I'm unsure because I didn’t take that route, but I believe it's valid. Just ensure it covers the most recent three months. The Malta 🇲🇹 residency agency is quite responsive, and they will provide you with the necessary information.

I confirmed from them and they said it's not possible. The only way is to include your family in the initial application. Also note that if you include your family in the application you would be expected to be earning way more than €2,700 per month. If you work Remotely Yes! But if you want to apply for a physical 9-5 Job the nomad visa doesn’t allow that. In that case you will have to apply for a work permit and your nomad Visa will be on hold

It took 15 working days to get mine back.
You should send a mail to the visa office and copy residency Malta.

They typically reply on time, maximum 2-3 days except on weekends…. You can send them an Email.
