the problem is people keep accepting those runs. let tht shi sit but there's always someone willing got some chum change tht just doesn't understand the numbers & prolly not even aware they technically doing the delivery for free when they consider the time & gas
Roadie is tripping with these pay reductions. In my area, routes are staying up longer because of the lower pay, but people are still taking them because that's all there is.
Seeing big drops on pay for the better gigs. 65" tv from walmart was over $20, now typically $17. If people take the orders at low rates, they will stay low or even drop more.
They definitely lower they pay. just the other day I got an order for 38$ that fill up my cargo van wit cabinets. The order was listed for a pickup truck but it was XL? I hit up Roadie to see if they could up the pay because there is no way all them boxes would fit on a pickup truck. They told me I was the problem, that I should have my car listed as a cargo van on their app (which it was) so they were just making up BS to not up the pay and left the chat. This was a Home Depot order btw which would normally be around 50 in my area.
Hello, just wanted to share some feedback, Ive been doing Roadie for over a yr with 2,200+ deliveries in that time and their pay has definitely dropped a few dollars on all customer orders, Home Depot, CVS, Discount tire, but Walmart has been hanging tough along with a few one off customers out here in Phoenix, AZ....it's just hit or miss on most days thankfully I'm able to stick it out and wait for good orders to pop up everyday. But Thank You sir ur the one I came across when researching to start the gig apps and I definitely enjoy the freedom that comes with being on ur own and not having to be stuck in a daily repetitive grind. 👏👍
@SZG1655 meanwhile the ceo of roadie everyone thinks he's a genius on linked in. No you just screw the most important part of your system. The drivers. We use our vehicles and add all the mileage and insurance cost.
I got $60 for a 15 mile trip to deliver a boxed Christmas tree. $35 for a 5 mile trip to deliver a drill and battery. $20 for a 6 mile prescription delivery. Just yesterday. I only use it in the morning before working at UPS for 8hrs. Then it's Grubhub till midnight, averaging $120 a night. Lincoln, NE is a great market and cheap living. I have seen some crazy bad offers tho, $45 to pick up 150 pieces that weighed 3400lbs from Tractor Supply Company and deliver 30 miles away.
The overall pay has dropped and I've been telling every driver I know to LET THE ORDERS SIT WHEN THEY DON'T PAY ENOUGH. You can see the progression downward on the smaller orders because people don't listen. At least in my area the truck sized orders are still high because only 3 trucks covering 10 cities. --- the pay increase has also changed now every 30/45 minutes it doubles. Starts at $7 jumps to $14
Ofc they did thats what all gig apps do once they have over saturation and drivers are taking anything for crazy miles i seen 60 cents a mile here in nyc
Yep the pay has gone down significantly. Charlotte/Rock Hill. 👎🏾 HOME DEPOT orders for medium gigs went from $38-$24 Huge gigs from $46-$32🤬 I think the Roadie higher ups has became greedy. 😡 I believe this is a test run to see if they can still get the same amount of Gigs delivered with lower pay. 😔
I was just starting to fall in love with roadie in Houston TX but now I’m having thoughts of divorce 🤦🏿♂️ everything changed for the worse about 2 weeks ago
In my area they give $8.50 Home Depot orders for 20 miles into a rural area and you have to wait in a 15 minute line for 1 customer service representative. It's been like this for atleast 8 months since I discovered your channel and the Roadie app. HUGE orders are typically $13-$15 for 5-10 miles and there are never enough orders to stack, even the worst orders get snatched up within minutes of being posted- its ridiculous.
Yo DDK I noticed the same lower payouts about 2-3 weeks ago here in the DMV area. I also noticed that they stepped up their chat support about the same time…they used to take like 30mins-1hour to respond via the help chat but now they respond ASAP! I think they lowered the payouts because they hired a shit ton of employees for support. Support is good but not at our expense!!!! Bullshit!
not bad they just got to go back up with alot of gigs with the money and couple different things cvs orders are way to low and homedepot needs to get back up and pay better and walmart orders neeeds to pay alot better but it is what it is gotta take what u can get another blessed day thanks and have a great blessed day as always amen and also they neeed to fix the dimensions on alot of stuff happy hoildays to u and your family besafe always
Why did the pick up time change. Ie: said pick up by 445p. So I accepted the offer and started driving to pick up. Pick up time changed to 428 and I was 2 min late. I should’ve been 20min early. Crazy. Then it pops back up and I try to grab it. But this time it was $2 more and I didn’t get it. While I was in the parking lot
Got a rental?Hopefully Smoke be running soon. As always good vids 💪DDK on he's way let's GOOOO 💪 CCC LET'S get it 💪 some days the apps pay good & some days trash 🗑
So I’m out here on a Monday The 28th it should be a $250-$300 day. Everything I’m seeing is 50 Cent to a dollar a mile. Tractor supply, which is usually good for higher paying loads, as a 200 pound low right now going 18 miles and it’s paying $13. this is a disaster for a Monday.
Is it actually Roadie dropping the pay or is it the broker middle man trying to keep more for themselves? You know they raise the price if you dont jump on that lowest payout.
