hi Mark, thanks for the video, I enjoyed it, those dishes all looked appetizing, you did great job with this one, I could tell there were 😋 tasty, keep them coming, very entertaining, also the tour was a good added attraction, God bless, 👋, 🍝🍗🍤
Mark please visit Guwahati, Assam......one among the seven sister states of North-East India.......you will love the food and the gorgeous mountains and refreshing backdrops...............:-)
MsCherade9 Right! A little bit of chili is good, but I got the impression that he would always puts loads of chili on everything he eats overpowering the taste of the actual food!
Lao Tseu: Agreed. Is he actually tasting the food or just masking the flavour with mountains of chilli! Hence everything to him taste awesome. Between him and Mikey from simply dumpling lm convinced they put chilli/chilli oil on there morning oatmeal.
the time wen Ying smile in ur video make me love her more than u and the food....😁😁😁 Ying is sooooo cuteee... love your family and ur videos 😊😊😊 love from India
As an Indian who visited Bhutan there are some places and foods that are stupid expensive and then some are similar priced as India.I paid Rs.3000 for something that should have barely cost a 1000 but i guess it was my fault for not inquiring about the cost The air is clean and not much traffic and it noise. I definitely would recommend a visit for any Indian.
I've never been so excited to see a food video until now! I've never even seen Bhutanese cuisine before but I'm loving every bit of this series. I mean everything just looks like it can all be my favorite foods. Must visit soon.
Hi Mark, loved your facial expression after the seasoned bite Thukpa....with the szechuan pepper. Priceless :-) Thimphu looks so peaceful, beautiful and I hope to visit it in my lifetime....people look so friendly in Bhutan.
You are taking so much chillis and spice You may get health issues soon And eat food as it comes that is what called taste, If you add spice in everything, there is no point in exploring different flavor
superalad The spices are in bowls upon the table because those dishes are designed to be seasoned by the individual to taste. If the dishes were meant to be eaten just as they come out of the kitchen there would be no chillis or szechuan pepper to hand for seasoning purposes.
Those chili and spices probably help him from getting stomach issues considering how many developing countries he visits where sanitation and water concerns exist.
waiting for another video!!! i am from bhutan and great to see you in my country. But, currently studying at Thailand and made me miss home when i watch your videos.
I'm a great fan of ur programs n I really do appreciated that u came to our country n tried our best of best foods across the cities n lastly do ur best n we all are there with u till today n tomorrow which will never end the following... Go on n on ....
I can tell Mark was not as pleased with the Thai restaurant, but he kept polite and gave it a fair review. I don't blame him, the food from home never tastes the same in other countries.
fantastic video u know what I like about your vlogs. you don't talk too much. you say just enough to describe the food and at the same time make the food sound great
Mark....the video is awesome. Bhutan is a beautiful country and would definitely visit someday. To my fellow Indians and neighbour(Nepalese), this video was about Bhutanese food and culture and you people again made this comment section a war zone.....plz spare us. If you people can't spread love please don't spread hatred.
I am sure Mark must fart fire and poop meteors. Let's add a little bit of a chilli sauce and proceeds to dump a spoonful on top of a spoonful of food. I am a bit skeptical about how much does the chilli butcher the food's flavour. XD
Mark . I love your videos. They are so genuine. And Bhutan is my favorite country. I strongly recommend visiting the Tiger's Nest or Paro Taktsang as it is called. It is the most beautiful Monastery I have ever seen.
Bhutan is a very nice, peaceful and friendly country!, yet there are very few videos or documentaries about Bhutan in internet!, Mark Wiens, bro you are really doing a great job by filming Bhutan with its traditional foods. Please visit tribal and remote areas also except capital cities so that people can learn more about the food habits of tribal people..overall great job..cheers mate !
I like eating my thukpa without so much hot sauce. as an ethnic Tibetan, that is how the Tibetans like to eat their thukpa. It is true that adding too much of hot sauce ruins the original taste.
Great video as always Mark! Those coffee beans are from western ghat I think. I tried chicken thukpa in Sikkim and oh man did I love it! It gets your tummy filled so fast too.
whenever I see vlog on bhutan i feel close to tibet bc bhutan is historically known as tail of tibet n as u said Tibetan religion n cultural influence is huge in bhutan. I can literally feel it.
Absolutely blessed food. Already appreciating the Bhutan series of videos and you just began sharing them. Mark, Blessing MyBhutan Productions for supporting your excellent skills. Ying appears to have really enjoyed the trip as well.
Big Fan of yours from Thimphu Mark. You should try, folk heritage restaurant for authentic Bhutanese cuisine and the momos of Zone...I love you, enjoy your stay!
Amazing video series Mark! Appreciate very much all your hard work and passion you put into every video. I know you do FAR more than just travel and eat, and you deserve everything you've worked so hard for! Cheers!
You can take the boy out of Thailand but you can't take Thailand out of the boy. Meaning Mark had to stop at a Thai restaurant in Bhutan. of all places. Not time for a respite from Thai food. The fluffy dough looks raw but it's steamed.
Thanks mark for giving us alot travel and food knowledge i m big fan of urs seen almost all of ur videos i hope u also come to pakistan and tried our delicious food also :)
Mark !! Please visit Bangladesh. U will get various kinds of cuisines in here. I am always ready to give u such guideness u need. visit bangladesh such an amazing country. thank u in advance. Mark.
Hi Mark, I'm Sara. Im really sorry, the first time I saw one of your videos I didn't know who you were or 'get' you so I made some silly comment about why did you pull appreciative faces, I realise now after watching loads of your videos you are a great guy and you make some of the best videos on You Tube! I don't know if you get as far afield as Europe but if you are ever coming to London please tell me as my husband Ko (who is Japanese) and I would love to invite you and Ying to anywhere that you'd like to go to. (from Michelin starred restaurants to everyday ones, whatever you prefer) . We watch your videos all the time as we miss South East Asia and he thinks its funny as I then rush off to the kitchen to attempt to recreate (badly)some of the dishes you show.
hi Mark I love to watch ur videos my name is Ijaz I'm from Pakistan i wish u come to Pakistan and taste the delicious food of Pakistan plz try one day to come thanks
Well no offence but this is what we eat everyday. He mentioned it as Tibetan, Thai and Nepalese food because that is how it looks. You should know that Bhutan is country with all religion,i am Bhutanese but my ancestors are Nepalese so we eat all kind of food. It's not that we eating food of other nation, it's just the way we are here... Diverse and happy.
It’s always good to see a man who loves his food, & so knowledgeable of the ingredients in each dish. Thanks for sharing your knowledge & passion

I am mark wiens when it comes to eating chilli😁
Mark, I think you are severely addicted to chili!
Lao Tseu I think you're right! He has that in common with Simply Dumpling, he's obsessed with chilli oil, especially the one he makes himself!
MsCherade9 Right! A little bit of chili is good, but I got the impression that he would always puts loads of chili on everything he eats overpowering the taste of the actual food!
Lao Tseu chili and cheese. All he talks about. Lol
You think? 🤔 😜
Lao Tseu: Agreed. Is he actually tasting the food or just masking the flavour with mountains of chilli! Hence everything to him taste awesome. Between him and Mikey from simply dumpling lm convinced they put chilli/chilli oil on there morning oatmeal.

TheGamingIndian and Nepalese or Bangladeshi
TheGamingIndian Is it true that Indians don't need a passport or visa to visit Bhutan?
The 90s Myth yes, all you need your passport or election voter card. But immigration will ask your return plans and give visa for that many days only.
