even as a woman wearing a tank is amazing. They are a great under layer in the winter / cooler months so you can wear a sweater with out overheating but having a little more warmth and some times coverage for other things. They are great under cute, flowy shirts that might be a little sheer in the sping/summer as well. Having a black and a white tank in your wardrobe is a great add to any wardrobe.

43 year old woman here, once I discovered an undershirt, there was no going back. This may have originated from the early 2000's layering of tank tops and shorts that was so trendy, but it held on for me.
48 yr old woman here, early 2000s are a blur of parenting small children, so no idea when I started adding tanks to my layers, but I can't dress without them now. Like people who can't stand tags in t-shirts, I can't stand a t-shirt without a tank under it.
I love my tank tops. I use t-shirts as an extra layer when it's especially cold in the winter, because it's windy where I live, so in the winter you get ice winds that basically cut through your outer layers. And in the summer, it's easy to just wear that or put a button up over it if it gets a bit colder, like at night. It's great.
I always wear a black or white tank top. Even in the summer. As a person who sweats quite a bit, the tank tops save me from my shirts looking dripping wet
Bro, I'm so glad wearing a tank top underneath stuff is considered normal, I have to bind my chest, and I recently got a white binder so I don't have to hide it as much, and aaaa. It even looks good with a lot of my outfits! :D
In italy amongst younger generations there is a stigma around wearing the white tank top, as it "appears oldish" in style and its often referred as "the healthy tank" canottiera della salute, meaning if you wear it you are either old or not healthy enough to survive a cold. A little fact about italian youngsters style 😅. There was also a famous popular spng about children not waering white tanks cause it wasnt cool enough. Now it's slowly coming back in young generations with southern rap/italian stereotype dress code. But as far as I know, none of my friends wear one, and im from a very cold place in Italy
Tanktop is my favourite thing in the world. So versatile and stylish! I have been wearing one so often for over 10 years that it became a part of me. Literally wearing one as I'm typing this rn.
When I wear a tank top, I first like the style but second, I am allergic to metal so if I have to go somewhere fancy like a wedding, dance, or just a simple date, I wear a tank top so the metal doesn't get to me
My grandfather, who was very cool cowboy born in Yuma, Arizona (hunted wild horses in Northern Mexico during the Great Depression, jobs in the U.S. were few and far between), and eventually worked until retirement at a Copper Smelter in El Paso, Texas, held court every Sunday in his white tank top. When he was cold, he would throw on his ancient black leather jacket, over his white tank top. White Tank tops are very cool. I’m buying a pack today 😊
You should make a video on the colognes you wear. Just bought Gaultier Le Male. It ties into male self-improvement. If you dress to look good then you should smell like it too. Nautica Voyage is a very budget friendly, fresh smelling cologne as well.
First shot seemed like man was wearing a kurta/Panjabi XD. Would love seeing you try some styles inspired from other countries just to see how far you can push yourself outside comfort zones.
Historically, underlayers were used to protect our outer clothes from our bodies (sweat and oils) and extending the clothes life. They were typically fabrics that would wick away moisture.
can you compare Tank vs T. whats the advantages of one over the other? to me, its just for muscle dudes to show off their guns. as a lean guy, it only advertises my lack. so i wear Ts for their filler.
I have a problem with white shirts, white dress shirts and white polos in particular, since they are usually very see-through. Are these undershirts the only solution? They seem to also stick out since you can notice them easily.
Also, if you have man boobs they help reduce them a bit. Ik this bc I used to be obese and very VERY insecure Abt them good thing that's the past haha. Now I use them like in the video
Men use to wear undershirts when wearing suits as to not get sweat on their suits or any shirt for that matter. My father still wears them, even under polo type shirts.
Helping keep excessive sweat and oil off your nice button ups and such will help them last longer. That's why you'll see historical under clothes being cotton, it protects your outer clothes which are usually more delicate and is easily cleaned.
Im a woman and i've always worn a basic tank top under my shirts. I feel naked without one 😂 its to cold in the winter or inconfortable in the heat without one (and/or I can literaly get rid of the shirt and have a tank top to cool down ✌️)
Undershirts always felt terribly uncomfortable to me, ever since I was a kid and I just stopped wearing them entirely. Can’t remember when I wore one last. Like when I was in my early teens? And now that I’m overweight, I can’t fathom how more uncomfortable they would feel now ….

Personally prefer short sleeved undershirts to tanks, as they cover the pits too
Doesn’t stop sweat from pits which is arguably the smelliest part of the upper body

Facts!
I used to never wear them but then I started a job that was very hot, outdoors etc.. So I started wearing undershirts and I stay way cooler.
In India, most people wear them all day everyday underneath their clothes as undergarments and treat them as such
