Edgar Froese would be proud of your tribute for the fidelity to his style that you show. Thank you on behalf of all of us who have loved, love and will love Tangerine Dream' music, and thank you for making his legacy remain alive and valid in our days. Love and devotion.
From an old Tangerine Dream fan this is a great tribute and thanks for sharing.
That Malaysian Pale vibe is haunting, the bubbles of Aqua and the driving arppegiation /sequencing so so Edgar, big thank you for this great tribute to EF.
Excellent sounds and an excellent groove. Overall, an excellent tribute to one of my analogue heroes.😎👍
Awesome cover of Phaedra especially at the beginning! Plus I hear Rubycon and Ricochet as well! Fantastic work is all I can say. TD fan myself since I can't remember! RIP Edgar Froese!
yep, this is as much a tribute to genius of Christopher Franke and Peter Baumann, as it is to dear Edgar.
It's great that such influential music has such capable acolytes.
So cool to have all that in your mind and be able to share it
Brilliant tribute to Froese's innovative work. This does actually sound jst like Edgar's music, the classic use of Mellotron flute and strings and the driving sequences and bubbly synth sounds, beautiful stuff!
I remember reading an interview with Klaus Schulze and he was asked what he'd do if he didn't make records and he said "I don't know; church organist, maybe". Sometimes the old Berlin school electronica makes me think of "electronic church organist music", except perhaps for the repeating bass sequencers, because they can sound a bit demonic/out of control/aggressive. Good performance, by the way. Interesting to hear/see that people still create music like this. I used to think the flute/strings sound in early TD was Baumann's part, but his solo work is quite different. Neuland being the most recent.
Thank you for the namedropping and history lesson !!
Very moving and beautiful tribute to Edgar Froese. You have captured the soul of the best of Tangerine Dream.
Beautiful. Edgar would be proud.
A great tribute to a great musician,super
It must be so much fun having a studio like that one.... awesome.
Très bel hommage, et quel merveilleux matos !
Merci beaucoup!
Tangerine Dream.....awesome music, eons ahead of its time!
Super. Thanks.
I have loved "Virgin Period" Tangerine Dream for 32 years (I was 15 when I bought Rubicon, because I liked the sleeve!). I cried a bucket load when I heard the news of Edgar's passing...all things must come to an end. But the end hasn't come because you (and others like you - Arjen Schat eg) are keeping the "Dream" alive, and for that I thank you. This is the most convincing TD tribute I have yet heard. All the elements are there. Beautiful. Thank you.
Thank you!
Check out perge another t .d. tribute.
@@paulcollins5586 Hi Paul - thanks for the tip. I will check Perge out. Not herd of them/him/her before so it'll be cool to discover some new music.
@@AndyVonal think they are on bandcamp. They get the feel and sounds of TD but with their own touch. Almost copying but as a tribute. They are fantastic.
Amazing!!!!!
The phase shifter on the Mellotron strings is spot on.
Yes, it's the Schulte Compact A phaser :-)
Stnibar .. very recently discovered your Works and channel ..
What you do us what makes endless, meaningless and sometimes weird rabbit hole wanderings around RUclips all worthwhile ..
I've been following Tangerine Dream since first discovering them thru the cool soundtra k music of a TV commercial advertising William Friedkin movie ..
Sorcerer in 1977 at 10 years old living in ghe countryside of Sonoma, California
Soon after, discovering these incredible albums such as Rubycon, Phaedra and others ...
Especially side 2 of Rubycon ..
Which is like listening to Led Zeppelin - Whole lotta Love every day for 40 years ..
And you did this wonderful thing here Man! To watch and see it actually played like you've done ..
Replicating the sounds ..
The phasey Arp Solina and Mellotron sounds and the ratcheting on the Moog 901
YOU ARE TANGERINE DREAM .. You Sir, wow!
Thank you very much! /eric
Perfect and beautiful job.

Superb. The Mellotron sounds are very authentic.
Wonderful tribute, very much in the spirit of Edgar Froese
Phil Spector had a wall of sound, but nothing like this. his electric bill must be huge. This is incredible. Thank you for sharing. RIP Edger.
amazing tribute
Nice piece. Sounded classic TD. I once met Edgar at a TD soundcheck. He was rather grumpy! Had a nice chart with Chris Franke instead.
Brilliant!✨😎.

I didn't expect too much ...but was well impressed ! You have really captured the essence of Edgar's sounds and melodies of that era. Like it!!
Nice! I have a lot of their albums, and used to own the same model VCS3 Synthi he's sitting in front of in the 80's and 90's.

Great tribute track to Edgar Froese. It reminds me Froeses Aqua and Epsilon. Well done.
This is a great arrangement. Excellent gear also.
D e d i c a t i o n to a great, great man...played with warmth and passion. Looks like this tribute's been made in the warm and mysterious seventies...great, great job. The warm flute sound takes me way, way back!

Superbe
Majestic and timeless.
Really great tribute, thank you
👍
Nice !!!
very well
Sadly we lost a good musician Edgar Frose, who was the founder of the Tangerine dream he has been Sadly missed.
This was great man, you sound exactly like him. Impressed.
A mi chemin entre epsilon in Malaysian pale et Aqua.... bravo
Wonderous 😊
Very Ricochetish, still very unique! Post more, please!
Very beautiful. I still think Tangerine Dream set the standard for using synthesizers in a way that exploited their unique potential as musical instruments. Haunting and spacey and transporting. Excellent tribute to one of the masters.
Just awesome! thanks
Thank you! A wonderful tribute.
Hell of a tribute. Stunning
This is amazing tribute...Most people take things from the past and just give it back. But you took something from the past and raised it .Too a different level .Congrats to yourself .And don't change for anybody. Just change for yourself. And remember , it's not a daily increase but a daily decrease of unnecessary. Properly way to evolve...Godspeed and health to you , your family , friend's and fan's. THIS GOES TO ELEVEN from 1 to 10 ........\m/...
Thank you very much!
Amazing video quality, that crisp HD picture is overwhelming!

Very good!!!!!!!
Sehr gut - R.I.P Edgar Froese
Great stuff!!
great sound and so " clean " in his own sound !
That tribute! Congratulations!
Wow really good. Edgar would have loved it !
Amazing work. Congrats.
Great!! Thank You. Now I'm waiting for Keith Emerson tribute :)
i have absolutly no idea why i got an email from youtube about this video....but i do enjoy it a lot.
Very well done.
Edgar would have been proud of this!
GREAT
Is this Edgar Tribute available for purchase? Marvelous. I saw a comment below it said “2 years ago”. What? That is unfair to me as I am (along with many others, I know) a huge TD fan. I saw them in NYC in 1977, and although they didn’t return to tour the US until 1986, I saw them then, and missed zero tours since. But it is the 70s TD that triggers certain receptors in my brain that keeps me coming back for more. That, and the sound of the Mellotron. But I digress.
@Tom Lyle: It is not available for purchase, but feel free to download it from here. You may like other eric g music at ericg1.bandcamp.com/
these voices play themselves though - edgar might have been a conduit
let's go blast fauni gena
RIP.
This is a wonderful tribute, a heartfelt video. And, NICE GEAR! Great playing! You can see a TD-inspired concert video I made with the Ministry of Inside Things on my RUclips channel- well, a 10 minute cut of it (need to upload the whole thing here), but the entire 1 hour is on Vimeo.com
Drunken Mozart in the dessert is my favorite