It's really roadie trying to keep more for themselves because they charge the companies the same amount as before, I've posted a couple of deliveries on roadie before
Good morning everybody so I have a quick question. Does anybody have any advice for apps in the Nevada Reno area? A lot of the apps I’m looking at our mostly for the East Coast. Any help you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated. Love this channel.
Proves have been down and going down since January. I've been from Jacksonville, FL to Cleveland, OH and back, its bad. Cleveland was the city of $7 gigs. You were lucly to find a gig paying $10+
@@skullkills3544 They're still out there. One of the 4 loads I did over the weekend, last night for $70, was a van load of furniture from At Home. But overall fees have been cut dramatically and most loads now are $1/mile or worse. I think Roadie wants to rely on individuals who'll take a load on their way to somewhere rather than utilizing drivers who run gigs for income/profit.
Yo Jerome! All these companies are getting greedy and they all are out of pocket! For instance, Dispatch must be tripping! I am seeing multiple jobs for $9.97 and $11.87 . I mean how can they expect us to make a living on that shit! I have decided to not take anything from any gig app under $20, it ain’t worth it. As long as people keep taking trash orders, this shit will get worse before it gets better. CCC keep going and flowing ! Peace!
I'm in Indy and the pay have never been ok. I rarely take Roadie order just bc of this. I only grab then if I'm near the pick up and in the middle of driving on another app.
Outta nowhere prices slashed in half now most rides are bundles and barley enough. Even the Walmart flat screens is disrespectful prices now $10/$11 used to be $24-$32 Home depot and pets mark are still somewhat suitable but only after no one accepts order and they finally drive the price up. Otherwise it’s getting slow on roadie by the day and you would think during this time the holidays would be poppin but it’s the opposite.
Yes, they lowered the pay is now a dollar less than what we usually get. Brody is not the first company to lower driver’s pay to make a profit. Uber been doing this for years now other delivery caterers apps are doing the same thing. they can’t get it from the restaurants or the customers so now they have to get it from the drivers.
Most Home Depots l pick up at don't even give me paperwork, l used to ask if l need paperwork and they told me the customer is ordering online so they print out their own paperwork and receipt. Either way you don't need the paperwork so I'd just leave it with the delivery items, that's what l do when Home Depot gives me paperwork
Watching from Rockdale county Georgia 🇺🇲 My plumbing business has gotten super slow and I'm looking for other things to do. I have a pick up truck and a 16 ft utility trailer with 4ft walls. Looking for good apps worth it. Thanks 👍
I don’t do roadie anymore, it used to be decent but it’s busy work more than anything these days. They know couriers will accept anything and abuse that fact
208 items medium gig 34 miles for 14.00 in metro Atlanta!! These orders are beyond trash!! That drive alone in the metro going to take 40 minutes. You likely going to handle of those 200 items at least once if not twice. Insane!! And who is taking these orders at these below rock bottom prices??
Roadie definitely dropped pay.. I deliver in SW/SE Michigan and NW/NE Indiana and not only have the prices dropped but way less gigs have been popping up in my area.. I used to get a good amount of “out in the sticks” gigs starting at $50-$75 then climb in price (especially late at night, prescriptions, luggage from Delta etc)… now those sorts of gigs I see starting around $13 for 38 miles! I thought it was ridiculous before but now idk.. plus I use a V6 4.0 L pickup 😅.. I know not the best way to go but that’s my situation. Been trying to sell my truck and look for a transit err something but … why am I typing still 😮 Great video! Sub’d 👍 Thought I was going completely insane and/ or the Roadie AI algorithm hated me out of the blue. Glad I’m not the only one who noticed and just a lil crazy lol 🛻 😅
So, basically they are paying the same amount as they have been in my market. I joined roadie a little over a year ago. Those are the rates we get in RVA.
Now, admittedly, I do not see nearly as many orders as you are especially for that much money. But they definitely went down by about 10 to 20% this past week.
i can think of 2 reasons why the orders are dropping. time of the year, this time orders slow down ive noticed. another reason is theres too many people out there competing for orders and just taking anything. ive seen orders going like 80 miles paying $35 and someone would take it and it would be like 5 orders in one gig. i shake my head at the people that take those orders. your pretty much delivering them for free at that point. i set my limit at $1 per mile at the least. some of these guys doing 30 cents per mile.... i just dont get it.. i was lucky today and got 2 $50 + orders
Been doing this for 2 years. It was like this last year around this time. It picks up a little in a couple weeks then slows down after new years. During the summer i average $250 a day 6 days a week. Now im lucky if i make $150 a day. And this is only roadie
Same here, I believe the Bitcoin ETFs approval will be life changing opportunity for us, with my current portfolio of $108,000 from my investments with my personal financial advisor i totally agree with you

