Shit bra da stock version is so much betta in my taste. That's y I just got my 2006 919. Love da style and and curves of it. Y not just buy a bike that's already mod or made like that.
I have no problem with full faired bikes. I got older along with most riders and my problem is with the pretzel track riding position. I know that's a tricked out full build, but I'm happily keeping my Hornet 919 OEM. 😁 Standard sitting position for me, thank you.
Own a Big Hornet myself and have to say your mods looks great..........except for that headlight. Looks way out of place. I Love your tailsection 👍🏻 Great job
I agree, the headlight looks out of place, the original would look much better. The tail work is amazing. I just picked up a 2004, thinking of having these guys do some work. 😎
I loke the front light and the Honda quality. My Hornet is something between these 2 bikes and i like the classic line of the original - with some small changes. It‘s a cool built, but not for that bike. I love mine :-)
In London, you would have to pay USD 15.65, PER DAY, to ride this. It would incur a ULEZ charge because it does not meet Euro 3 exhaust emmissions standards (ULEZ = "Ultra Low Emmision Zone" ) £12.50 GBP ps: otherwise, I would love to own one of those (what a great conversion!!) pps: just thought you may wish to know (how lucky you are)
I like it a lot except for two things: those clip-ons are too low for my liking & I would like some kind of windshield and I'm going to throw a third one in there.... I really like the stock undertail dual exhaust! it is a Dying Breed
Love it, great job. Nice to see more interest in the naked standards. I would have changed the rear shock, they're known to be crappy. Also, would have added the PCIII controller. The forks are a great upgrade for these.
Hey TOC, I love what you did with this Hornet, fantastic work. I just bought a 2004 with only 12k miles. Might even send my bike to P.A.from Florida for some similar work! 😎
I notice the wrap was done from the cylinder head down, so that the seams are facing up. I've been told the correct way is to wrap from the end of the exhaust up to the cylinder so the seams are facing down. Not only does it look better, dirt and water doesn't not collect in the seams. Odd that I see so many "experts" who don't know something as simple as that.
I had one of those years bike, best bike ever, for the money. My comments : alot of work , but there are some things that I think could have been improved to look better, the front light is too far ahead , too much space between light and handlebar, the double underseat exhuasts were beautiful and sounded great, why change and replace them with an exhaust that looks like from a 125cc bike? The tail is though great, but could have been even shorter. to give it more a cafe-racer look
Awesome job !! i'm jalous :), i own the same 919 i did some mod but what you did is crazy !! Do you have some part list...i'm interest on the exhaust/peg job and the built in speedo !!
Something doesn't flow and it's obvious headlight size. You chose cruiser HD style headlight where 6 or 7 inch would of worked better. Love the rear end work.Dont like the exhaust......
@@TrickedOutCustomCycles With all due respect.. I think you did your customer a disservice. I used the "...are necessary..." simply because I have 4 Hornets and each have their respective "RAIL COMP., RR. I can do virtually ANY frame work on my bikes with the marvelous center stand. Try swapping out a rear shock, swingarm/bearings, Y link pipe, front wheel and more without one.... bin thar, still doin' it.

Good work. But I woult take a original one, get rid of the crash bars, put on led headlight and turn indicators, maybe a nice high quality seat, superbike handlebar - DONE.
Why would keep the pillion seat??? Looks like someone went shopping on aliexpress to find the most junk for a bike they could get and threw it all on from a distance 🤔
yo guys i know you know your shit but sound quality can make or break a video grab some lav mics so you can talk from a distance in a calm voice and the bike wont overpower your voice. thanks for fixing my bike today i really appreciate it

@@TrickedOutCustomCycles I currently own 07 919' and your custom version looks fantastic... would you be able to disclose how much it would cost to get a job done like so?
Thats some real distasteful upgrade! Those custom taillights and blinkers don’t just look horrendous but I doubt their functionality too. But then again, the owner chose the workshop, good for him.
Don't call it a "nine nineteen", it's a nine-one-nine. :D Quality work, but not my style. The 919 is the bigger, badder, liquid-cooled sibling to the CB750 Nighthawk. It was a modern take on the 70's UJM bikes, built out of the Fireblade's parts bin (similar to the mid-2000's neo-retro VW Beetle and Ford Mustang). It just doesn't look 'right' without the classic sideview mirrors, headlight, and especially the pair of analogue gauges. Also the rear looks weirdly barren without the beautiful underseat twin exhaust.
Looks better standard
Not going to lie that looks horrendous, but that just not my style. The craftsmanship looks awesome, and appears to have been done well.

Where did you find the subcage for this? I have been looking for like 2 years
Love it, great job. Nice to see more interest in the naked standards. I would have changed the rear shock, they're known to be crappy. Also, would have added the PCIII controller. The forks are a great upgrade for these.
can i ask where i can buy the inverted fork and the gauge ?
im from the Philippines

That is the very inspiring change. You made me wish the bike like that

Personally im more a fan of the under tail exhaust, it just looks more timeless.
Hi there, awesome build. I would like to know where you bought the top triple clamp from?
Richard Jamie it’s from Moto gadget
very cool! what is the name of the exhaust system?
HEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLL YEAHHHHHH!!!!! shes soooooooooo badass what a beast!
Damn that’s awesome looking!

Love the rear end work.Dont like the exhaust......
I fell the same. Sometimes you have to use the parts the customer supply and want on their bikes. Thanks for your input 👍🏽
Front end is sick
The intro bike .. comon wth was that look -.- made me cry a little.. those tiny exhausts , oh well i at least hope the owner was happy with it ..
Raise up those exhaust pipes on black bike to look even sweeter.
Sissy bar, or grab rail, are necessary for center stand.
Yeh but we too off the center stand also

All cool apart from the low exhaust
The owner of the bike wanted exactly what you see
What happened to the odometer? How will you tell the speed now?
MMA it’s displayed one the gauge in top clamp

Damn y’all really ruined a hornet :/
the front end of that black one is absolutely horrible
Renthal bars required
Why would u touch that beauty, it was perfect, now it's worth nothing
What sub frame is that?
Jon Quizhpe it’s the stock subframe
Sorry, the stunt pegs
Jon Quizhpe I custom made stunt peg mount to fit stock subframe
Would you be down to make another? Totally would buy if you can.
Jon Quizhpe I could I would just need the bike to make it off of.
OMG sorry you totally ruined it

😖😖😖
You ruined the bike bro
