Great interview..just wanted to add a comment. There was a mention that Sri Lalgudi Jayaraman had not got the kalanidhi . I will just say that Lalgudi was just God. How can a mere Sabha like music academy award a God like Lalgudi. He was beyond awards . While academy later gave him a lifetime achievement award around 20 years ago , it was more of a consolation for the academy I feel. For the great man none of these things mattered. He was indeed Musican of the century. No one past or present or future comes closer near Lalgudi 'one and only' Sri Jayaraman. Pananams to him. Really enjoyed the interview. Looking forward to more such insightful interviews.
Their father was a legend!. Its nice to see his children carry on the values of their Father/Guru. Unless one is blessed this cannot happen.Blessed children. God give them Good health/peace n joy all their life.Their humility is very touching. Thank both of you. Deep Regards,

V nice interview. Felt v happy watching both their play at Hanuman temple, Dallas, few months ago. Krishnan ji mentioned about Shri Papa Venjatramaiah violin. My mother learnt violin from him and she was Gold medalist at Music Academy competition, felt like sharing. V good casual talk and to know about them. thanks Subha Kannan and Team
