- Flying Transatlantic on United's Flagship!
Join me as I embark on a transatlantic journey from Frankfurt to Washington Dulles on United Airlines Flight 988, aboard their flagship Boeing 777-300ER. This detailed review covers my experience in Economy Class, from navigating the busy Frankfurt Airport to the in-flight amenities and entertainment options. Watch as I explore the seat features, enjoy a surprisingly delightful main dish, and appreciate the attentive service from the crew. Despite some minor disappointments with side items, the overall experience was enjoyable, making United a solid option for transatlantic travel. Fantastic Video! I'm contemplating a 787 trip on United from O'Hare to San Francisco in the late fall, then a A321 Neo on the return trip. We'll see what develops. Sure looks like United has stepped up their game which is good to see.
Cool plane
Awesome vlog... thanks for posting very informative facts...nothing but pure sounds of travel/airports and aviation..keep rocking...waiting for more like this....
Good report. Food looks very nice!
Last time I was in Frankfurt was 1983, I was shipping back to the US after doing almost 2 years in Stuttgart in the Army. Great times, hope to get back before I lose all my marbles.
I’ve flown with UAL transatlantic since 1995 and it was the standard back then. The last original 777 flight with UA was from IAD-FRA in 2011 on board an original 2-5-2 configuration before they refitted the whole fleet 3-4-3. But I’m a huge fan of the 300ERs especially compared to the 787s which are not good in comparison.
My first 777 flight was in 1996 with united from EWR to LHR and i can still remember the old grey livery and the size was mind blowing especially the PWs.
Good times.
Great video! Buttered the bread there on the landing. Absolutly great. Hopefully we can see a middle seat review soon. United dropped a post about how they are going to make it better than the window and isle. Also good luck on future travel I got pulled for traveling too much and the US might be limiting travel for citizens
Spertacular aproaching and landing congrats cheers jerry
Great video however they have been serving that same tired salad for a long time some greens and some quinoa along with it
9:29 What was the announcement the flight attendant made right before rotation during takeoff?
I think one of the overhead bins fell open
I wondered about that. She was telling the ladies & gentlemen to watch their heads. I was like "who's bangin' their heads? Is Quiet Riot on this flight?"
Nice video! Well, I noticed you are filming with your smartphone, how can you get full screen view without having the window been seen like at 12:45?
he probably taped the phone to the window or just held it against the window
@@cole7695 Ok thanks a lot.
Congrats on 10k🎉
Thanks!
It was a solid performance. Not at the level of 3M airlines though.
You paid a lot! I am going to Istanbul in September. Round trip SAS Scandinavian IAD-CPH, Turkish CPH-IST, with a one-day stopover in Copenhagen on my way back, for $1,050.
Well the -300ER is longer than -200ER
And will the length of aircraft really dictate the passenger experience ie. Entertainment and food?
How did you surivive with that little recline..
Not impressed at any of the food
