    Could you please tell me what cloth you use when applying and polishing thanks

    • @jpwoodwork
      @jpwoodwork  3 года назад

      i use paper towel, never use cloth on a lathe in case it catches it can wrap around the piece and worse case scenario bring your fingers with it, whereas with paper towel it will tear if it catches on something..... hope that helps

    Absolutely stunning 🤯! Is that a hard wood? Seemed to chip off nicely. 👏🍻👍

      Yeah it’s extremely hard/dense wood

    Beautiful bowl!! Are you in the US or UK just asking since your sponsors are Yorkshire and shine.

    • @jpwoodwork
      @jpwoodwork  3 года назад

      thank you very much, i am in the UK and i am only supported by Easy wood tools and Yorkshire grit, Hampshire sheen would be an awesome addition but not to be right now

    Hi Jamie
    Great bowl love the colour
    I am new to turning, what are the cutting tools you are using, are they easier than your traditional gouges??

    • @jpwoodwork
      @jpwoodwork  3 года назад

      Hey, I am using easy wood tools carbide cutters, honestly there’s a learning curve with both but to me there is definitely a lot less of a learning curve with carbides and you need less tools for the same result
