Never heard of this band until yesterday, but they're probably my favorite "new band" of this year so far. This album fucking slaps from start to finish.
you should check out the new falset album, villain of the story and chaosbay. All amazing bands
They have such great choruses with good instrumental and their sound is diverse yet cohesive.

Honestly I’ve discovered so much good music on this channel I just trust your music taste and character so much I think those videos would be helpful in finding new music and entertaining.

I love this album.
Production especially on the vocals reminds me a lot of Annisokay in the way it's produced. But overall the album is pretty cool to me

Well it's because Cristoph Wieczorek, singer, guitarist and mixer of Annisokay, mixed this album at Sawdust Recordings
and `locked`) it is similary in breathing while singing and high notes (turning into a semi-groan at the end of the phrase)
Yup, like others said Chris from Annisokay mixed this and they were also touring together (also with Setyoursails) which is where I heard them for the first time and they were amazing. Hope to see them again.

I remember 'heads up' was the first ever future palace song I heard. Back then I wasn't really into music of that level of heaviness, so I wasn't a huge fan, although I liked that song. And then a few months later 'dead inside' released and I was reintroduced to future palace. When 'run' was released I played it on shuffle (I don't have spotify premium), and the first song that came out was 'wounds'. It was at that moment when I was totally hooked onto future palace. More specifically I loved the contrast between the 'you' and the 'give me chills, give me smiles' part of the chorus. The first part was vocally very soft and sort of like a falsetto (?)(I'm not a vocalist so I don't know), but Maria instantly changes her style for the next line to really powerful and crunchy pronunciations which I enjoyed a lot. Of course, I also really enjoyed the rest of the songs, especially paradise and loco loco, which I feel are very interesting and creative songs.
All in all, future palace pulled off a banger and I'm a proud fan of them :)

Arising Empire is one of my favorite labels the last year or so. Haven’t heard a release yet I haven’t enjoyed and this was no exception.

Would be great if you give new Secrets a chance
Its a good album but it needed a bit more catchyness. After 2 listens, nothing really made me sing along or made me remember a song. Potential is there tho
I'd say Dead Inside and Sleep Tight are both memorable to sing along. Both have such catchy choruses standing out from other songs' choruses.

I actually don't know what to think about this album. It's good, but nothing's special about it. I kinda prefer their 1st album, it's more catchy. I wish there were some screaming tho, it would be 10/10.
This one is 6.5-7.0/10 for me.
For some reason I can't vibe with it. I like the instrumentals, and her vocal/scream tones are good, but her syllable & melody choices combined with some very generic lyrical moments make me cringe every once and awhile, which pulls me out of it. This isn't something I'd listen to, but it's probably a 7/10 level album in terms of the overall metalcore scene. My personal bias rating would end up much lower.
Spirit box is stupid... this future palace 💯 time much better than them
