yes, and just a friendly advice to you, when you load and unload, put the gear on N and put the emergency brakes on so that way you don't damage the transmission...I learned it with a cost so you don't have too🤭✌

Yes you put the truck in park after you use the E brake he’s correct… neutral, E brake , park brake . @michealLinschoten don’t believe got outside and put your car or truck in park turn and off an on then put in drive … now try it using the E brake then park method you will feel the difference

Hi J. Make sure you shift your trans to N and apply E brakes while loading and uploading. That save u a tons of money (trans damage) I see that bump from the forklift driver. Just a heads up. Be careful out there.

Facts. I go to neutral and apply the E brake when loading vehicles on my trailer and when loading my cargo van. I also choke tires. Nothing is worse than a bad transmission

Nice info man. I'm trying to get started up now, I'm in my own car for now. But I'm saving up for a van. Already almost there, and already familiar with starting the business as I already have another business. I just needed some more info on how to get loads because I'm only getting between 1 to 3 a day right now and I'm barely making 100 bucks. I also have a day job too that I do deliveries and that pays about 200 to 300 daily which is good enough for me. But I don't really like working for others. I prefer to work for myself.
The difference in registration of a little box truck over a van just about floored me. It's like 7x the price here in Oregon

New sub loving your channel. I been doing the trucking for a couple years now FedEx seasonal and then I've been on the road before also but I do have a question when you get your sprinter van what insurance do you have courier's insurance or just regular.
WELCOME TO THE CHANNEL!! If you are just doing gig apps you can just ise regular insurance. But if you are going to go with a carrier company, some of them allow you to go under their insurance and they take the payment out of your pay, or you would have to get your own commercial insurance.
@@carsandcribswhen you say carrier companies, so are you basically leasing on to these carrier companies to use their authority and they put their mc#'s ,Dot, and name on your vehicle, and they add you to their insurance and charge you a weakly fee Correct? I have a question though. #1- do all these carrier companies require to just take loads from them ONLY or you can be open to work any one of them once you get signed up with all of them. #2- do all pay you after you complete the load, or if not how late/how soon. and last question, what is the average per mile you get paid these days. it was like between .80cents-a dollar average about a year ago. did that go up a little? this is about driving expedited shipping in sprinter van across the nation..just a little refreshing idea if you can provide..I did exactly what you are doing about two years ago and I want to get back in...thanks in advance and good luck man!

Lol I felt like I was over pricing when I listened to the beginning of the video lol currently I'm doing a $1.85 per mile for cars and SUVs and for any other vehicles like cargo vans/ sprinter vans and box trucks I'm doing $2.10 per mile.. those are just my standard courier prices for those vehicle types
Can you get like some rollers installed in the van to make it easier to get the cargo to the back? Has anyone seen a van configured with a system of that nature to avoid pushing and pulling the load.

You have to look up carriers and see what their qualifications and pay terms are. All the answers to your questions are out there, you just have to look them up.
How’d you get your first clients when you started? I’m in the beginning stages myself.
What kind of van are you using? The pallets fit in.
So you only do local routes in your city or do you drive to different cities?
Do you have 1/4" or 1/2" plywood on your van floor?
Just got a quick question, how much do you make on an average week with the sprinter van?
Now you got to figure out which of the 5 got the most pull in what regions. The load you just did for 100 was 200 to 250 last year. Rates are down that bad unfortunately .
