I love these toads so much… I’ve caught them all my life.. I have American Toad tadpoles with legs in my little backyard pond right now .. I can’t wait til they’re bigger and hopefully reproduce in same pond in future
When I moved into my new house in the back yard it had a natural 5 x 5 pond, whenever I go down there I hear the toads jumping in! In the fall I even see little foxes go to drink from it
I didn’t get American toads to mine, but I got American Bullfrogs, Northern Green frogs, Yellow Spotted salamanders, and Eastern Newts. I’m in Southern Maryland.

Excellent. They are so amazing. I remember 100 of toadlets hopping around. Im sure most don't survive. Important to raise lots.

🐸 Really cool video. Your pond is pretty. Hopefully I'm fortunate enough to get some toads in my pond this year. 👍
I hope so too. I was shocked when they showed up. I never saw them!
Very informative! The thumbnail had me thinking this was going to be a meme video lol
Thank you. Glad you watched.

I'm jealous of all the things you have attracted. That's just awesome. I hope others read your comment and create a pond.
@@BackyardBirdsUS I wouldn’t want to live anywhere without one now that I’ve had it. I even look forward to the dragonflies it brings.
Dang I've only had 1 toad in my garden in Topeka. He disappeared randomly and we had named him Bob
Don't give up. Hope Bob comes back.
