I had the pleasure to operate a All_wood muscle wood splitter and my goodness what a beast! Insane cycle time and the most powerful splitter ive seen in action. Keep up the great work guys.
Thanks for the shout out Heath and Rachel! I remember the old days when my dad would add dry gas to his fuel in the winter. Glad to see you back in the swing Heath!
After the mods to your saw how many cc do ya figure it is . We really wanted to go down to the get together but just had to much going on. Looked like it was a good time .
Thanks Phil, it was wet but fun. The saw is 79cc. With the Mods Dyno Joe says it will outperform a stock 500i. But he did say that a ported 500i will outperform it. That being said I paid about $750 for this saw new. Unfortunately they are discontinued but you can still find them some places.
Thanks Will, we really liked the 12-22 and if it were up to me we would have kept them both but Rachel says she needs that new kitchen. It was great meeting you too.
Why don’t you back the small trailer underneath the end of the table and the wood would save having to move it by hand and would allow another piece to,push it through?
Hi Heath & Rachel, Quite a few years ago sago I bought a three Point hitch log grapple from Wallenstein and absolutly love it. Even on the back of the tractor I’m able to put the but end under the skid late lift the whole thing in the air and cut the whole log into rounds. I don’t know about service because number one I’ve never had an issue and number two I bought it through my New Holland dealer but it’s great check out Wallenstein log grapples. Paul
Awesome video Heath and Rachel…! For what it’s worth, I had #8 for the 500i and the winner was #9….!!! UGH!!! And thanks so much for the shoutout and my sticker reveal…!!
Well guys, another great video. Great explanation on the equipment. I am really glad you guys are feeling better. Also, when you’re checking, that fuel filter possibly could be spark plugs? Hopefully get it fixed and you guys are back at her. Glad you had a good time.
HAY GUYS LOVE THE RUN-THROUGH ON THE EQUIPMENT. I'M GLAD YOU DIDN'T LEAVE CHRIS @ WOLFE RIDGE OUT. I'M SURE EASTON IS A GREAT SPLITTER WITH GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE... BUT BACK IN 2019-2020, WOLFE RIDGE SPLITTERS WAS THE BOMB LIKE THE 500i IS NOW. GREAT TO SEE YOU GUYS AT THE FELLOWSHIP AND ALL THE REST OF THE WOODHOUND COMMUNITY THAT WAS ABLE TO MAKE IT... IT'S COOL TO SEE ALL THE RUclips FLOKS TOGETHER HAVIN' FUN CUTTIN', SPLITTIN', AND STACKIN'. HOW FUNNY THOUGH, IT ALWAYS SEEMS TO RAIN ON ABOUT 3/4ths OF THE FUNCTIONS... I SHOULD HAVE A FUNCTION HERE! IT'S REAL DRY, DRYER THAN NORMAL. WE COULD USE SOME OF THAT RAIN YOU FOLKS ARE GETTIN' UP THERE. I'M LOOKIN' FOOR SOMETHIN' DOESN'T NEED TO BE NEW, JUST NEEDS TO WORK. I LIKE THE 28 PRO CAUSE IT'S A GOOD ALL-AROUND SPLITTER WITH BENEFITS. LOGLIFT, CYCLE VALVE, WELL BUILT AND TOUGH, AND EASY TO MOVE AROUND. I'M NO SPRING CHICKEN, SO SWINGIN' AXES IS OUT OF THE QUESTION. AND WE'RE NOT WORKIN' OR COLLECTIN' S.S., SO DUMPIN THOUSANDS ON A NEW EQUIPMENT IS KINDA OUT OF THE QUESTION. WE WOULD ONLY NEED IT FOR WHAT WE BURN AND FOR THE AIR B&B RENTALS. OTHER THAN THAT, IT WOULD BE A WASTE TO HAVE A SUPER-DUPER HIGH-VOLUME & POWER MACHINE JUST TO PRODUCE 4 OR 5 CORDS A YEAR... IF THAT... WELL, GLAD YOU'RE FEELIN' BETTER. AND GOOD TO SEE YOU BOTH IN THE WOODYARD. STAY COOL, AND KEEP PUSHIN ON! PEACE FROM CREEL CHIHUAHUA, MEXICO... BY ANY CHANCE, HAVE YOU EVER GOOGLED CREEL TO SEE WHAT IT'S LIKE HERE??? IF NOT, FOR THE OLE GRINGO. CHECK IT OUT. WE LIVE RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO A PLACE CALLED WOODEN INN. WE HAVEN'T MADE A PAGE YET, SO YOU WON'T SEE US. BUT YOU'LL GET THE JIST... THANX... 🌲🌳🪓🪵🔥🏞
There are definitely a lot of good machines and owners out there. Chris is doing a great job over at Wolfe Ridge. I just looked up Creel and have to be honest it’s not at all what I expected. A very beautiful area, you guys must be loving it down there.
