I feel like this is a great thing
Sony realized that in their failure to support the vita they not only gave the entire market to nintendo but also helped nintendo get back on their foot by the success of the switch as there isnt any real competition and even the steam deck doesnt really compete with the switch as it is not available in a LOT of countries (since it is sold directely by valve) and the portable pc market and the handheld market isnt really the same thing
However the fact that it is basically a ps5 controler with a screen makes me worried that it will probably be cloud/remote only
This will probably just be marketed as a controler for the ps5 then a handheld
Their is no point to this we have handheld PCs now
This doesn't sound like a console. It is a beefed up dualsense with an 8 inch touchscreen. Maybe Sony will push developers to add 2nd screen experiences for this controller.
They should have made a console similar to the steam deck, Aya Neo Geek, AYN Loki Max and especially gpd win 4, which is a modern x86 PSP, but oh well.
Could be cool. But it sounds like it's gonna be way too expensive
Psp 2?
Sony's last few moves have been a mistake..... The psvr2 is one of them. Due to how little amount of people own one why would big ps developers put a large budget into a game for 10 people to play.
