I completely disagree with no slinky tank with shorts. If you have an hourglass figure unlike this model its a great look because your own curves makes up for the "too much of one style and lack of proportion"
Please make a video about hair style , which style is perfect for certain clothes? i noticed sometimes mine look better in high ponytail, low ponytail, high bun, low bun, or hair down, depend on my wardrobe, not so much video abt it on youtube.
My wardrobe is super basic, I have black and white of a bunch of tshirts and tanks, it makes getting dressed simple and nothing goes to waste, I prefer to look chic and simple than trendy.
You have shown us examples of how to wear higher neck t-shirts layered with a blazer on top, before. Is that still okay? What is the difference? Maybe not have the tank top be the same color as the top layer and the bottoms? If the high neck tank is a contrasting color, to the layering outer piece, would that be okay?
I personally think your suggestion is super cute and, as a modest dresser, I wear it all the time. If you like it, I think you should go for it. Who cares if it’s trendy or not when trends only last 10 minutes.
Honestly, It doesn't seem like the shape matters as much as the contrast between the garments on top and bottom. Solids all-over is a no-go unless you're aiming for full monochromatic. But mix up solids with patterns or another contrasting color (like black and white) and it looks much better. Don't get how the shape matters much but ..meh.
Ngl I preferred the tank top with shorts look over the long skirt. But these are good tips to take into consideration!

They both work. What I do like about the high tank (from a short girl) is how it elongates, making your body appear taller.
