My husband who passed away 7 years ago was born in New Zealand. I know that he would be very proud of this wonderful woman. I only wish that the United States was as lucky as the Kiwis to have a leader as compassionate and as progressive as Jacinda, a leader who saw the need to rid her country of the weapons of mass death and did just that. I remember when in the early 1980s the New Zealand government decided to prevent any nuclear ship from docking in New Zealand. Their government came under bitter attack from the Reagan administration that later orchestrated the coup in Fiji that removed Fiji president Timoci Bavavdra who also banned nuclear ships from docking in Fiji.
And we are still nuclear free…thanks to France and their safe nuclear testing in the Pacific, NZ decided enough is enough and majority of NZ voted to become Nuclear Free from 1985 and because of this in 1986 USA kicked us out of the ANZUS treaty, this was a treaty between Australia, New Zealand and US formed in 1952, for the Protection and Security of the Pacific…Someone must have been watching closely cos guess who’s trying to take over the Pacific now, China…
New Zealand banning nuclear ships from its waters had to be one of the worst political decisions ever made, not only did it set back the quality of life for kiwis that could have rivalled Australia but it also showed New Zealand was not going to recognise its commitments towards peace and stability in the pacific region. Banning Nuclear ships had made the ANZUS treaty completely useless and soured relations between NZ and the US for years to the point that the US stated that they could not promise to defend NZ. Perhaps the worst part is that it was all theatrics because it didn't change anything besides kick the US navy out of NZ ports and showed the US that NZ was not an ally to be trusted.

New Zealand is definitely a beautiful country but, Jacinda Ardern is a Klaus Schwab chosen one, and things will become very unliveable, very soon.
"You will own nothing and you will be happy "
Klaus Schwab quote.
@@mariahewitt9787 maybe everyone should get out of there and leave the land to the Māoris ...
@@mariahewitt9787 lol that quote is stupid. Do you know why I'm happy. Because I have a life plan. I have a loving family. I own what I need. I don't know how this quote applies...

Hey Jacinda,
Enough of the postering. How about you come home and sort out the crap we're in.
Is there only one person running NZ? Must be a small country.
You should be proud of Jacinda. Many countries around the world would give their eye teeth to have a leader like her.
sort your own crap out Patrick
@@helbenshcfam9064 You're dead right. Sensodyne or Ultra Brite may be the answer.
Wonderful speech and great relationship building with other nations. I like Jacinda, she gets real stuff done and has opened up and communicated what the government is actually doing while in power. I do not agree with all of her parties policies and I am an undecided voter. All the fascist trolls in the comments can crawl back into their cesspits of hate, you are nasty little worms.
I wonder why you are uncommitted, as you say you agree with these policies?
WOOPS I am sorry should have reread your comment, I see you don't agree with all policies etc..
@@heatherlee6468you know you can delete or edit your comments right?
She's great at appealing to talk show crowds and communist universities, that much is true.
U OSTRICH
Incredible speech. Powerful, honest, moving and hope giving.
Right but what did it have to do with students graduating?
Oh look, the Trump cultist doesn't know what graduation addresses are about; what a surprise to nobody. Rafael is here to provide an example of the misinformation which Jacinda was talking about. He has been busy spamming all the comments on all her videos, because she scares him to death. He is all lies and no substance. He has been unable to provide any evidence of any of his claims. Rafael is scared of truth, scared that if people listen to Jacinda then he will be unable to easily spread lies like he has been doing for so long, and is scared of strong, intelligent women. Use Rafael as an example of what not to be. Don't live in fear, and don't live full of hate and lies. Live like Jacinda instead and embrace truth, love, and kindness.
It gives those students food for thought. It gives them hope that maybe they too can make a change in the future
The war on free speech is heating up!
Yes it is - lead by DT & Republicans.
@@felatiome331 Riiight, because they're the ones shutting down campus free speech events and REEEEing about Twitter being bought by Elon, who hinted about lifting restrictions.
@@bobbobbington3615 Why do bigots always try to defend their version of "Free Speech"?
Take Australia for example. The conservative Morrison government tried to enact a "freedom of religion" act, it was anything but. It basically said that no one can discriminate against Christians but Christians can discriminate against every one else. So much for conservatives fighting for freedom of speech.
What they mean is that they want the freedom to treat others any way they like but if you disagree with them then you are a "communist" and should shut up.
If EM does take over Twitter then he has the right to run it as he wants and let people use it the way HE sees fit, which is EXACTLY what the current owners are doing.
It is NOT a government entity and therefor is not covered by free speech laws, if you want to use a service you follow their rules. What you are saying is the owners of Twitter should have no rights as who can or cannot use THEIR service. I bet if someone tried enforcing that sort of law on you you would be the first to start yelling and screaming and throwing tantrums.