Thanks Joe. Both splitters are awesome just a little different. The 12-22 definitely takes less effort to move around the yard and less space in the garage, no one perfect splitter yet.
hi there good show , the ground looks kind of like Brads .now that you have used you new boiler for a while .do you think it uses more wood than you though it would ? i had menchend in a past show i kind of favored the Allwood ,well i didnt get gas there but my splitter is acting up as well . with all the hot /then cold makes alot of condensate , good show great to meat up with both of you again , best to all john
Thanks John, I’d say it uses more wood than I expected when feeding it junky wood but about what I expected when I put better quality in it. I also still have to replace the door which should help. Hoping the splitter is an easy fix.
Heath and Rachel, great video on why you go with the equipment you have. I am they same way. I try to get what works best for me and what i can afford.
Thanks Craig, the good news is there’s so much quality equipment for us all to choose from these days and the power of RUclips helps the quality companies get recognized for doing a good job and weeds out those who don’t a lot of times.
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors this is very true. I need to do a lot of man math lol. I want to sell my gooseneck.flatbed, buy a dump trailer, sell my 10 ton pintle and get a tilt. I still have my 1 ton dump truck. But i need to do a lot of man math first. Hoping the market is good to not have to pay alot extra. Like you said there are so many good companies just have to do some research first.
Hey Heath and Rachel. I love that Allwood splitter. I see it comes with diesel option also. I do agree that the wedge is too narrow. You think they would address that.
Great video. Glad to hear you say you are using non ethanol gas. I’ve been educated on that. If it has a carburetor don’t use ethanol gas, but without the ethanol you still need dry gas, maybe or like you said a filter. Good luck and glad to see you’re up and moving again.
If you are looking to keep that style of log grapple, take a look at the skid steer grapple that Skidder Kev uses. A conveyor would also solve the short outfeed table on your All Wood splitter.
Thanks, I do plan on looking at the Martach grapple but not sure how I feel about the free swinging head for the way I use it. I agree, a conveyor would overcome the short outfeed table.
I see what you mean by needing longer wings on the wedge. Fairly obvious watchin Rachael having to pull the mostly split bits apart. Love the way that grapple speds up delivery to the splitter. Cheers from HB. NZ
just found your channel and must say im watching your videos end to end, very entertaining. just a thought at 15:42 if you backed the tractor back another foot you could just slide the logs off into the tractor box?
Glad you’re feeling better. Heath when do you plan to tap? I have to wait two more weeks till be cleared by doc to ride wheeler into camp to tap. Weather permitting 🍁🪵🔥👍
Thanks Bob, I should be tapped now but haven’t had time to get out and assess my trail system. Hoping it’ll be dry enough to get out to collect without completely destroying my trails.
