One thing I don't hear mentioned often is that Bitcoin by definition is limited to a total supply of 21 Million coins. Once these are mined, that's it forever. There have been 19.8 million already mined, so bitcoin miners are nearing the end of their growth era.
Agreed - Altucher is clearly getting absolutely desperate. Maybe his last cash-grab programmes didn’t sell very well, or maybe the stocks he’s recommended haven’t been performing as well as his hype would lead people to believe. You’d be better off putting 10k on the S&P500, boring as that may be, than putting your all into banking on low or micro cap stocks where there’s no guaranteed return and you won’t necessarily know when to get out. Some of his information is good but his ethics - at $10k (?????) are seriously lacking on this one. I don’t like the fact that he is targeting vulnerable people who may be elderly or have a mental health condition that impairs their risk awareness and causes them to bet their life savings on his expertise because they trust him.
Altucher and Paradigm press are crooks. When I first got into investing, I bought a $49 membership, then you get inundated with marketing , for the next big pick. But you have to pay for it. Let’s face it. People than can afford 10k aren’t on the web looking for financial advice . As a profitable trader, I have 1 recommendation. Never keep a penny stock overnight . You. Can make tons of money with them. But just buy when they are breaking news, and sell later in the day . They will tank after hours and premarket more often than not!