They all have followed the blueprint of Uber Eats and DoorDash I heard InstaCart and Spark are really bad in most markets
10000 percent then the support sucks it's owned by UPS did we think they would last
I stop doing Roadie because their pay have become Trash 🗑.
You said it right STRAIGHT TRASH
Trash? Please forgive me for using a stronger word. It's a complete GARBAGE.
What did you pivot to?

Roadie is mad disrespectful in NY. 40 miles for like $17. I haven't used roadie in months

Just got on Roadie in NY also. Thought it would be good, getting orders from Brooklyn to NJ for $20 or upstate NY for $40.
the problem is people keep accepting those runs. let tht shi sit but there's always someone willing got some chum change tht just doesn't understand the numbers & prolly not even aware they technically doing the delivery for free when they consider the time & gas
I’m in Louisiana and lately all roadies have been low. Miles high and the pay 💰 is low. So I wait to I get a banger order.
Indeed they did. Here in Massachusetts.
I was on the waiting list now im in, now i know why. Not driving for bs pay.
Same here in NY.
CCCS UP! Definitely tweaking on the pay for Roadie! Saw a medium load going 73 miles for $48!
It's been low in my area. Welcome to the party
Yep, I notice that too, a lot of orders that use to be 40-80 is now going for $39
Same here I either wait for them to raise the pay or I just don't bid on it. Makes no sense for me to drive at 50 cents a mile
Roadie is tripping with these pay reductions. In my area, routes are staying up longer because of the lower pay, but people are still taking them because that's all there is.

Central Cali prices have dropped on xl gig to 17. My overhead expenses are too high to continue service. Time to pivot & navigate accordingly.
so go direct to the customers. reduce their costs, increase your pay
shut up. Home Depot nor these companies doing anything direct with a bunch of random people.
Tampa, FL doesn’t really get HOME DEPOT offers anymore. And the payouts are extremely low for all others.
Yes they have know added multiple deliveries into one under 50 dollars but it eats up your time plus the drive back
Yeah bro bro they lowered it here in Detroit Michigan
The most insulting thing is the one to two dollar decreases for CVS orders. They already pay less than 10 bucks, that just adds insult to injury.
What up Doe ! Keep sending out Great Content ! The Orders are 10 to 20$ cheaper here in the Metro Detroit Area
Same thing here in NJ... Roadie definitely reduced the payout!

That has been the norm here in Connecticut for quite some time, those orders should be $50 minimum anywhere but hey we can’t fight these companies

In San Francisco the pay is back kind of decent I feel like it dropped a lot post late August for sure.
Roadie has been low for over a year in SC
What about in cali I need information and apps for regular cars and sprinter vans
Roadie is doing that add on gig for less. 3 toilets for 10$ add on but when its by itself its usually 23$
In Philadelphia is pay $26 to 34 order that pay 45 to 50 and walmart spark downgrade oder to pay 3 delivery for $7 to 10 that happen 2 weed
It's been like that in FL for the past year ½