I was always using car gas in the lawn mowers until I started having trouble with them vapor locking then I switched to premium gas and seemed end the problem with vapor locking. I also put some fuel stablelizer in the gas before I start using it for the day
Great video you two. The one thing I knew I had to do when I purchased my boiler was access to bring wood to it. And storage area if possible. I did it best thing I ever did. When I consumed wood in basement I had to handle so much and getting the closest was through the grass or yard. Had to stock up and stack wood on great days of solid ground. That all wood rocks. And the Sachs Dolmar 😂-- --(Makita)
I think you kept the right machine. For one it’s just as fast 2 it more powerful 3 RUclips not flooded with them. I ordered a machine I didn’t think the 12-22 would be right choice for me. So I got higher tonnage wolferidge. I am glade Chanel’s original. Keep up the good work.
I sure coulda used a grapple when I was pulling and stacking trees! Your grapple is primo! Rachel, how the heck are you keeping your feet warm? Watching work in muddy snow makes my feet cold! -Jack
Jack, the functioning of the grapple is great, I just know there are some slightly better built units out there with better customer service. I feel better showing products I have faith in the companies. Rachel never really complains about cold feet. My feet are almost always cold from sweating first.
I like that splitter bigger wedge longer table and a conveyor would make it 100% I have a dump trailer Butthead considered buying the metal baskets next you have already desk light not have to touch so much of the wood as you know what I mean. thank you for sharing😊
That Massey is beautiful!!! That sucks about the fuel and that station is gettin it in the worse way right now. Sounds like an employee wanted an easier time and less work, possibly. Water in the fuel is annoying but and a new filter will definitely help. Wishin yall the best and that boiler has got to be a great asset to help with clean up both properties!!!
Your soul definitely runs well. I have that 661 thinking about selling it and going to a 500 I I was hoping to buy a ticket for that raffle over the Internet but Brad said they were all sold out. They may do another raffle. I would’ve liked to gone down to the fellowship just not able to do much right now with how busy I am at work and trying to start the process of building a house
Tom, I have 6 tickets I’ll sell ya cheap lol. I’ve heard great things about the 661 too. I know adding in building a house will definitely keep you busy for a while!
Thanks! We got it off Amazon. If you click the description to the video, it will pop down more information and there is a link to Amazon that has everything we use in it so you know exactly which one we have.
I was just going to ask if using dry gas in a log splitter is possible? I'm sure the engine's are different now than what they were, good to see you back
Once you get a excavator with a thumb you will get rid your tractor. I bought a cat 306 excavator what a game changer. Also get a skid loader with forks
Great video. Those splitter wings on the 4 way should be closer to the pushing ram. Is what I think. The pieces would then be split most of the way thru. Would be easier to get the pieces apart. Be Just my -2 cents worth. Massey Ferguson doing a good job. Seems wet every where. Your place and Brads place. Have a great weekend. Hopefully things dry up soon. 👋👋👍🏻👍🏻🚜🪵🪓🔥
Thanks Noel, I think once we get the longer table we’ll be good it’s just so short now it pushes the pieces into the mud if you push them through with the next split. I’m definitely sick of all the mud!
add a chute on your splitter end, that way you never have to pick the splits out of the wedge, load next round in and let that piece push the splits out and down the chute
Hey Heath and Rachel, good video. Sucks getting water into your gas. You guys keep cleaning up more and more wood for the boiler. It’s kinda nice taking junk wood and getting something out of it. Burn it up. Made sense why you sold the 12-22. Heath glad to see your feeling better. Take care.
Those old tractors, if maintained, last forever and are workhorses but it is hard to get implements for. My neighbor has an old Ford 9 and it is older than me. Still starts and runs great.
Hi, I still have my 12-22 and SuperSplit kinetic. I love both. But I only produce wood to heat my home. As for the chainsaw, I was a Husqvrna dealer in the 1980s. My 50 year old 380 CD runs like the day I bought it. I love them. Just bought a 450, 562, and 592 XP. I didn't need them, I just wanted them. I know it's madness, but it's a fine kind of madness. lol FYI, Dolmar invented the chainsaw. They were excellent. I think Makita bought Dolmar a few years back. But, the best equipment is always that which YOU like.😊 Shalom/gw. (aka Graybear)
You have two great machines! Everyone has their preferences that are personal to them. As long as the companies keep competing with each other to produce the best machines, we all win!
