I love how he immediately goes from being pissed to being the most polite person ever, also why do I get the feeling this episode is not the last we’ve seen of Candice’s Dad
This could have been Clark showing off how he uses his powers to fake a fight and make it look real. People are going to be talking about how freakishly strong he is.
Great reaction. I love this episode. We have seen Superman control his anger, but to see him as father and husband, to see Clark/Superman so tense and trying to control his anger and handle this situation like any regular husband and father was amazing. Tyler did amazing job showing this. I agree with you on the satellites, but how Jordan spoke to his grandfather that was unacceptable. As a veteran myself and my father, my dad's brother and my mom's brother, and grandfather all served I would never question the sacrifices they made serving. Even my daughter felt this was wrong of Jordan to do. She was like I would never say that to you dad. :) There were heroes...not all heroes wear capes.
funny thing i wanted to say with Jordan in the truck....reminding me of good old days of Smallville when clark would wear his red jacket and blue t-shirt.......ahhh I love it
I hate that people are trying to take sides on the Lana/Sarah situation. There’s no excuse for hitting your child. It’s wild that people are so upset about Candice’s dad hitting Jon, but suddenly switch up when lana hits Sarah. There’s never a justified reason to hit your kid. It causes such lasting and damaging effects on your mental health and relationships. I’m glad this episode took the time to analyze that situation to let us see both sides and come to a resolution that doesn’t involve violence. Sarah realized she shouldn’t have said what she said, and Lana realized she shouldn’t have laid a hand on her. They both were at fault. People need to understand that!
Hard disagree, this why kids be out here talking crazy to people and get into all types of trouble cause they don’t get disciplined!! Don’t get disciplined confused with abuse, you should never be hitting your child to the point where they are bruised, bloody or in long lasting pain, the slap was fine. Y’all be talking to y’all parents any type of way cause there’s no consequence to it, where I come from your getting popped!! You not finna be talking to no adult like that, that type of disrespect is not tolerated and by that age you already know better so it don’t happen. Candice’s dad is a completely different situation cause you shouldn’t be putting hands on other peoples kids, that’s a easy way to get messed up! Then he blacked his eye, the situation was completely different! Sarah deserved what she got end of story and I would feel just as strongly if Lois slapped either of the boys if they talking to her crazy
Both situations are different though. Jon was punched and threatened with his life by Candice’s dad. Sarah got slapped for speaking wayyyy out-of-line towards her mom. Granted, Lana and Kyle established conditions for how they wanted to raise their family considering Lana came from an abusive home, which was violated when she slapped Sarah. However, those are two vastly different circumstances.
@@BigBroLilSis the slap was not fine at all. You do NOT inflict physical harm on your child or any child. And the decrease of physical punishment has zero correlation with any kids of today being disrespectful, it's often the ones who DO get slapped about by their parents who then do the same to other kids at school. You have to explain to your child what was wrong and why it was hurtful, not just react by inflicting harm on them. Get them to UNDERSTAND and learn to be better people. Physical 'discipline' absolutely is abuse. It always has been. And Meg is correct. Sarah was out of line but Lana was next level wrong. And Lana realised that the moment after she did it. Fear of physical punishment is not a good reason to be good. Like if you're only good because you're afraid of going to hell or something, then you ain't really good at all. That's self-interest and selfishness, not actually caring about other people.
A thought on the Sarah stuff - I think it's there to reiterate the whole 'adults should never hit children' thing that gets absolutely hammered home with Candace's dad and Jon's interaction. No, Sarah should not have thrown bitchy comments at her mother about the break up of her marriage - but Lana is an adult. Adults are supposed to be in control, and teenagers are renowned for saying and doing dumb things. Yes, it sucks your marriage is breaking up and your old boss was murdered and you're now running the town - but you don't get to hit kids because you're overwhelmed. You don't get to hit kids. That's obvious with the Emmett/Jon confrontation, because we're supposed to think less of the trailer trash dad who's proven his worthlessness. It's there for Lana too though - she should know better, DOES know better, and will have to learn how to deal with a troubled teen without resorting to violence. It is easier to forgive Lana for her lapse, but I think the comparison is there for a reason.
But Jon ain’t Emmet’s child, you should never be putting your hands on somebody else’s child! If Clark was normal strengthed I’d say he should’ve tore his ass up but he’s a super good person and way better than me or anyone I know. Sarah got what she deserved, getting popped for a smart mouth isn’t a second thought where I come from
I don't even support the show anymore, and even I admit Clark handling that absolute asshole in the dinner is easily the most badass Clark Kent scene ever made
One of the best shows on TV. I just wish it was getting far, far more viewers. It deserves way larger audiences than most of the other stuff on TV that gets over 10 million viewers, yet this doesn't even get 1 million
This season is brilliant million times better than season 2 the confrontation with lois then Clark against that ahole candices dad was brilliant but loving intergang story too 10 out of 10
Clark and Lois better than me fr for letting Candice stay until she finds somewhere permanent to stay cuz if it was me Candice could stay as long as she wants 😏😳
Morning Bro, that scene, in the , Diner , with the Dad, of the girlfriend of John, and Clark. Remind me of Christopher Reeve , Superman ,2, in the Diner , with Clark, , also the scenes between Brono and John Henry, and the suit Awesome 👍😎❤️, like the suit that Jordan , Grandad, gave him, Superboy ,hmm. Next week, . By the way about Conniving Sarah and her lying 🤥😅, ass, well if that was my Mom, Sarah was mouthing, like that, remembering the corrections I got and appreciate now especially, as I'm grown, Sarah ass would be lucky, oh so lucky, kid's now sheesh 🙄., Oh well. You are right about they , don't like getting slapped, 😭😭😔😊
I love how he immediately goes from being pissed to being the most polite person ever, also why do I get the feeling this episode is not the last we’ve seen of Candice’s Dad
Awesome episode. I loved Clark Kent handled that situation, showing Clark's strength as a husband and father.
This could have been Clark showing off how he uses his powers to fake a fight and make it look real. People are going to be talking about how freakishly strong he is.

Agree to disagree @Carn

You know what would be crazy, if Emmit was telling the truth and he wasn't the one that stole the truck or dealt XK n stuff.
He still punched Jon and threatened them with a gun
I like when he says BLT 😂😂
What is it called 😭😆
Awesome episode where's your sister
She’s around, she’ll be back next week for the next one 🔥
Where's Lil Sis
She’ll be back, just scheduling conflicts

pulling the blicky out on a women is crazy...
a) it’s women
b) women can handle themselves & pulling a gun on ANYONE is crazy, don’t make it a damsel in distress thing
