Tybee is one of our old "haunts". Been going there for many years. Used to be a quiet beach town vib but we haven't been back in a few years

I think what Natalie is asking is "How do they know it takes 400 years to break down if it hasn't existed 400 years?" The answer is that they create the conditions of the ocean in a lab and let the item sit in it for a time (let's say 1 year) and then they check to see what has broken down. If 1/400th of the item broke down over a year, then it's safe to say it'll take about 400 years for all of it to break down.

If you make it to the East coast of FL the light house at St Augustine you are allowed to walk out at the top. We visited that one after the Tampa RV Show.
On our list for sure! We’ve been to the fort there
We were at Tybee in the summer of 2021 and we really enjoyed our stay.
I bet it was beautiful in the summer! A little nippy in November 🥶

There’s a nuclear bomb that was lost years ago somewhere off the coast of Tybee Island back in 1958!
Funny story, Laurence heavily researched this and wanted to go to Tybee Island for this specific reason and then completely forgot to talk about it!! LOL

Applebees is a chain restaurant. They do amazing BBQ ribs and cheap beers during happy hour (4-6)

This was Hurricane Nicole. It was initially planned to hit Tybee Island head on, but diverted south last minute
Surname means the same thing here too. It's just that many people don't know it because of our failed school system.