Great video! As soon as you talked about the splitter and Honda🤣 That’s my luck. I heard it surging and my first thought was water in the fuel. Hopefully it was a quick fix. Take care Heath and Rachel👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
With all the mud and slop I was beginning to think you were still at the fellowship😂. Seems like a good decision to stay with the All Wood Muscle and you will love the table extension. Funny hard luck story about the gas station and hopefully that is the only issue! Glad you are both feeling better!!
This is a Makita (Sachs Dolmar) 7900. It is an awesome saw. Unfortunately Makita has discontinued their gas saw line up, but you can still find them new and under $1k. I know Home Depot had a few left online last time I checked.
Totally agree with you on the splitter wedge should've had longer wings on to help bust up bigger pieces. Also the sorting table on a splitter that big and fast with the autocycle valve it should have the biggest tray possible. Personally I've been looking at that machine online and been trying to find videos more of that brand because I do like the height because of back problems and being taller...our old slow splitter we had to lift it up height wise because that slight squatting bending bothers my back! That's where the fellowship or get togethers would be awesome where you could try different manufacturers or different units out to see what would work best...Thanks for the videos
Heath check out the "Frostbite" grapple. I've had mine for a couple years now and it makes easy work small and big logs. They are imported from Estonia.
Yeah, it's like picking the right Snowmobile that you like, and fits you! Not that there's any snow. I'll have try and get dead standing trees out of Rod this summer, but I really don't use it very often except for these cold snaps. They are supposed to be widening the road (5' each side), so maybe plenty of wood to dry, this summer, it depends on the economy LOL. I talked to a co worker today about February, he said it's over. Nothing like January again. Joy Joy! haha I don't want to sound like a Nut jam, but having dried-tarped wood is a 'Prepper' device.
For some reason I'm only getting audio on the left channel while Heath was talking. This has happened once or twice on other videos. Then, when Rachel spoke, it only came in on the right channel. ???
If it doesn't have a fuel water separator on your current filter (and there's room under the filter) you can call Napa or a good parts store and see if you can get one for it, some have sight glasses so you can see if there's water in the fuel some have electronic sensors that tell you to empty it. Either way it'll save you a from a hassle next time. You'd think they would put those on there or a sight gauge with a drain. (not very common but)
Thanks Brad, I’ll look into that. Not sure if I’m seeing water or fuel in the filter canister. I’ll be working on it in the next few days and hopefully have it up and running again soon.
I have a Timberwolf TW-1 and love it. I do not like how low it sits, and I am getting old and need a log lift. It has been a great splitter. I have heard wonderful things about Eastonmade and met Andrew at the Paul Bunyon show. Seems like great people. I don't like the wit time. I am thinking about getting a Wolfridge because they sell them at a hardware store her in Ohio. Isn't the Makita made by Dolmar? I had a Sachs-Dolmar years ago and it was a great saw. I bought a Dolmar about 8 years ago and it was nothing, but a problem and service was awful. I now use Echo;s , which are Shindaiwa. Great saws. I have owned every major professional saw in the last 40 years. My favorite was a Jonsered910 but Husky and Jonsered have become box store saws and have no service.
James, yes the Makita is a Sachs, unfortunately Makita has discontinued their gas line of saws but they’re still out there. I know a guy with an older Timberwolf and it’s crazy low. The Eastonmades and Wolfe Ridges aren’t too low I just like the few extra inches of the All Wood. I know Eastonmades wait times are coming down a lot with the new improvements at the shop. Both Andrew and Chris make quality machines. I’d give the edge to Eastonmade though in my opinion but still not going to be disappointed with a WR.
