During the period of lockdown in New Zealand a substantial quotation from a work on world economics written by Klaus Schwab was circulated as if to substantiate Jacinda Ardern's government decision-making on the pandemic and oppose its economic management in general. The only problem with the said quotation is that it was never written by Klaus Schwab and does not appear in any of his published works. Misinformation abounds. Unchecked, it is easily manipulated and further propagated for the unsuspecting to believe it.
Feeling extremely happy when Jacinda gave tribute to our former (late) prime minister Benazir Bhutto. Benazir Bhutto was truly a great leader of all times
America is a country really embattled at the moment. Jacinda's tells Americans not to give up, not to devolve to division and outright conflict, that big issues can be addressed and resolved. Interestingly she says that kindness and understanding should be at the root of mprogress, I cant disagree.
Indeed and staunchly pro life. She would surely be horrified by Adern's new law allowing abortion up to and including during birth and more so that Adern voted against a ban on sex selection abortion, something Bhutto spoke out against.
A remarkable speech, beautifully delivered. I realise not everything is perfect in NZ - nor anywhere in the real world - but Prime Minister Ardern sets a standard for intelligent, articulate and sincere social and political debate which is not matched in my own country.
New Zealand leads the OECD for teenage suicide and ranks highly for incarceration, infant mortality, general suicide, sexual violence etc Unfortunately, Jacinda Ardern has made no significant difference to any of these issues.
@@DaParty3473 That is true, but when you position yourself around compassion and kindness, it's a failure that no progress has been made. Agreed, it's not an issue that current government alone has faced.

Beautiful speech, so well delivered. We are very blessed to have her, no one else in NZ politics would come close to being able to deliver something like this with as much grace, humour and execution and she did. Disinformation is clearly defined as false information designed intentionally to mislead. Do politicians lie? Of course they do. So do you and I. Do they disinform? Not often. What do you mean by " nobody should have that intellectual power." ? Are you suggesting someone has given Jacinda Ardern her intellectual power? Intellectual power is not something that can be bestowed on someone and therefore could be taken away; it is true, in part, it is due to an individual's genetic makeup BUT MORE, intellectual power comes from hard work and a disciplined dedication to learning and developing intellectual ability. Intellectual power comes from a desire to improve ones own intellect - , usually involves reading, listening and THINKING

My husband who passed away 7 years ago was born in New Zealand. I know that he would be very proud of this wonderful woman. I only wish that the United States was as lucky as the Kiwis to have a leader as compassionate and as progressive as Jacinda, a leader who saw the need to rid her country of the weapons of mass death and did just that. I remember when in the early 1980s the New Zealand government decided to prevent any nuclear ship from docking in New Zealand. Their government came under bitter attack from the Reagan administration that later orchestrated the coup in Fiji that removed Fiji president Timoci Bavavdra who also banned nuclear ships from docking in Fiji.
And we are still nuclear free…thanks to France and their safe nuclear testing in the Pacific, NZ decided enough is enough and majority of NZ voted to become Nuclear Free from 1985 and because of this in 1986 USA kicked us out of the ANZUS treaty, this was a treaty between Australia, New Zealand and US formed in 1952, for the Protection and Security of the Pacific…Someone must have been watching closely cos guess who’s trying to take over the Pacific now, China…
New Zealand banning nuclear ships from its waters had to be one of the worst political decisions ever made, not only did it set back the quality of life for kiwis that could have rivalled Australia but it also showed New Zealand was not going to recognise its commitments towards peace and stability in the pacific region. Banning Nuclear ships had made the ANZUS treaty completely useless and soured relations between NZ and the US for years to the point that the US stated that they could not promise to defend NZ. Perhaps the worst part is that it was all theatrics because it didn't change anything besides kick the US navy out of NZ ports and showed the US that NZ was not an ally to be trusted.

And we are still nuclear free…thanks to France and their safe nuclear testing in the Pacific, NZ decided enough is enough and majority of NZ voted to become Nuclear Free from 1985 and because of this in 1986 USA kicked us out of the ANZUS treaty, this was a treaty between Australia, New Zealand and US formed in 1952, for the Protection and Security of the Pacific…Someone must have been watching closely cos guess who’s trying to take over the Pacific now, China…
don't know what they have been putting in the water in NZ but if you can't see through her obvious fakeness there is no helping you
@@blusymmonds630 ….can’t be just New Zealand, Jacinda is world wide, so It’s not the water then🙄🤔😆
New Zealand banning nuclear ships from its waters had to be one of the worst political decisions ever made, not only did it set back the quality of life for kiwis that could have rivalled Australia but it also showed New Zealand was not going to recognise its commitments towards peace and stability in the pacific region.
Prevented mass death? Ever since she banned guns in the country. NZ has seen more death by gun than ever before!

Like most countries NZ has problems. It doesn’t look good to see her acting on the world stage like this when she’s so out of touch with her own countrymen, our living standards are down the gurgler, it sickens me to see the lack of government tolerance and respect for our Indian, Samoan, and other hard working folk in NZ I speak directly about the lack of any action to help the ram raids and thefts from their shops that they have had to endure for years now that has now become a widespread problem. The police are unable to handle it because the current laws limit their power. So many people rely on food banks, its very worrying to all New Zealanders and almost everyone I know helps out in some way with this, and so many other people have had to start up innovative to help the huge need be see with our own eyes, it’s just weird and crazy it’s not how we used to be.The gangs in certain parts of the country are out of control, shootings and murders, people are afraid of the push for electric cars when few can actually afford them, house prices are unaffordable and not enough of them the materials for them are in short supply. Many of our young people who came home during covid are now leaving in droves? While Covid affects all countries it’s obvious to all, our covid numbers are under way under reported.
The government who started out with good intentions are now asleep at the wheel, and it’s very wrong to see our Prime Minister talking things up to others when even the very basics of running her country have gone so wrong.

A parliament with 50 per cent women, one gay and certain number of Maori representatives looks good on paper. It might be delivering in a tiny country like New Zealand. However, future of Western liberal democracy is hanging in balance. It is struggling in developing countries. Even is developed countries, differrence in population growth rates of various ethnic communities is a factor which may force settler community to do away with adult franchise.
