Man all I have to say is that You did a Freaking Superb Job on That! I've been wanting a Conan the Barbarian action figure myself and it's hard to find anything decent looking out there that isn't ridiculously expensive!I'm going to have to rig up something for myself. Great Job Man!
@@fordranger8211 Yeah, that's what it came down to for me too, I wanted Conan but the few figures out there are too expensive for what they are ..... Thanks 4 watching!
I gotta tell you man I like what you did with that So Much I had to look at it again. I'm going to custom one myself some how. Just an Awesome Job Man!
Very close to mine, I added 5 o'clock shadow to hide the He-man-ness. I also got the Mezco Conan, but this guy towers over him. You did a great job with the sword, man.
Thanks for this, I have the savage heman just lying around, I got it for Orko and $15 for an Orko worked for me. Now I know what to do with my savage He-Man
I picked up a Savage He Man with the intention of making a custom Conan. I've picked up the original He Man from the same line for the booted feet but what i might do is just use the original He Man and alter him. I was also reccommended to buy the BAF Korg figure for certain bits which i still might do. I'm just looking forwards to kit bashing a figure i've always wanted. One of the last things i'll do is get the movie Conan headsculpt to finish him off.
I use Vallejo Acrylic paint and seal with Krylon Matte clear coat ..... There are many different kinds of clear coat you can use and arguably better ones than what I use, but try some different ones out to see what works for you ...... But I will say that I have had far better luck with spray clear coats than brush on versions
@@GeekFusion_TV thanks man. I just bought the savage 2 pack for like $8 and was going to use the barbarian he man I had. I have the super 7 comic Conan but yours looks amazing. And with the wash you just dilute with water and brush it on then wipe it off?
At the risk of sounding really dumb. Could you provide a sort of step by step of how you did this? I'm very new at customizing and I really want to give this a shot
Well it's a pretty simple custom, ya just need the figure, some brown and black paint, some sealant and a razor blade. I painted the hair dark brown then gave it a black wash (which is just mixing water with black paint so it gets in all the little cracks and details of the sculpt and then wiping away the excess) then using the wash on all the parts like the armor, boots, skirt and weapons to bring out the details and make them look more worn and used. Then using the razor to shave and cut the chest harness to look less like a He-Man harness, then applying the wash to that as well. Then using the razor to shape the sword to look more like Conan's Atlantean sword and then painting the handle dark brown and guard black. Then going over all the pieces with a clear coat to seal everything up. I like to use a spray sealant like Krylon dual matte finish clear coat, but there are many different kinds you can use. Hope that helps

Just amazing work there ! 😊
Damn that's brilliant!!! Nice work!

This looks really great!
Makes me wonder how possible it would be to make a Red Sonja using Teela.
Wish I was good enough to make this myself, lol.

Looks nice, but if not doing Arnold Conana, he always has black hair. It is specifically called out often in the books.
i did same thing Same Figur viking & savage HeMan
Nice work. Im trying to do something like That. Did you use primer and varnish? Thanks
No primer, but I did use some Vallejo clear coat
Wow ,Amazing
Can it be done with a heman revelation figure?
I've checked out this Conan to make a Savage Avengers team
Man how much do you charge for a paint job for the weapons
What kind of paint? How do you seal it? New to customizing

@@GeekFusion_TV it does help very much. If you already answered this I apologize, but what kind of paint did you use?