I like Rachael's interjection, ok that's enough talking we have work to do. See, you better listen to her. I see Heath just got right to sawing. Haha 😮.
Yeah, it definitely sounds like there’s water in the gas. The 500i’s are overrated, at least for logging IMO. They have a few issues. Some guys love them though. As Stihls the 461s and 661s(standard version) are a better combination to have. I don’t know why in the world Stihl discontinued the 461! Rachel I like your new safety glasses haha! Stylin’ 😎🤙
Hopefully that’s all it was! I haven’t had a chance to mess with it yet. Rachel was pretty excited about her new safety glasses lol. I’ve been keeping my eye out for a deal on a 461 and a 661.
Hey, I bought Brad’s Ramsplitter and it works for my application but I would never use it for commercial work. It was a great upgrade from my homemade machine.
For sure, this grapple has served me well over the years. There’s a few material and design issues I’ve run into but the lack of support is my biggest turn off which is unfortunate because they could do so much better in my opinion if they addressed that area of their business.
Yes he does! His Bloodwood splitter is crazy! Bobby definitely knows his stuff. If the Hickory series was available when I ordered I definitely think I would have gone that route.
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors yeah I’ve been thinking with the new wedge design and the option for it to be height adjustable I may want to have the box option put on the new bloodwood. In your opinion is the size of his machines a pain when it comes to walking around to load wood or reach across the sorting table. I keep going back and forth allwood bloodwood and wolf ridge 35sho diesel
We're in south east MI so it doesn't get as cold as it does in Northern MI. I'm pretty sure they are still frozen and snowy up there. Winter sure didn't hit hard or last long this year!
Good morning Rachel and Heath HAPPY GROUNDHOG DAY UNCLE SAM didn’t SEE His shadow today there for 6 more wk to spring. In the 709 we use Lester lobster he see his shadow so we got 6 wks off winter 🥶 coming . 😮
Frostbite log grapple from Estonia Europe is the best but it weighs 359 lb and that is too heavy. The China-made Titan that looks similar is even heavier. My recommendation is to start with forks and build them out to 8 feet wide.
Thanks, I’ve looked at the Frostbite but I want one similar to this Ram Splitter that can also be used to skid logs. The Frostbite does look nice though.
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors I think it would need to be adjustable so that it would be twisty when you are skidding and so it would be no-twist to pick up logs from a pile.
@@jakebredthauer5100 yes, that’s how this Ram Splitter works. I really like the concept but wish the materials and more importantly customer service were better with it.
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors Perhaps you could trade it in to a dealer who has what you want because he is likely to know what to do with your grapple (resell it).

We wanted to try to stack it a little better to get more per load.

Water in the fuel is annoying but and a new filter will definitely help. Wishin yall the best and that boiler has got to be a great asset to help with clean up both properties!!!
Thanks Will! That employee was definitely trying to avoid some work lol. The boiler is one of the best purchases to date!
Glad you're feeling better !
Bad gas is a B - - - - h !!
Tough working in a mud hole...Hopefully it will dry up soon !😊
Bad gas and mud are my enemy right now.
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors 🤣
Good video, Heath and Rachel. By the way, where did you get your axeroon from?
Thanks! We got it off Amazon. If you click the description to the video, it will pop down more information and there is a link to Amazon that has everything we use in it so you know exactly which one we have.
up north here we use a gas deicer - breaks up the water - a fluid that can be added directly to the fuel
I will probably put a little in the tank and change the filter. Hopefully that’s all it is.
Great info y'all. I will say that All Wood is a beast (normally😅). I know it made quick work of the wood at HFH last year.
Yes it is, not sure what’s going on. I’ll get it figured out eventually.
I was just going to ask if using dry gas in a log splitter is possible? I'm sure the engine's are different now than what they were, good to see you back
I am going to add some here soon.
Once you get a excavator with a thumb you will get rid your tractor. I bought a cat 306 excavator what a game changer. Also get a skid loader with forks
I’d love to add both of those pieces of equipment!
