan and as a man who really was in them trenches fighting for a crown.
Before you could just hear any song in your car any time you wanted to via music apps/bluetooth radio: You had to call in and request. When the One More Chance remix came out. It was just like this. Every car was bumping that chit all day every day and that's just from radio play let alone when the tape/CD came out.
Big👑
they got the same jackets from heaven and hell video
Lol puffy like yea yea
😂😂😂😂😂😂👊💥💯
Girl that play Ghost girl is beautiful
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
As much as I respect the Wu I feel the same. Rap is about balance. You can't be super conscious 24/7 you can actually enjoy yourself. Who else remembers the skit Only built 4 Cuban Links where they said Big was biting Nas Illmatic cover lol this was a well written scene.n
YOU can't be conscious 24/7 but don't speak for the Gods this ain't a weekend retreat you either live it or you don't.
they should fo shown when meth and biggie did their colab on ready to die
They were straight gs in that ep
This when them niggas started to hate on Biggie 😂
I use to wonder why the mad rapper sounded like Rae on biggie’s album now I know why lol wow…..
They look like Grove street boys in the thumbnail. 😂
She trying her man I see…. Ain’t no way I’d disrespect my man like that.
Fa sho Ma. You're one of the jewels I bet
Wu wear was not open when One More Chance came out. Wu wear opened up summer 97. One More Chance came out 95.
Yep
did they use”fire” like that back then?
nope
Imagine if Pac or Biggie wanted to collab with Wu
She's fine.
From Enemies to like being Bros.
Only Built 4 Cuban Linx got next baby!
Imagine Rae and Ghost reaction when 2Pac vs Biggie beef getting out of hand.
I Loved how rae and ghost relationship blossomed since they were beefing at first
Them on the couch watching The Killer
Ice Cream baby🎉
Not for nothing, Wu and Bad Boys have a lot of collaborations, but they was hating Biggie hard in this scene. 😂
Rae and Ghost specifically had beef with Biggie at that time.
@@anthonyanderson9303 the beef was competition…Rae and Ghost later admitted that biggie first album was 🔥🔥🔥 when they heard it they knew a new wave was coming they wanted the spotlight Biggie had in New York .
Big was the king and they wanted that. A lot of NY dudes was hating on Big before the east west situation. Boot Camp Click was from Brooklyn and they was throwing shots.
@@mackinshizzaveli4202 the king of New York title came in 95 …Rae and ghost was sending shots way before that lol and yea boot camp click was sending shots along with a few others from Brooklyn
@@carlosgibson2911 Cuban Links came out after Big was on the Source cover as King of NY with the Towers
This is the precursor or dramatization behind “Shark Niggas (Biters)” .. if y’all didn’t know
I thought I told you...Hey....
lmao biggie still the king tho
Her favorite part is the ending
Purple Tape
What killed me is that she was tired of listening to her cousins shit cause she hear him in real life (ODB) 😂! I think Dirty had that effect on everyone that was around him 💯! But Ghost shouldn’t be telling her what to listen to and what not. Not all females is into the lyrical hip hop shit, my own girl might not listen to my music like that and that’s ok. But I get it, Wu Tang is still on the rise just cause they made one album don’t mean they set for life! Everyone in the mid 90’s in NY was in competition with each other. Which is crazy cause in the 80’s hip hop community was everyone was equal. Since then times have changed. EPMD was out the picture, Slick Rick was in jail, Kool G Rap was still tryna find his way after him and Polo run ended, Big Daddy Kane and LL was still active but they wasn’t getting the same success like that like when they first came out years ago during this time. Biggie was taking over the charts with that remix! The only people in NY on the rise after Biggie was Boot Camp Clik and Wu Tang still. Craig Mack music was overshadowed by Biggie which fucked him up.
But this lets me know even today hip hop is a competitive genre. It always have been, everyone want the crown
Nas was popular too his album illmatic just came out a year prior
@@tyliekinc. I forgot that, he was on the rise too along with Wu, Fat Joe and Pun? A lot of people felt Biggie had the most attention
@@91Definite Wu-Tang brought the spotlight back onto NYC after NWA and Ice-T made the West Coast sound blow up. Biggie kept the spotlight on NYC, so yes he had the most attention. He had pretty fierce competition in Wu, Nas, Jay Z and Big L among others though.
@@mphylo2296 I was told Big L wasn’t worried about competition cause he had more confidence in himself 💯
She so damn fine
Next episode should be “The Purple Tape”……just say’n….
It is the next episode entitled “ criminology “ and it’s supposed to be one of them movies like how dirty got for episode 3
How did they get all that bass on one more chance please help me do that lol
Aint no way they were saying "fire" on statin island in the 90s. New york got the slang but not "fire"
God damn shes fine
Heads wasn’t saying fire back in the mid 90’s. In real life she woulda I heard it’s phat or I heard it’s da bomb or it’s butter. I was around for that era, these writers gotta study.
What beat is that at the end
Criminology
from Raekwon’s Only Built for Cuban Linx album
the same effect when 50 came i know wu must of been like shittt we gotta sit on the bench for a few years.
Nah by the time 50 came out Wu wasn't poppin as much anymore, other members were doing other projects on their own and RZA wasnt making the same beats we was used to hear during the golden days of Wu.
@@SFCityKids what was the beats that rza was making after mane?
@@mxxicvnphxnk I mean the afro samurai soundtrack was cool lol. No shade tho RZA is a legend no doubt but you cant deny his sound did downgrade after wu tang forever came out he didnt the same gritty vibes in his beats like he did in 36th chambers, OB4CL, Liquid Swords etc. The shit he was mainly recognized for. Like OB4CL was the peak on his production the beats he made on that joint was so godly it can never be replicated.
The is dope but they wast a lot time getting off topic going to wonder lane which each character with the dream imagination stuff season 3 aight but I feel like the dream part get to off topic
She so fine
Pfft, let's be for real, Puffy isn't anywhere near the producer RZA is. But Puff does have great ideas.
You know he help all I need with Mary right lol
the remix@@dremoore5329
I was tired of biggie back then
The episode 6 was not good at all, honestly trash, all the episodes from season 1 to 3 been super fireeeeeee 🔥🔥🔥🔥...but I wasn't happy with this episode, I was expecting rza to depict rae and ghost in the studio, making ob4cl capturing the moment for us who were not there, rza just went a hole nother rout, super selfish of rza
I agree, I was expecting the same plus the impact of the album being released
Loved the biggie hate this episode. No disrespect but King of New York I don't think so. He had nothing for ghost or rae!
