Thank you for watching. It really was an amazing trip and we did make some really amazing memories. The last time me and my dad had a trip like this was in 1994 in Scotland.
You are so lucky to be spending this time with your dad. I used to take my dad out on jeep adventures and had great times and memories. Unfortunately I lost him in 2016. I miss him every day
I'm so sorry for your loss. Yes, we both loved the trip and the memories we made. We also werent' going to film it, but Natalie convinced me last minute. So so so glad I did.
Fantastic to see you and your Dad having so much fun Laurance. Total agree that the Grand Canyon thing was a total ripoff. We have just put out our video of us riding the wing on the Arizona Sidewinder. Thanks for the inspiration.
Hi Andy, I saw the video. So strange that you guys are back in that area right after we were there. Loved Oatman again and just all those drives around that area a so nice.
It really is! I nearly didn’t video our trip, but Natalie convinced me to. So glad I did as one day I will look back on this with unimaginable memories.
It's been great to watch your father/ son trip. I went to Laughlin and Oatman with my parents when I was a teenager. My first (and only lol) time on a jetski was on the river there. Lots of good memories. Thanks for sharing!
Such awesome memories you guys have had on this trip! You definitely travel like me, my brother once told my parents when I took him to a Europe the first time. He said next time I’d like to see more of less 😂 My response back was I did my job, you can go back and re see things you want to see more of next time! 😮😂
Oh I 100% agree! We do this with our RV trips too. We like to see the tip of he iceberg so that we get to come back and see more. I’m working on convincing the old man to come back next year to see more. Stay tuned to see if that happens 🤣
Ahhhhh yes, Laughlin, Nevada. Also known as Dollar Store Vegas. They used to do an even there called "The Laughlin River Regatta." It was basically about 20,000 people floating down the river tubes and drinking themselves stupid. It was tons of fun, but sadly it no longer takes place 😪. Lovely segment on Oatman, that's on our list of places to go. BTW Toni and I are like the Old Man, we wake up early and wind up in places that are closed! Glad y'all enjoyed your trip to the west. Having spent most of your lives in the west we love it!
Thank you for your videos! It has been a pure joy and a good bit of fun to tag along with you two. What a blessing for you guys to be able to spend this time together! Safe travels!
Alright Laurence while u were galavanting across the nation with pops, n stopping with your itty bitty rental car at all these attraction places, did u at anytime think about where us RV's can pull in n park too? 🤨 (lol). (Ps vid was still enjoyable 😉) 🍻
hahaha. I did actually! There are a bunch of RV's everywhere, but mostly much smaller vans/skoolies/TTs. I can totally see why Vanlife is all west coast.
Well done, gentlemen, that was a lot of sightseeing & touring in a very short time. I'm tired just watching you fellas go. I just keeping thinking , what an absolute fantastic memory you both are building. If they come back next year, we are coming down to visit 😊😊😊...lol...we will probably be down either way 😊😊 Cheers 🍻l
This has been a great trip to watch. I am looking forward to you taking your Mum & Dad & Natalie to the Grand Canyon next year. Try the Stratosphere in Vegas next time. If you are staying there you get to go up on the roof for free and watch crazy people do the amusement park rides on the roof. You can also go to the "highest bar" in Vegas at the Stratosphere. Thank you for sharing your Dad with us.
We planned to do so much in Vegas on our last evening, but it was a really long day and we just couldn’t do it. We did see some of the most obvious things, but had to turn in early for our flight home. I’m trying to convince him to come back next year!
My family has been going to Laughlin since the early 80s. Back then, you had to go up and over the dam to get to the AZ side. This is why they had water taxi's. The road over the dam was indeed closed after 9/11, but they have turned it into a nature trail along the river banks, since the route is now redundant. In the 80s, there was too much water for the dam to hold so they opened the massive flood gates. Laughlin's prime was in the early 90s and indian casino gaming put a dent in the city's popularity. It's still massively popular for boating and jet skis. In the summer time, it regularly gets up to 116-120F+. The lake water temp will be 80 degrees, and the water in the river (which pulls from the bottom of the lake), is a consistent 50-60 degrees. Even as the outside temp broils, the river water is shockingly cold.
This is a nice trip you had with your dad. You made good memories for sure. That was funny when that word dad was in that cave on that piece of wood and you ashes your dad if he did it. I love you and your dad together. Hope your parents come back to the states again sometime. They are great people like you and Natalie. Hope you both had fun in Laughlin. I love it there. The food at Colorado Bell is the best. I was there about maybe 8 years ago. Took my family there. How did you and your dad like Oatman and Kingman? And did he like Las Vegas? Hope you had a nice and Happy Easter you and Natalie and friends and family. Hope you have a great week. Love you guys! ❤❤🤗😘
Hi Sherri, we actually thought of you when we were in vegas, but we just didn't have any time to meet up. We did like Vegas, but we were exhausted, so didn't really get to explore too much.
@@BrazenBrits Oh that’s ok! As long as you and your dad had a great time that’s all that matters. I can tell you did. We will meet up again. I just loved seeing you and your dad together making memories.
I will take this as a compliment 🤣. I have lived in the USA for 10 years and I won’t lie, it was a breeze to fit in. My dad (on vacation from the uk)…….not so much! But he loves the USA since visiting.
At risk of sounding like the old person that I am, your Dad is just delightful. Thanks for sharing him and your adventures with us.
hahaha. Thanks Henry. We had such a great time together. Fingers crossed he comes back next year for another trip.
I'm so glad you two had a fun trip! How great is it to be able to show your Dad these sights? Now you have a video record for memories.
Yep; we made these for years to come for sure!
Love the relationship you have with your dad! He seems like a very nice man.
He loves to play the ‘posh British guy’, but he has an amazing sense of humor we had such a great time. Thank you so much for watching.
How cool that you and pop could take that trip together, great memories.
oh absolutely. We had such a great time!
So glad Dad gets to be on a trip with his son. Many memories for both of you. Thanks for taking me along.

Enjoyed watching
Glad you enjoyed

Thanks Terri! It was an amazing trip that we won’t forget.
I feel your tiredness.
Long day Laurence and old man.
Enjoyed watching this. Xx
Glad you enjoyed Thankyou
This was a good dam video. Glad you had such a good dam time.
😂
I see what you did there! I missed a trick for the thumbnail! hahaha
Totally LOVE that you have done this trip with your dad! Very much have enjoyed your last videos with him. Thanks for sharing.
Me too! Thank you so much for the lovely comment Tracy!
Thanks!
Thankyou so much Kim 🥰😘

Thank you So much for tagging along Douglas. It really was a fantastic trip!
Did you check out the old motorcycle museum in Oatman?
We did not. We've been there twice and didn't know there was one there?! Sounds like I need to go back again
@BrazenBrits ask a local merchant, old Harley and Brit bikes.

Oh that's fascinating. Thank you so much for the information. Now i need to go back and make another video with your facts :)
Declining to pay 250 per person for the helicopter ride? 70 per person for the skywalk? Thats not being cheap, ........that's not being stupid!
Thank you! After driving over a hour to get there and over an hour back, we felt a bit crazy, but I still think we made the right decision.

Come back and do the South Rim...real deal.
Thanks Charlie.......it's on the list.
He who trusts a GPS winds up lost in the desert.
Always carry water in the desert. At least one gal per person and one for the car.
Yup! I 100% agree. At the start of the trip, we bought 3 crates. We returned the car with 1.5 crates. Worth it!