That demo on the Makita… should have had Rachel do it with her new safety saw chaps on!
Hahaha!
Dolmar did make a great saw, makita has it pretty easy, just slap a new name on it and call it a day👌🏼what’s the CC on that one you have ?
That massie is sweet! I love older tractors.
It's a work horse! Rachel loves it too.
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors Ya I hear ya on the mud.
add a chute on your splitter end, that way you never have to pick the splits out of the wedge, load next round in and let that piece push the splits out and down the chute
Thanks, we definitely plan on adding a longer table and or conveyor.
Take care.
Thanks Al, It's the best to be able to burn the junk wood and get it cleaned up!
Great video guys.
Thank you!
Glad your feeling better hope you figure out what's wrong with the woodspliter. See your on the massey Rachel!!!
Thanks Victor! She loves that Massey!
Those old tractors, if maintained, last forever and are workhorses but it is hard to get implements for. My neighbor has an old Ford 9 and it is older than me. Still starts and runs great.
Yes they are, this thing starts right up every time! As long as I remember to turn the key on.
This weather is crazy. Just saw it supposed to hit mid 50’s this week. Everything is a muddy mess. The 7900 is ripping.
This saw is wicked! Mud season is hitting a few months too early for my liking.
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors One day I'll load up my saws and head over...
If this weather holds out, dirt bike season will be early...
That seems to be about how my luck is going these days! Still haven't messed with it, hoping that is a quick fix too.
With all the mud and slop I was beginning to think you were still at the fellowship😂. Seems like a good decision to stay with the All Wood Muscle and you will love the table extension. Funny hard luck story about the gas station and hopefully that is the only issue! Glad you are both feeling better!!
Thanks Obie! That table is a game changer!
What model chainsaw is that I use a old rancher 455 and looking for a upgrade and the 500i I feel is just a name with a crazy price
Yes! We've talked to Bobby about going to these shows so people can see his machines in person to get a feel for how they are sized and built.
Heath check out the "Frostbite" grapple. I've had mine for a couple years now and it makes easy work small and big logs. They are imported from Estonia.
Thanks Mike, I’ve looked at the frostbite, but I want one similar to this log grapple that can also skid logs.
Great video guys. Rachel sure loves that massy. lol.
Thanks, yes she does. By the way the Cowboy candy is AWESOME! Thanks.
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors glad you like them. Hopefully not to hot for you
Yeah, it's like picking the right Snowmobile that you like, and fits you!
That's a great comparison. Sounds like you hit the jackpot on wood, you'll be busy splitting it!
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors Well, not yet. Who knows what the future holds.
What kind of gas are you using
I have only ever run ethanol free rec fuel in it.
For some reason I'm only getting audio on the left channel while Heath was talking. This has happened once or twice on other videos.
Then, when Rachel spoke, it only came in on the right channel. ???
We record in stereo and each have our own mic. We have been working on our audio for a while and believe it is better now.
I think the speed and ease you're cutting thru the locust says just as much or more about your sharpening as it does the saw
Thanks Brandon, it was definitely cutting good. I just touched it up with the Granberg sharpener.
Bad gas and mud !!! Sounds like good time!!
I’m so sick of all the mud this year.
Hey Heath what cc is your Makita?
It is a ported 79cc saw. It’s too bad that they no longer make them.
Is that Mikita not just a Dolmar saw
Makita bought our Sachs Dolmar, but has since discontinued their gas line of saws.
Hey team HWM! I’m glad you both are feeling better. Hopefully you got the splitter issue figured out!!👍👍
Thanks Jeremiah! I hope so too!
I think could be wrong but wolfe ridge makes a firewood grapple
That do make a larger bucket style grapple but I want a similar log /Skidder style grapple like this one.
seems to me people need to do their research before asking your questions!
