Thanks for posting this. I can attest that this was totally unplanned, as were all of my interactions (as Geoff) with Craig. Serj was not based on Bronson Pinchot’s character from Beverly Hills Cop, but I can see the resemblance. Source: me. 😉💀
Thank you so much for your kind message Josh! ;) Serj was one of my favorite characters on the show, out of all the memorable ones you created over the years :)
YES THEY ARE. When Craig loses it, the crowd loses it, I lose it. His shows are BRILLIANT, FUNNY, and ACTUALLY ENTERTAINING. I watched Stephen Colbert for a week just to see. Every day, same STUPID jokes. Plus you can see Colbert is shilling for the media fools.
I just learned that one should also not brush one's teeth while listening to Craig. The sheer amount of effort necessary not to spew a mouth-full of toothpaste is remarkable
@@shawnmand5607 Corden’s crutch (and Fallon as a matter of fact) has been the celebrity guests. Whether it’s carpool karaoke or the games, those two are so reliant on the guests. Craig, on the other hand, can do these silly bits with Geoff for an entire show. Conan is another host that doesn’t NEEEED the celebrity guests. His remotes with his staff and everyday people are the best things he’s done.
Today, Serge's weird slip of the tongue emerged in my head and I had to remember what the hell it was and than find this video again. Took me like an hour, but at last I can feel complete again. :-)
Craig: "Man, we should really rehearse some of that sometimes." But we all know that doing that would've ruined the whole spontaneity of the comedy between these two fellas. They were flying without a net, and it was just naturally funny. Even that little moment when Craig picks up the ringing phone and the sound effect hasn't stopped, and he makes a frustrated grimace about it-- that adds to the appeal and charm of this stuff. It's not unlike watching live television even though it's taped in advance. This is close in vibe to when one of the sketches on The Carol Burnett Show would go off the rails, like their "Mary Worthless" skit which was going fine until one little thing went wrong and then it just becomes a hilarious train wreck to behold.
Has anyone here seen Craig do stand-up? I'll probably go see him when he comes to my hometown, Thunder Bay, Ontario, when he's on the New Deal Tour, Extra Naughty! (and with added mustache!!). The mustache will be worth the price of admission. I went to see him when he still did this show in L.A. in 2007, and I liked it back then. Hopefully he's still got it.
He’s actually telling the truth, I’m from the Philly area and I’ve have both Genos and Pats. Just get a cheesesteak from wherever, it’s most likely equally if not better in taste. But if you’re gonna go with one, do Genos.

Have you really ever been to Dover?
Freaking Geoff is in the comments awesome
Philly people go to anywhere but Pat's or Gino's - there are lots of great cheesesteak places in South Philly, but not one secret unnamed location!
I see you’re making the rounds on old videos :)
never eat or drink while watching Craig Ferguson and Geoff. These improvised moments are THE BEST

Nothing can turn a bad day around like these guys can!
Fucking 100% true
amen man
Yes♥️
@m04f04m yeah honestly it baffles me that Corden became so popular in Ferguson's place

Craig's reaction, and Josh trying not to laugh while he's talking, kill me every time I watch this.
Also the "May I ask where you're from?".
I love how JRT can't even get in one sentence as Serge before they both lose their shit lol
"Sometimes I think about him"
Best philosopher joke ever.
Oh! It went over my head! ; )
@@Michael_______ I don't get it :(
Nice one!
@@gapjunction11 philosophers are thinkers as a profession!
I love how much Craig loves this
Craig and Geoff, the best late night duo ever. The spontaneity and chemistry are out of this world! Miss them tons!
Serge is the best bit Josh does, in my opinion.
hell yeah!
i like his queen
Mr. Internet Man 1. Myriam 2. Jerry 3. Serge 4. Craig from the future
pipey mcpiperson was short lived but great, also
Mr. Internet Man I liked his Elvis
More than half the fun of these is seeing how much fun Craig and JRT are having.
Damn, Craig and Josh are just the best.
Geoff
Josh plays Geoff
“Come by, have a steak. OK” 😂
I always thought he said "Come by, have a snake" 😅
I replayed this like 500 times the other night, lmfao
i loved every time they brought up Serge and today i decided to rewatch Beverly Hills Cop and holy fuck - Serge is actual Serge from that movie!
Come by have a steak. Ok.

There was no pressure.

Easy goin'.
@@iflarnted oh my god get out hahahah that just hit me as well
Can you elaborate?
I have been having Serge withdrawals lately. Had to look this up on youtube to get me by haha. I NEED TO HEAR MORE
Trying to discreetly watch this at work was a big mistake!
I'm in tears
Lost count how many times ive watched this. Hilarious.
That is actually true in a way. Everybody in Philly eats at "Chickes and Pete's" and all the tourists go to Jim's or pats.
Truly the greatest late night show ever
The phone comes up and they both shut down. Gold. Absolute gold.
That was hilariious. Geoff and Craig are in each other's heads with their comedy... "There's no pressure"... LOLOLOLOL
Love how the first half of the show was Craig and Geoff making each other laugh.
I just realized who Serge reminds me of! Harvey Korman as Max in Carol Burnett’s Nora Desmond sketches.
"Man, we should really rehears some of that" made my day hahahahahahahaha
My fav. Lol. Serge came back on the 14th as well :P
And the rest, ladies and gentleman, is history.
shoutout to Craig for knowing what's up with the cheesesteak scene in Philly
Def agree!
I live in Philly, and yes, never go to Pat’s or Gino’s.
This clip nearly hospitalised me - nearly chocked on my food
😆🤣🤣🤣 The greatest improvisation late night show EVER! Thanks Craig/Geoffrey!
This aired on my birthday...but this isn't a reason I cracked up laughing and happy.
"man we should really rehearse"
oh craig please don't 😂
Hahahaha, that voice is inspired by Beverly Hills Cop.
This Serge character was lifted from Bronson Pinchot's "Serge" in Beverly Hills Cop RUclips it. THAT GUY WAS DAMN HILARIOUS
No it wasn't
God, we are stuck with Jimmy fake laugh Fallon. Craig is a perfect mix of genuinely funny and also super charming, it is sad to have him gone
After all these years. I just got it. "Benditover"
Josh slipped into a little aussie near the end there
Desmond Tutu coined it beautifully whan he said to Craig, "You're crazy, the kind of crazy we need".
I hurt myself laughin at that call. Man this show was GOLD
That tiny squeaky laugh at 1:52 was adorable!
Hahaha thanks for making my night Eduardo!
:D You're welcome! Thank You Anne :)
Really.
note: dont watch if you just had surgery and have stitches on your abdomen
Yep.
Sia RIP
"We should really reheare" I can't believe JRT didn't come back with "why start now?"
God I miss these two! Which episode was this please?
Damn I miss this show!
Craig Ferguson once said to Chuck Norris; "please don't hurt me." I started to mimic Craig Ferguson, when he said such.
Could this be any more friggin HULARIOUS?
I cry every time I watch this. one of the funniest things ever.
holy shit that was hilarious
Hello, this is Søren Kierkegaard 😂
my favorite feel good clip
Oh I love this.

Anyone else catch it around 1:17 when Craig says "Silly Cheesesteaks"?
Is this Serge form 'Beverly Hills Cop'?
+Bruningable Ax-well Foley?
Ach-well Foley.
Ach-mal, Ach-wal... ... ... Foley's here to see you.
"No, don't be styoo-pid..."

Unrehearsed. Bad timing absolutely hilarious. Best late night show in recent history. Dave and Johny are still the best.