What fun is that? lol As long as they keep asking, we'll keep answering:)
Nice. Video
Thanks Ralph.
Love that grapple maybe do a subscriber giveaway 😅
We are looking into some better give aways but it’s going to be a bit.
I like Rachael's interjection, ok that's enough talking we have work to do. See, you better listen to her. I see Heath just got right to sawing. Haha 😮.
For sure, I know who’s really in charge.
Put some heet gas dryer in the tank
Thanks, I did add some and checked the fuel before and it appears good.
Rachel please just back up the Massey a little so the pieces just fall into the box saving your labor
We thought about that but wanted to somewhat stack the pieces instead of just let them pile in so we could fit more per load.
@hardworkingmanoutdoors okay I'm not ever going to boss you I was just wondering
use a can of SeaFoam for those machines - cleans the engine but counter-acts the bad gas. Works well for preserving the gas as well. GOD Bless
Thanks, I’ve used sea foam before but not in this unit.
Hey Rachel and Heath , hate you got bad gas . Good video !!! 👍🏻🪵🇺🇸🔥
Thanks Del! It's not any fun :)
The massey is a beaut guys. Great show.
Kenny
Thanks Kenny! She's a beast.
Rachel still the fastest lady on u tube until pattie running 37D EASTONMADE. 😊
Yes she is!! Patty is second.
Go look at his new bloodwood and the custom line hickory series. Bobby makes a 16 way or bigger last I knew. His equipment is bonkers strong and fast.
What happened to your winter? I see all the mud around your wood yard. I would have guessed in Michigan that it would be frozen now.
We're in south east MI so it doesn't get as cold as it does in Northern MI. I'm pretty sure they are still frozen and snowy up there. Winter sure didn't hit hard or last long this year!
Glad your feeling better that stinks you got watered down gas have a great weekend
Thanks David, hopefully that’s all it is but I’m thinking so.
Let me know when your ready to sell the grapple, I would be interested in it.
I’ll do my best to remember. It may be a bit but I’m looking.
Time for a new spark plug . 😮
I’m going to check those too.
make sure you use ethanol free fuel only
For sure! That’s all I’ve used for years in all of my equipment.
Good morning Rachel and Heath HAPPY GROUNDHOG DAY UNCLE SAM didn’t SEE His shadow today there for 6 more wk to spring. In the 709 we use Lester lobster he see his shadow so we got 6 wks off winter 🥶 coming . 😮
Leonard, I’ll take some frozen ground for 6 more weeks but please no more snow!!
Heath,Rachel reminds me of green acres when she’s on the massy maybe 🤔 later on today you could talk Rachel into some mud wrestling 😮😊❤
lol, a bit cold for mud wrestling.
👍
Thanks Will.
Looks like Andrew stopped in your yard on his way to Vegas...lol
I’d have to get this mess cleaned up before any VIP’s stopped by lol.
661 for me personally, excellent content.
Thank you, I always keep my eye out for a nice 661 deal.
I would think all wood could make a bigger splitting wedge for you,
Frostbite log grapple from Estonia Europe is the best but it weighs 359 lb and that is too heavy. The China-made Titan that looks similar is even heavier. My recommendation is to start with forks and build them out to 8 feet wide.
Thanks, I’ve looked at the Frostbite but I want one similar to this Ram Splitter that can also be used to skid logs. The Frostbite does look nice though.
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors
I think it would need to be adjustable so that it would be twisty when you are skidding and so it would be no-twist to pick up logs from a pile.
@@jakebredthauer5100 yes, that’s how this Ram Splitter works. I really like the concept but wish the materials and more importantly customer service were better with it.
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors
Perhaps you could trade it in to a dealer who has what you want because he is likely to know what to do with your grapple (resell it).
If you want a Makita, get one while you can. Makita ended production of gas powered chainsaws.
Yes they did and that’s unfortunate because they’re a great saw. I have a brand new in box 7900 on stand but if needed!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks!
